Waited 20 mins at the bar without being greeted. That a couple flagged down the manager to let her know I was able to order a mimosa The bartender then came afterwards acting lost. Restaurant wasn't busy at all . They would not have survived the busy hustle of NY/NJ. I had to flag the manager to put in my order I'm still sitting at the bar. This food better be fucking worth it I'll come back to this review in a few mins to chat about the food. It's now 11:14 ( I came in at 10:28 but because of the wait, I decided to order lunch instead of breakfast) . Manager didn't know what the soup of the day was, nor was it written on their board in the back. She returned and said that there wasn't a soup of the day. ...it's now 11:28..food arrives...Crab dip )with a side of day old bread) was a bit weird with unknown items inside . Banging shrimp has a mediocre bang to it. I ordered the crab cake meal and the crab cake sandwich came out The worst "upscale" meal/experience ever. The waiter brings the bill and said some of my drinks were taken cared of (I ordered two in total) and instead only one was removed. Waste of fucking time and money. Manager was as clueless as ever Also chef came out and was making drinks. Wonder if that's why the food sucked

I was in town for a business trip and decided to stop in here for the happy hour -- largely because they advertised some specials that looked tasty. Parking wasn't too bad since it was off-season but I can imagine in season it's probably a challenge. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the hotel. I was greeted and seated quickly, with a nice partial view of the ocean. I decided to try the local clam selection -- they had two kinds + a special on from Connecticut. I got one of each and enjoyed all of them - they were fresh and tasty. One of the local ones was particularly salty so it was my least favorite, but all of them were good. Then I got the she-crab soup, and O. M. G! This was perhaps the BEST she-crab soup I have ever had in my life. Bursting with crab meat, perfect blend of spices and sherry. The only thing I would have changed is maybe upping the game with some oyster crackers -- they served it with those regular Keebler saltine cracker sides, which was okay, but elevating the cracker game just a bit would make a world of difference. I was only going to get a cup, but the happy hour price for the bowl is the same, so I had extra to take with me and eat later. I took a look at the dinner menu - and it seemed a bit too pricey for me, and I have trouble with super large portions of food, which is why I wanted to try out the happy hour. I was not disappointed and if I'm every in Ocean City again, I will be coming back for that soup!

Located in the Doubletree by Hilton on the 2nd floor Marlin Moon is worth a visit! We started with the Calamari served with creamy pesto and marinara sauce and 1/2 dozen oysters . Both apps were presented and plated beautifully with impeccable service from Amalia and Nick. The calamari was both tender and delicious and the oysters were briny and salty! I had the Pittsburgh salad and the rib eye had so much flavor and was cooked perfectly, The caramelized onions , blue cheese crumble, and french fries made this salad. I love a salad with each bite giving some kind of surprising combination of flavor. The creamy vinaigrette spiked with A-1 so complimented the salad. My friend got a " Po Boy " with hand breaded shrimp with Cajun remoulade, she said the sandwich was good! Hammerhead on tap from Oyster Brewery so good! Surprised with negative reviews on Yelp the food was delicious and service was over the top!

Food: very good Service: very good Ambience: its ok Actually when we come in ambience made us a bit down. But no, it was ok, locals also coming to the place! That mean is pretty good place! We like the Barb who served us. She was, kind, fast and helpful... And there is a car parking which is veeeerry important for this season!

The portion sizes were huge and the food my group ordered was all very well seasoned and flavorful. My omelet was gigantic! But the food took a long time to come out, and the restaurant was very understaffed for a busy holiday week. We wanted to leave but couldn't because there was only one waitress doing everything.

This was a cute restaurant on the second floor of a Double Tree hotel. There is dedicated parking for the restaurant so easy parking even if you're not staying there. Our server was friendly and was reachable whenever we needed something and also helped us with our questions on the menu. We came here for dinner to celebrate a special family occasion and had a good time. The food was a tad pricey for the portions but maybe I was extra hungry. Everything did taste good - particularly the lobster!

Roasted beet salad--red & yellow beets, herb pesto, micro greens, goat cheese, candied pecans

Excellent meal, freshly prepared & served quickly. Intimate setting w/outdoor deck seating w/side ocean view. Mocktail & cocktail were beautifully accented & so flavorful. Shrimp were succulent & meaty, scallops tender & moist w/tasty sauce--this app we shared. Crab soup delish (for him). I had sesame tuna wontons--perfectly rare tuna & savory/spicy sauces w/crispy wontons. Garden side salad was so fresh--Bleu cheese crumbles elevated flavor profile along w/tangy, sweet honey-mustard dressing. He had roasted beet salad--beets were so sweet & tender, nice micro greens w/goat cheese crumbles & candied pecans (perfect pairing of savory & sweet). I had my bumbleberry pie to go; it was flavorful, however, the crust was too soft. I tasted his French silk pie & that was a disappointment--more like a fudge concoction straight out of the fridge--not true French Silk. Hostess & servers were very attentive--made sure we made it out in time for our theater show @ OC Performing Arts Ctr. This is my 2nd visit to this restaurant & I definitely plan to revisit whenever I'm back at the beach!

Food was very good came out pretty quickly. We had the crab cake and she crab soup. Both were very good we will make a point to stay and eat here again.

Ambiance is beach comfort. The Pittsburgh salad was great! Seafood pasta was excellent. My husband was not impressed with his steak it was cooked to perfection and beautifully plated with perfectly cooked asparagus and yummy creamy garlic mashed potatoes but the steak lacked seasoning. Service was and bottle of Red Zinfandel were exceptional.

Now, 50 years later, Phillips is gone and many establishments advertise their Crabs as the best in OC. Having not been here since 2012, I need to scour the reviews to find where we could get the best take out seafood especially Maryland Crabs. Lo and behold, just steps away from our Courtyard Marriott is the Crab Stop. It's before season so many places are still closed but the Owner answered when I called, had a great sense of humor, and happily took my order for a designated pick up time. We arrived 10 minutes early and they had just completed the order, packed it up, and we were out the door in minutes. This is a Father/Son establishment. Dave (?) the Father is 85 and his son Tom (?) run this fine eatery. It's built for take out and there is no disappointment. We ordered 6 large crabs, 1# of Lump Crab and 2 ears of corn. Within minutes our table was covered with crab, crab shells, Old Bay, and we savored every minute of the delicious fresh sweet crab meat. Look no further than Crab Stop to enjoy the best crabs that OC has to offer and the friendliness and service of these two gentlemen.

Operating out of a building that has served as Ocean City's oldest continually operating sub shop location since circa 1950, it officially opened as Belly Busters Seafood and Deli in 1985 under owner Scott and his family. The Food & Standout Dishes Steamed Crabs: True to its coastal roots, Belly Busters sources heavy, fat blue crabs from Maryland waters when in season (and top regional bayous off-season). Steamed to order with heavy Old Bay seasoning, they're available for dine-in or via their popular local crab delivery service. Blackened Mahi & Fish Tacos: Among their most famous specialties, the fish tacos feature blackened or fried fish piled high with house-made pico de gallo, fresh cabbage, New York spicy cheddar, and a signature cream sauce. The blackened mahi tacos in particular are a fan favorite for their bold Cajun kick. Overstuffed Sandwiches & Subs: True to its name, the portion sizes are huge. Rob and Rose greeted and welcomed us. We ordered the Medium steamed Crabs, Crab Cake Sandwich, Crab Bisque, corn on the cob and Hush Puppies. Wow! What a treat so early in the season. The Bisque was excellent. It's not too spicy but they give you extra seasoning and spice to add according to your personal taste. The Crab Cake was just as advertised. No filler, fresh Crab, Eastern Shore style and delicious. The medium crabs were very good. Some establishments would be seeking them as Large. They were seasoned and steamed perfectly. Heavy and sweet. The sides; Corn on the Cob, steamed in the Husk was very good and the Hush Puppies were a perfect pairing. My apologies for lack of pictures, we ate most everything before I started taking pictures. Rob and Rose were very attentive. They told us their story and shared a scrap book of their off season home in New Mexico. They were in the process of training and orienting their summer staff while we enjoyed our meal. The attention to detail, customer first, quality service and passion for excellent food was on full display. The dining is beach rustic and perfect. There's a good amount of parking and it's easy to find them right along coastal highway. What initially seemed like a disappointment today turned into a wonderful discovery of a new favorite. On The Bay Seafood is a must try if you're at the shore this year.

We ordered the seafood combo that included six hard-shell crabs, three pounds of snow crab legs, a half-pound of shrimp, corn, and hush puppies. The hard-shell crabs were decent, although they seemed slightly oversteamed. The meat in the legs was practically fused to the shell, making them difficult to eat. The snow crab legs were good, but the shrimp were noticeably undercooked, which made peeling them nearly impossible. There were a few bright spots. The beer was reasonably priced at $4.50 a pint, and the hush puppies were excellent--arguably the best part of the entire meal. The corn, however, was tough and seemed past its prime. For the roughly $145 we spent on the combo, I expected a better overall dining experience. Sadly, this seems to be the standard at many seafood restaurants these days: higher prices without a corresponding increase in quality. And while it's a minor issue compared to the food, the deck seating chairs were surprisingly uncomfortable and felt out of place for a restaurant charging these prices. Overall, the meal wasn't terrible, but it fell well short of expectations given the cost.
