Kris showed us the selection of pizza available by the slice. He was very friendly. First rate pizza with crispy crust, one of the best tomato sauces I've ever had. I had a slice of the mushroom pizza and was just wowed at the first bite!

I wasn't feeling pizza but when I heard an order of "Corndog!" being called, my ears perked up like our dogs when they see their food bowls coming. ATMOSPHERE: They're a takeout stand along the Ocean City Boardwalk. Outdoor seating is shared with neighboring Julia's Ice Cream. MENU: Salads, burgers, pizza. subs, corn dog, wraps. FOOD: Corn Dog - $8.20 Our local county fair has been canceled for the past three years due to the pandemic, so it's been a while since I've had a corn dog, or Pronto Pup as they're called back home. This recipe was good; served hot with a creamy and not overly oily batter with a meaty dog inside. Drizzled on ketchup and mustard and I was good to go! My mouth is watering as I write this review, LOL. Pepperoni Pizza The spouse got a slice and thoroughly enjoyed it, all while moaning with pleasure and commenting how we can't get pizza like this back home. I had a nibble and agreed! SERVICE: Staff were friendly. Order time took about 5 minutes. OVERALL: Sure hit the spot!

1/2 pepperoni/cheese. Super flavor!! And we were carry out and drove to 77th street! Still hot.

I have to give Pizza Boy 5 stars. We ordered carry out and drove to the boardwalk to pick up. Everyone was so nice and the place was hopping. Even after we drove home and ran up all the stairs to the condo, we unveiled a still hot sweet looking dinner spread. Something for everyone, and then some. Mozzarella sticks, cheesesteaks, French fries, chicken tenders, Buffalo wings, onion rings and a 1/2 pepperoni/cheese pizza. We set up and watched the All-stars game grabbing our bites hand over fists. *The pizza was superb and my daughter raved about her cheesesteak. We all had some great family fun for dinner because of the Total Yums that Pizza Boy showered on us! Healthy? Not really. Family fun greasy goodness? Hell yeah! I'll remember this spot.

We dined with friends who had some issues with their food, but to keep things fair, I'm scoring this strictly from my own experience. We arrived at 5pm and were able to take advantage of the happy hour menu. The food came out fast and had great flavor. The mussels were my favorite dish of the night. The white wine garlic butter gave them an amazing taste that left me wanting more, and they were only $11 for Happy Hour instead of the regular $15. We also ordered the crab dip for $11, normally priced at $15. I loved the dip itself, but the Old Bay toast wasn't my favorite. I enjoy Old Bay, but it didn't feel necessary here. The Baha Mahi‑Mahi was fresh, and my wife's Angus New York strip was cooked exactly how she likes it. Somehow I forgot to take a picture of her dish. I would personally come back, but my friends said they wouldn't, which is a bummer. With a score of 24 out of 25, I'm giving this restaurant an A.

The restaurant was mostly empty so this was a mostly locals happy hour crowd for sure. Regular customer next to me pronounced the seasoned bartender the greatest of all time. We ordered a couple of house margaritas ($6.50) which came in a pint glass and were plenty strong. Only needed one of those! First up, crab dip. It came in a massive vessel, bubbling hot and lots of bread. This dish was so large I ate the leftovers three times. Big chunks of crab in a standard rich base. I brought rice crackers, but husband liked this plain bread better than the oily garlic toast that accompanied the mussels. Mussels were a big pile, with toast, in a mild broth. Not spectacular but a solid presentation. And finally, the boiled shrimp with old bay. Burning our fingers in our eagerness to peel and eat these babies, we got our fill for $10. Their cocktail sauce had an excellent texture, better than just ketchup and horseradish like some bars. Anyway, nice job and very economical! Bartender seemed disappointed we didn't need refills on drinks, but tomorrow is another day! Thanks for the hospitality, Coins!

I usually can only tolerate Buxy's for one drink and have to leave because of the sensory overload. The sensory overload is a combination of the loud background noise, bright lights, and intense visual stimuli. (Including pics) LOL My friend and I went B4 the OC parade , and b4 the " after parade party" started with the live band , and it was relatively laid back. We shared the " corned beef Primanti " on sour dough , which was surprisingly good. The menu did say it was thick cut brisket , the more tender corned beef is the "point cut" . The meat was a bit tough and chewy so I cut it up into small pieces and it was much better. I removed the fries so the bread didn't get soggy , and kept the coleslaw and we both agreed this was a really good sandwich. I definitely want to come back again and try more of "Burgh food " items like the pierogis, Pittsburgh salad, and kielbasa but in the OFF peak hours .

We always order two for the table, but this year they were burnt and had very few toppings with almost no cilantro crema. Please see the photo for the side‑by‑side comparison. My son also looks forward to the chocolate milkshake every summer, but the machine was reportedly down for the next hour. I understand that things happen, but it added to an already disappointing food experience. Several people in our group ordered chicken sandwiches and said the chicken was extremely chewy. None of them finished their meal. Brass Balls, I truly hope this is not the new norm. With so many dining options, this is the quickest way to lose loyal customers. Our main motivation for visiting was to see Jordan and Cowan, both of whom previously worked at Off The Hook in Bethany Beach. Jordan noticed us first and came over to say hello and share an update, and Cowan followed shortly after to do the same. I enjoyed two Sazeracs on the rocks for $10 each; unique to Hooked, this iconic New Orleans cocktail is a spirit-forward blend of Elijah Craig rye whiskey, aromatic bitters, a sugar cube, and an absinthe rinse, finished with a bright lemon twist. We also shared the happy hour wood-fired grilled oysters Reggiano with butter, garlic, blackening parmesan cheese, and salt for $19, though they tasted very salty. Additionally, I had the happy hour lobster roll on a toasted buttered brioche roll for $21, substituting the french fries with a side of coleslaw. It tasted quite similar to the lobster roll at Off The Hook in Bethany Beach. I finished my meal with a happy hour draft Evo Lot 3 beer for $6. Our bartender, Jon L., served us very well throughout the visit. The total bill was $128 excluding gratuity, which featured a 3% credit card surcharge of $3.57. After applying a $50 gift letter discount, the final bill was reduced down to $81. We all agreed that we will certainly return to visit Jordan and Cowan again.
