Wow! Their food is great. The portions are great. The prices are great. Can't wait to go back and enjoy breakfast or brunch and sit at the counter which I also love. We went for dinner and I had grilled salmon, my brother loved the cod fish and chips and mom had the chicken skewers Mediterranean plate. All delicious! The fried calamari is perfect, from Monterey Bay. Thank you for having the delicious perfect sourdough bread and butter. Fabulous!

Came here for a family dinner to give this place another try. Not too busy for a weekend evening. Service was quick and we were out of there in a timely manner. Ambiance is casual. The food was ordered and came out on time. The tutto mare was a good portion.

    tiny tender mussels with fries-

Five stars for retro cool ambiance as well aa the mussels and clams special, except no clams please. I think my waiter was Renaldo and he took very good care of me as a solo diner. I actually had never eaten here but have been to Jack's quite a few times. Moules Frites are one of my favorite treats but clams are my least favorite mollusk and i was thrilled to have the special customized with all mussels. The fries were above average and dipped into the liquid gold that tasted of garlic, butter, warming spices, white wine and the sea. Every shell opened and the mussels were tiny and tender. The mussing star is because a my refilled half glass of iced tea was accidentally dumped on me as my plates were being cleared. Apologies were abundant, but it was a cold evening and my pants were soaked so it was a chilly walk to the car.

The steak was tough and had a bitter taste to it.,The eggs and hash browns were ok. The toast was soggy. The guy who served me was inattentive . The place was still the same from I remember it long time ago it's a little more brighter and l believe that some work was done towards the bathroom.

We stopped by Boulevard Cafe for breakfast and ended up really impressed. Service was quick and efficient, and the portions were larger than expected, which made it feel like a great value. I ordered the Top of the Morning with scrambled eggs, applewood bacon, English muffins, and hash browns. Everything came out hot and filling. George went with the Three-egg Chorizo Scramble with onions and pepper jack cheese, plus hash browns and toast. He also tried a side of hollandaise, but it did not stand out since it tasted more like it came from a packaged mix. One thing that stood out right away was how generous the servings were. The eggs seemed bigger than usual, and neither of us left hungry. The space itself was clean, bright, and had a modern feel, which made the experience even better. Parking was a bit tight and we were lucky to grab the last spot, but it was worth it. Overall, the food was satisfying, the atmosphere was welcoming, and we both walked away happy. It definitely feels like one of those places you are glad you discovered.

We had no wait on an early weekend morning and got seated right away. Service was good and the vibes of the place felt like an old school diner, very homey. Food was good, breakfast was a decent portion and tasty. Parking lot of the joint is a bit tight but other than that, it's a nice breakfast diner spot.

Best House salad with grilled chicken My forever I crave it sometimes so I have to go get it or order it It's just the combo of the lettuce, the pecans, the tomatoes, the shredded carrots, the Persian cucumbers with a delicious dressing to top it off It's a delicious salad

I haven't ate at a diner in a while and heard good things about Boulevard so had to give it a try today. Service here is very fast our food was out probably in less than 10 minutes. My corned beef hash tasted great. Portions aren't too big where you can't finish and the price is, well I guess normal in today's economy.

Lamb chops- every component was delicious
    Tes Y.

The lamb dish was surprisingly delicious. Potatoes are crispy and tangy with the feta. The spinach was rich in garlic flavor. The lamb was well seasoned and cooked to a tender medium rare as requested. Enough for two meals. We had a pretty large party with toddlers and babies. Service was friendly and attentive!

In SF visiting with family and met up at the Boulevard Cafe. Restaurant has a large dining area which allows to seat large groups. We were a party of 12 and I felt we were a pretty easy group. However, our waiter had so many eye rolls and sighs when we had questions. Not sure why he was in a bad mood but we noticed. If the gratuity wasnt included, his tip would have been very different. Now the food was good. Large portions and food came all at the same time. No complaints there. I've heard breakfast is pretty good so maybe I'll come back.

I have been here several times now and have been pleasantly impressed by the quality of this establishment. The service is excellent and extremely fast. The food is tasty and their prices are great. Their drinks are well worth the trip too. I highly recommend them, give them a try.

Do they offer actual gift cards not a digital/email print out?

Hi, are there gluten free/celiac safe options for breakfast?

Has this business closed permanently? I. I went by a few weeks ago to have dinner and it looked dark with nobody inside. The parking lot was empty. I just tried calling and nobody picks up the phone.

We had closed for maintenance and will reopen Monday Jan 9

Is there a private party room Boulevard Cafe? If so, does anyone know how many people can the private room accommodate? Thanks in advance!

Hi Tj, I had a party of thirty people and they sat us at the patio. I know there's another option indoors, but you'll have to reserve and maybe pay a fee also depending on the size of your group. It's best to call and inquire, they're really good at…

They weren't sure where to go, so I quickly yelped bars and this one popped. It wasn't super busy, so we easily grabbed a table. Kinda divey, kinda neighborhoody, and they played good music. Very much my group's style with the old school r&b and hip hop. Drink prices above were reasonable. I got one round and my friend got the other one. Each round averaged 3.5 drinks and about $41.50 each. $52 each with tip. Nice place to hit up if you're it the neighborhood and looking for a night cap of sorts. Music was a little loud, so talking can be a challenge, but we had a good time. REVIEW #3826

I walked in to a thumping beat on a Saturday evening, just killing time, really. The music was unnecessary, or at least unnecessarily loud. It was a small crowd that had nothing better to do on Valentine's night. The bartender and I had to lean towards each other to get my order right. I just had a dirty vodka martini, competently made. Nonfood available, but there was a box of pretzel snacks sitting in the bar, which she handed me. More brightly lit than an ordinary dive bar, but so much more could be done with it.

Only dish I haven't liked is the ravioli, which is average at best in my opinion. (1) when we checked in for our reservation, the hostess acknowledged we needed 2 high chairs as stated in our reservation notes. When we were seated at our table after a short wait, there were no high chairs set up and we had to ask again. (2) for the prime rib entree we asked to sub the mashed potatoes with fries, and we were warned we would be charged $3 extra. I don't understand this, especially when every other single meat entree on their menu includes choice of 2 sides, in which mashed potatoes and french fries are listed as equals!! (3) service was slow, but I understand they are quite busy. Please don't try to nickel and dime customers who are already ordering one of the most expensive items on your menu, by charging $3 to sub an item, when there's no charge to sub it for other dishes.

We went on a Friday night, where they had a very loud band playing in the middle of the restaurant. It seemed the only people enjoying the music were the band members themselves. I mean that with no disrespect, there were the people located next to the band that were covering their ears, outwardly! There were people sitting outside, and as they came inside to leave, I jokingly said they must be from up north, as the outside temperature was 55 degrees with a light drizzle. They stated the only reason they ate outside was because they couldn't hear anything due to the band. It's an extremely loud band and a closed space so the music really echo. Unfortunately there is minimal weight staff. I believe that they spent the money on more servers rather than a band, it would be the best business move. Our server came to get our drink and food order, and then didn't come back until it was time to drop off the check. We had a runner come deliver our food, and they forgot the side salad. But by the time our waitress came, we were ready to leave, so we just asked them to take it off the bill. My mom's patty melt was OK, the meat was very thin compared to the slice of bread. My Long Island with also not great. It tasted like a well drink. I would've given 5 stars if the waitress was able to check in on us after we got our food, if the patty melt had better proportions, and my cocktail tasted a little more flavorful.,
