Been coming here on off for many years. I have to say, I still miss their special popcorn. That was truly one of it's kind. But alas, the food is still great. The service wasn't quite as great on my last visit, but I guess everyone is allowed a one off day. I had the rock shrimp, which is definitely one of my favorites here. The sink salad is always a winner also. The gumbo with shrimp actually had a bit of a bite to it, which was a pleasant surprise since most dishes in the mid-west are prepared bland even if they are supposed to have some spice. Highly recommend this dish... unless you like bland foods. I tried the churros creme brulee, which in my mind is two desserts in one. You have your little churros on top and then a good sized serving of creme brulee... and a truly great creme brulee at that... kudos

Revery is definitely one of the best restaurants on the Southside. The quality of the food is top notch and the cocktails are delicious. I ordered the Ricotta for an appetizer. The ricotta came out with a blueberry compote on top. I could have ate the entire thing myself but decided not to be totally selfish and shared with my friend. I asked the waitress what the prettiest cocktail was. She suggested the Rosen inspired cocktail. She was right. It was beautiful and delicious. I ordered the crab cake appetizer as my main entree. I was shocked by the portion size. It was perfect for an entree. I also ordered the sweet potatoes. It came in a large bowl with pecans and marshmallow on top which is how I love my sweet potatoes. It felt like Thanksgiving! Overall, a great dining experience.

This was my first visit to the Revery steakhouse, but it certainly won't be my last! We decided to try a new experience for dinner on the eve of the new year. The Revery is conveniently located, easy to find, and plenty of parking is available. Reservations were made for this evening's visit to ensure our table would be available. Warm and inviting describes the ambiance, as we were seated in the back bar area. Hence, I was quick to order up a perfect 'old fashioned'. The meal was exceptional. Starting with the poutine, we were pleasantly surprised at the assembly of edible bowl filled with tasty offerings. The mains were equally delicious, a premium ribeye and short ribs. What was also impressive were the sides - sweet potato puree and Brussel sprouts. We finished our meal with a delicious Creme Brule, which was a perfect ending to a wonderful visit.

The food was excellent! Service was okay, I had to wait 20 minutes for a drink at the bar while bartender was being chatty. However the short rib was soooo delicious! Cheese curds were good the jalapeño sauce was very good! Service in back bar was much better with Amanda and Joey.

My husband and I went here for our first wedding anniversary. We made a reservation and I'm glad we did because the restaurant was busy and all tables were filled. I got the skirt steak frites and it was very delicious! The steak was seasoned well, and I felt like it was a pretty good portion. It was served with a heaping order of french fries! My husband got the fillet medium, and when it came out, it was a little overcooked. They made him a new one right away and were very nice about it. Since it was our anniversary, they surprised us and brought out crème brûlée for dessert!

My husband and I came here for a date night a few Fridays ago. We hadn't been in almost 7 years, not long after they opened, but talk about how amazing their vegetables were all the time and decided to go back. I made a reservation the Sunday before and confirmed with Open Table the day prior that we were still coming. Once we got there, the hosts at the front wordlessly took us back to where we were being seated, which is arguably the worst table in the restaurant. A tiny two top that was in the very back, right in front of the restroom. Not long after, we discovered that the table was uneven and moved anytime my husband put weight on his side of the table. I voted to leave, but my husband suggested we stay and tough it out because the other nearby spot was a brewery with only pub food and pizza. Additionally, there were also other two tops that were empty that we passed on the way there and in the same room. The other two top in the same room as us stayed empty almost the entire time we were there. We were not greeted for quite some time, and when we were it was from the bartender who came over and never introduced himself to us or let us know that he wasn't actually going to be our server (probably 25 minutes after this a woman came over who said she was our server and asked if the bartender had introduced her, and we said he hadn't introduced anyone). We ordered cocktails and they came out relatively quickly. He oddly reached over me and picked up my stuff and then pushed them up against the wall when he sat down my cocktail, which was very strange. We ordered our actual food with our server when she came over and then only saw her one or two other times the rest of time there. Anytime we sat something down a busboy came over to immediately take it away without asking. This got old really quickly and he even came over and took my husband's dinner plate, that was empty from his entree, but was still being used for the 3 sides of vegetables we ordered to share. He came back and tried to take mine away as well and I had to physically put my hand out and tell him no. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 was because the food was still just as good as we remembered it. The only thing we did not like was the sweet potatoes- which I normally love- because they were incredibly salty and it overpowered the dish. Overall, I would not make the 45-minute drive down here again. The staff were not pleasant and either inattentive, or too attentive in the case of the busboy, so the lack of customer service really dampened our date night out. We both wished we would have gone somewhere else and kept the amazing memory we had from our first dining experience there. The food is very good, so I think most other patrons will have a much better time than we did.

Glad I found this place on my work trip. Such an incredible restaurant with delicious and unique meals. I had the Short Rib last night and the Pork Chop tonight and both offered unique flavors that I honestly did not expect. This place is situated in beautiful downtown Greenwood and I highly recommend all come check it out

Ambience: cozy, laid back, great date place. Music could be softer. Service: friendly, prompt. Food: has the ricotta appetizer, mashed potatoes and the burger. They were all great ! Even accommodated some change requests (sauces on the side). Personally I would have preferred less of the sugary syrup on the ricotta but that was the only issue I had with that dish. Price: only had food, no drinks. Was very reasonably priced. My bill was less than 40 usd. Will I return ? Yes!

Crab cake bruschetta I think. Old fashion and a gin cocktail that was super refreshing.

We love this place. We are able to bring our dog and the food and drinks are wonderful. The gin cocktail (green) was so refreshing and delicious. Even my hubby got one after his old fashion.

We started with the small biscuit board, which was really good--though a homemade jam would take it to the next level. I had the Vanilla French Toast and it was fantastic. My daughter ordered the bagel sandwich, which was also amazing. But the real star of the meal was the breakfast potatoes. I'm usually not a big fan because they're often over‑seasoned or mushy, but these were hands‑down the best I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned, crispy, and honestly unforgettable. They had an online waitlist that we were very glad we opted for prior to heading over. The staff was top notch. There was also outdoor dining available and plenty of gluten free and vegan options. Great food, great drinks, and a fun brunch vibe. We'll definitely be back.

I know this because we were seated right next to the bar and she was asking another lady how to make it. This is supposedly a Bourbon bar and you don't know how to make a Manhattan? They totally served it in a martini glass and without ice (supposed to have one large cube). I had to take ice from my water glass and add to the drink. It was Meh. Our young waitress then rang in the wrong order for me. They brought out our food and my order was totally something else. She immediately said "that was my bad" and had to go change it. I waited while my wife ate her food. Of course there was no offer to discount our meal at all. We have eaten here over a dozen times and this was just terrible. Come on Antilogy, hire competent people. You can do better than this.

A lot has changed since the first review. Now, the restaurant is only open on Fridays for lunch during the school semesters (no summer dates, time off for winter break, etc.) The lunch service is from noon to 1:45 (Yelp's software won't let 15 minute intervals be indicated.) On every other Friday, the restaurant is set up as a buffet and is quite popular (so I'm told). Apparently lines form on those days. On the alternate Fridays, the restaurant is a cafe where you get table service and can select from a limited menu that also has daily specials selected by the chefs. You can refer to their website for schedule dates to help you decide between cafe or buffet. Their Facebook page also lets you know what the daily specials are on the cafe days. Once you pull onto the campus, there are plenty of signs directing you to a private parking lot reserved for dining guests. It's just a short stroll into the restaurant. There is one large room with black linen table cloths. Most tables are large enough for 4-6 diners, but a number of 2-top tables are placed along the windows and far wall. I was greeted and seated by one of the chefs and given a brief overview about how the students did 95% of the work in the kitchen and would also be waiting on me (I chose a cafe day.) I won't say that the service or meal are the best, because frankly, they are still learning and some skills in service come with experience. If you are going to be impatient or picky, then maybe this isn't the place for you. I ordered a cup of French Onion Soup, an Andouille Po'boy (topped with coleslaw) and a side of broccoli salad. Generally, all tasted very good. There were small misses though. The waitress didn't know that the broccoli salad was the kind that is pre-mixed with dressing so I was surprised when she asked what kind of dressing I wanted on it. To her credit, when I though it odd, she excused herself to go ask the chef. (Yea!) I also asked if the French Onion Soup could be brought out first and then have the sandwich and salad brought together. Either she forgot or maybe they don't allow it, but the soup arrived at the same time as everything else. It would have been nice to have it early to help pass the wait time. I also had to ask for a soup spoon. Little things really, but I hope they read this and can help add to the learning process. The waitress also disappeared behind the black curtain for long periods of time which left it to the chef/front end manager to have to check on me/refill my water glass; things that an experienced waitress would know to do. Overall, the food was good, reasonably priced, and if you have a little patience, the service is fine when taken on the whole. I applaud that there is a place where people who want to enter the food industry can get live training from experienced chefs/managers who generally care about developing the student skills. FLAVORFUL RESTAURANT IN A HIP PART OF INDY…read more======================================== My daughter-in-law recommended Bluebeard for dinner on Monday, June 22, 2026. I would have to say this restaurant is my favorite in Indy right now after one meal. Most of the things we shared were amazing and for a complete description please refer to my photo of the menu. We ordered the following: Burrata with Amelia's bread as an appetizer which was delicious. Gem Salad - This was amazing and I could eat it every day of the week. Stacci house made pasta - This was a big hit and I would order this every time. Hanger Steak - My husband, aka the picky eater, loved it. I didn't try it, but everyone seemed to like it. Chicken with a few dumplings - We all loved this. Three desserts to share: a cheesecake with fruit on top, one a bread pudding and a chocolate crisp. I ordered a delicious Monsoon Season cocktail with song cai vietnamese gin, cocchi americano, st. george thai basil eau de vie, elderflower, lemon and basil oil. My son and I also ordered glasses of Port after dinner. The service was great and I loved that they were playing really good rock music like Soundgarden and others. There are lots of antique typewriters above the bar and a cool print of Kurt Vonnegut by the bathrooms. I am looking forward to going again the next time my husband and I are in Indy visiting my son and daughter-in-law unless they move out of state.

Their ever changing menu featuring local produce and meats is always unique, inventive, and most importantly, delicious. Their cocktail list is one of the best and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had an extensive mocktail list as well. Their sodas and syrups are all house-made which means every drink is full of fresh flavors. I had a lemon pasta dish an my husband ordered the hanger steak. Both were cooked perfectly and composed of flavors and textures that complimented each other perfectly. There's nothing that wouldn't be good on their menu because you can tell the chefs are exceptional as well as the ingredients they choose. I really can't say enough good things about this place, it remains one of my favorite places to enjoy a meal and no matter what I choose, I'm never disappointed.
