My family and I stopped in at Pizza Boy to get a bite because we were walking by and pizza sounded good. To our surprise their thin crust pizzas are what a hand-tossed thin crust should be. It was not overly limp, greasy or soggy, but just the right amount of crispy (not dry like a cracker). They had a few more than half a dozen ready-made pizzas to choose from and since we all tried a bite of each other's different pizza slices we agreed that each one was as good as the others. We ended up back at Pizza Boy for the second night and I got the Steak and Cheese sub. It was a good 9" sub with plenty of meat and cheese. Staff is very friendly and it only took about 4 or 5 minutes to get our order. A very valuable find for a quick meal on the boardwalk. read more

The sauce was reasonable however I prefer a more cheesy pizza. This was a good snack later in the evening. As a lover of pizzeria pizza, Pizza Boy has been life changing. The crust has a crisp chewy lightness. The sauce is nice and thin with a pizzeria flavor reminiscent of New York. The cheese is just the right amount. The large 18" pie and pitcher of beer special is a steal! All this plus OCEANFRONT BOARDWARK seating. This is a amust for locals, weekenders, and everyone hitting the boards. I fear telling everyone about it because I worry it will be too popular. Pizza Boy might seem like someone in the crowd while walking on the Boardwalk but it's definitely worth the try! They have a menu with a lot of variety including pizza, salads, subs, burgers, draft beers, etc. The pizza is great while other things, like the cheese steak hoagie and cheeseburger were super filling. Prices are extremely reasonable too. Food is always hot and staff is very friendly. Not to mention they have indoor and outdoor seating. Pizza was very good. A hidden gem on the OC Boardwalk. The wings are fried and then sauced, but you can get them with the sauce on the side. I thought that was a nice touch since they won't split an order to get half one flavor and half another. The slices are huge and filling. The chicken bacon ranch has a breaded chicken on it so if you're expecting grilled chicken, you'll be shocked to see that. read more

Overheard this conversation and think it summarizes my experience at Pizza Boy pretty well. "You guys make a good pie and that's coming from a guy from New York." Just switch out the New York to New Jersey for me. I stopped here since for a quick lunch since it was next to my hotel on a recent trip to Ocean City. The slices were cooked very nicely not burned, not too greasy, cheese was not a mess. The bottom of the slices were also a little crispy too which gave it a nice crunch. Prices were appropriate too. There is outdoor seating which is covered by umbrellas. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to grab a few slices on the Ocean City Boardwalk. read more

Well, nice people, quick service, and all right on the boardwalk. The prices are on the high end but, you are technically paying for the view, convenience, etc. This is home made dough thin pizza with home made sauce. I'm a fan of thin pizza, so they had me there! Pizza Boy definitely became our go to spot while on vacation. It's open 24 hours and we quickly learned it was a place that we could go for a quick bite and not be disappointed. I highly recommend the burger & fries special (burger toppings are free). And their subs are really great too. read more

Pizza Boy is located on the boardwalk near 11th and 12th streets. You order at the take-out window and then sit outside in very tiny booths that barely fit 4 people, but are covered. There were about 15 booths. There is no indoor seating. There are also outside covered picnic tables you can sit at which are slightly larger at the restaurant next door. The menu was your typical pizza restaurant type and adequate with average pricing. You can also buy beer here but not an extensive list. They did have 2 or 3 craft beers on the menu. The wait staff is your "can barely speak English" type that is typical in most of OC, but they did just fine with our orders and everything came out correct. I can't speak about the food we did not eat. We had a plain hamburger, plain pizza, pepperoni pizza, and boardwalk fries. The hamburger was average tasting at best and could use perhaps a better quality meat. It was a fairly big hamburger though being a double patty. The pizza was average at best also. I have had three other pizzas on the boardwalk that I thought were better and at least one just off the boardwalk (and some that were worse too). I eat a lot of pizza and always try new places. The crust was probably below average and about medium thickness. Basically, I can say no more except "average." I would give this place 2.5 stars (average) if I could. The fries were somewhat soggy and not the best. They are boardwalk fries so will have the skin on (not everyone likes that). They tasted Ok though and not bad. They need to be cooked to a more crispy consistency maybe. I would say they were average for boardwalk type fries. For once I would like to see a shore place offer hot crinkle cut fries cooked in very high temp peanut oil to crispiness, but not dark! You can't find that at the various ocean boardwalks anywhere. To sum up, if you are near this place and hungry it will do just fine but there are better places on the boardwalk for pizza, and probably hamburgers and fries, if you can seek them out, although you may not be able to get great versions of all three at the same establishment. read more

Yum! Truly didn't expect much of a walk up window but we were hungry after hours on the beach. I got pizza and my husband got a buffalo chicken wrap and fries to go. Did I say, yum! I've been going to this pizza place for as long as I can remember and I would argue that it is the best pizza I've ever eaten. They are always baked to perfection with amazing topping choices. And afterwards, head next door for a yummy treat from Julia's! The two stores are owned by the same family and they are the kindest, hardest working people who really care about the products and the service they provide!! Theres about a million of options avaible on the board walk but this place is the spot to be at and to get your food at. There are about million avaible options to pick between pizza boy menu board and the wall full of there specials so i know it can get overwhelming but you camt go wrong with this place.they are places on 11th street right beside brass balls but they are better then anyone else. I made the venture here based entirely on the Yelp reviews and in an effort to find some good pizza. I'm not sure how they got such good reviews for their pizza, but I am not a fan at all. I got two slices: one cheese and one pepperoni. The entire crust on both slices were thin and crispy, bordering on slightly overcooked. The slice with pepperoni was a little greasier than I like (dripped a lot when folded) and both slices didn't have a ton of flavor. The service was good, the prices were okay, and they MAY be better with their other selections or fresh whole pizza pies, I just can't say their "by-the-slice" offerings were good at all. read more
