The Pizza Barn never disappoints! I'm from the Chicago Area (actually NW Indiana) and I'm very picky about my pizza. Every time I've visited it has been absolutely delicious! It's very hard to find great pizza in the west but I've actually found myself craving this pizza. It has plenty of great toppings and a crispy thin crust that crackles when you bite into it. I've also had their calzones. Yum! If pizza isn't your thing they also have a great menu from burgers, sandwiches, pastas, a salad bar and on Saturday night prime rib! I've never had bad service there. There's always been a welcoming smile and a "What can I get for you?" I'd especially like to thank our server Lee. Under new ownership. Probably the worst meal we've ever had. Many salad bar items were empty and had to ask one of the 4 employees who were standing around if they could refill them. The lasagna special was barely warm. Three of us had the 8 oz ribeye steak. They were about 1/3 inch thick and tasted like old char grill debris. There were no prices on the menu so imagine our surprise when the bill showed they were $24 each! The table next to us had a similar experience and stated they wouldn't be coming back. My wife had the pizza and I had a cheeseburger. Both were excellent! Service was outstanding! Servers and staff were very attentive.

Went to order pizza for a party and was able to order online easily enough. However, the restaurant was closed. This information was not on google maps, apple maps, or the website, which allowed me to order. I placed and was charged for the pizza but when I went to pick it up, the open signs were on but nobody was inside and they were definitely not open. read more

We Denver dwellers love to get away from paper straws (there are no sea turtles in CO by the way), kale salad and avocado toast and have some truly classic Western American fare....though we have not tried the amazing looking pizza just yet. We drive through Newcastle just for a visit to this nice Wyoming town and for a great dinner at Pizza Barn. The classic salad bar is my favorite. My husband loves the steaks. I can bet it's not Cisco delivered beef. This is true Wyoming beef. So tender and cooked perfectly. Love the customers and the staff and the Western vibe of this off the beaten path establishment. My family and I were on our way from South Dakota to Yellowstone and saw this place on the map. Such a charming vibe! Smelt amazing when I walked in. We ordered a medium cheese pizza with chicken topping and a side of 3 piece sampler appetizer of jalapeño poppers, pickle fries and mozzarella sticks. Wish we ordered to eat there but had to take it on the road. Would come here again. read more

Well worth the 60 second drive off Hwy 85. I was pleasantly surprised by this gem on the outskirts of town. The Barn has a huge game room, colorful salad bar and serve Wyoming's best beers. I devoured a delicious meat calzone that has me excited to go back. You can tell this place is a favorite among locals. read more

Absolute destination resturaunt. I will drive a thousand miles from Kansas City just to eat here. NYC chef moved to Newcastle and opened this amazing place. Brilliant food, amazing service, great ambiance. One of the best places I have ever had dinner. Worth dropping off the Interstate to go down to Newcastle just for lunch or dinner. Large, well-appointed, I'd imagine you could host a large family event there if you were so inclined. I cannot speak highly enough about this place. read more

Newcastle is a small town on the way to the Black HIlls. If you want to support a local business, as opposed to a franchise, the Pizza Barn is a good choice. Lots of taxidermy on the walls. Salad bar is typical--iceberg, creamy dressings, and various pickles. All you can eat ribs looked great. The pizza is big, decent selection of toppings (heavy on the meat), and the prime rib is very good. Nice staff, Fat Tire on tap. read more

While visiting Newcastle, we had the worst meal in a LONG time here. This was the first place we tried when we got to Newcastle since we foolishly believed the billboard that said it was the best food in Wyoming. It was not the best food on the block, let alone the state. Our waitress was very nice, but there's no getting over the terrible food. I have no idea what was in the "homemade" lasagna, and I'm not sure I want to know, but I forced down about 1/3 of it, chewing on the bouncy mystery meat nuggets and trying not to think about it while hoping it would get better. It didn't. My wife ordered the tortellini, which is the worst she or I had ever tried. It was so lukewarm the shredded cheese on top didn't even melt. There are much better places to eat in Wyoming. Don't bother with Pizza Barn. read more

Best food around! Especially the pizza!!! Tried the "barn mac" and I guess it is their most ordered for a reason... it was delicious! All the food we tried was great! Everything about our dining experience at the pizza barn was wonderful. Newly remodeled inside, friendly staff, great service, lots of choices on their menu, great tasting food and perfect atmosphere. Highly recommend going here. You will not be disappointed! read more

Sure beats franchise pizza. Served by caring, honestly caring townsfolk. Can't believe all the memorabilia decorating outside & inside.

There I was just looking for a place that serves a chunk of meat with a salad. Punched up steakhouse on yelp and they sent me to a pizza place. That's right a pizza place. I hate pizza. But hey it was the only place really listed so off I went to the Pizza Barn. Well folk they do a fair steak comes with a decent salad bar and your choice of spud . Good service and popular with the locals, doing something for veterans and that was nice of them. I will return if the opportunity arises, not traveling far but if I am passing by. Heard the pizza was good... but I hate pizza. read more

We were there on a Wednesday evening. The menu has a lot on it and because of this, the quality of food suffers. Our waitress, Tonia, was frazzled and not very friendly. We had to ask about the buffet and there is not a break in price for kids. We could of saved $50 bucks and eaten somewhere else. read more

Off the main drag, but worth the stop. It's a local hangout and has been there forever. My husband remembered it from when he lived here as a kid, 25+ years ago. Decent pizza and salad bar, good service. read more

This is almost the worst restaurant I'd ever been to the food was so slow I had to whate over an hour and it was so terrible and one time I found a hair in my food they said "it's fine sweety" and people were rude and I wouldn't wish there food on anyone so do not go there read more

This was recommended by a "local" and I wasn't disappointed. Huge selection...pizzas, burgers, Italian, seafood, and "American". Great salad bar and two from scratch soups. Had the lasagna and wasn't disappointed. Friendly people, great service. We'll be back! read more

My toddler and I are big fans of Pizza Barn. It is hard to find pizza we don't like, but coming from NYC, it's also hard to find great pizza around here. We're 80 miles from a city with a population over 5000, and I cook mostly from scratch. Usually when we go out in Newcastle with friends after work I take her to "PizzaBonn". When reflecting on all our blessings at night sometimes she specifically thanks God for "PizzaBonn". The extra cheese and pepperoni would prob have to be my favorite. The sauce is full bodied with a nice blend of spice and the cheese has an excellent texture. I've also had the prime rib and other specials. Even picky eaters should be able to find something to like at the salad bar, where the dressings are home (barn?) made. Staff are efficient yet friendly and the owners give my little one and her little friends lollypops. The atmosphere is warm; both travelers and regulars usually surround us enjoying dinner as well as lively conversations. The taxidermy is somehow comforting. Newly added is an outdoor patio, and there is a large parking area. There is also a large room for parties. Very family friendly, but also appropriate to have a glass of wine and relax with a loved one under atmospheric lighting. read more
