Pulled the sandwich open and saw what little meat I got. For $12.95, I feel a little ripped off. Especially when places like The Broiler and George's Steak and Things offer similar prices with an astoundingly higher meat in the meat to bread ratio. What little of the meat was available was delicious. I wish I had gotten a sub-$13 worth, not barely $7.65. Not sure I could come back. With how much I paid, it felt like a diminished return. And if I did come back, I'd hope the other offerings, like the breakfast sandwich, burger, and pulled pork, offer a better meat-to-bread ratio.

You'll need two slices of seeded or marble rye bread, about six ounces of thinly sliced corned beef or pastrami, two slices of sharp Swiss cheese, roughly a quarter cup of well-drained sauerkraut, and two tablespoons of Russian or Thousand Island dressing. A little butter for toasting the bread and optional spicy brown mustard round it out. That said, what I actually received was the absolute worst Reuben I've ever had in my entire life. They used ham instead of corned beef or pastrami, an insult to the name. The Swiss was bland and low-quality, not sharp at all. There was no mustard, barely any Thousand Island, and I couldn't even detect any sauerkraut. The bread wasn't toasted, and they still charged me $12.50 with tax. If this is what passes for a Reuben at a supposed German delicatessen, save your money and go somewhere that actually knows what they're doing.

Things got worse! After posting my previous review, I was contacted by Sean from management. He was very nice and offered to make things right and reiterated to cover the same free pizza I was previously promised by the manager (Noman?) from this location. I called and placed my order for the free pizza. I decided on ordering a small pizza that I added shrimp, crab meat, Alfredo sauce and scallions to. I came to pick it up. Three gentleman awaited me in the front area. I was asked to check the pizzas to make sure I was satisfied. I noticed the small was missing scallions. I brought this up. And then one of the three gentlemen ask me if I wanted the scallions. I confirmed that I did. In the back area, one of the gentlemen working there was handling boxes, conversing with fellow employee, touching his face. This same gentleman was tasked with cutting the scallions. He cuts the scallions, with no gloves on. As I briefly stared into his general direction, the expression on his face where he looked up at me while cutting, indicated that he felt he was being watched. So he quickly goes and reaches for gloves. After cutting the scallions, he uses gloves to gather the scallions up. I raise my voice and tell him "Excuse me. Please don't put those on my pizza. You were cutting them with no gloves on." One of the other men cuts me off and says "do you want it or not?" I then explain that I do want it, but I tried to explain that my mother and I are immunocompromised and that I can't risk either of us getting sick. The man then tries to explain that the employees don't wear gloves, most of the time. That explanation did not make me feel any safer by the way. Then the same gentleman tells me to move back. He kept repeating to me "sir! Sir! Move back!" Meanwhile, the other gentleman who was cutting the scallions angrily puts gloves on and cuts some scallions on top of the same area with the same scallions from before. Did not sanitize the station before cutting them either. This encounter did not end well, with them shaming me for raising valid points. Then, I tried to contact Sean and left a voice message. I also contacted customer service through the app. Instead of receiving a phone call to make things right, I was shamed over the phone. I spoke with the manager (Noman?) about my experience. He quickly became defensive. Told me "I was there. I saw everything. You are wrong!" Did not want to own up to what happened, at all. He insisted on saying "we give you free pizza and you still angry and complaining? After a few minutes of a stressful phone call before bedtime, I decided to tell him "you know what, if you guys don't want my business, just say that. I won't order from you ever again." He said "okay, good!" And some other stuff but I hung up on him after that, so I'm not sure what else he said. I get it, I used to work at a pizza place. And customers can be frustrating. But at no point, should you ever contact a customer to shame them because you provided poor service. What are they going to do next? Threaten my life? read more
