Tried wings from Pizza Boys during a charity Battle of the Wings event and loved their Dubai Chocolate Wings which earned them an award. Heard the year before they did a PB&J wing and knew that we had to try. Went on Wing Wednesday by happenstance ... Wings are .95 which is a great deal..they had a live band in the bar area but chose counter service instead. Wings came out quick and hot. The PBJ wings lived up to all the hype. After having wings at their restaurant I see why they have won awards for several years. Wings were tender, crispy, and the sauce was amazing. With it being Wing Wednesday and live entertainment it was rather crowed. This is your typical wing and pizza joint nothing fancy or stuff but a great casual place for a night out. Haven't tried their Pizza yet but that is next up on our list. read more

Orders the meatballs, 3 slices, and garlic knots with marinara. The meatballs were lukewarm and you could tell that they were frozen. The knots and marinara were cold - like, legit cold. It might be time to retire the old man in the back. I came in this afternoon to pick up my order...no problems with the order or those at the counter. While waiting, I hear "fat f------ b---- from the back. I know not directed at me, but there were quite a few people waiting as well as sitting at a nearby table with a couple of kids who heard it. The girls in the front were mortified, but also looked like "here we go again.". If your food is average, you need to make sure your customer service and behavior of those who work there or own it is better than the food. I don't care who said it. Considering there are plenty of other options, I won't be headed to Pizza Boys again. read more

I've ordered from Pizza Boys in the past when staying in town (hotel) for work. This order was scheduled for 6:30-6:50pm. I asked for it to be brought to my room, rather than dropped at the front desk so I could give a cash tip to the delivery person. The status of my order went from delayed to arrived and I never even got a knock on the door. I opened the door around 7:10pm and it was sitting on the floor in the hallway. I feel bad the delivery person didn't get a tip for their efforts however they obviously didn't care enough to knock and confirm that I even got the food. It was just weird. read more

Pizza Boys is a pub style restaurant. They have great prices and a pretty big menu for a pizza place. I often visit with a group and the large pub style tables give us plenty of room to sit together. There is something on the menu for everyone.and the staff is always kind about explaining items on the menu. Some of the favorites when we visit are "The Boom Boom Chicken Sandwich", "10"personal pizzas", "Greens", "Garlic Knots","Wings", "Steak and Cheddar Melt" but they have many more options and a bar if you want some after dinner drinks. read more

Just had a great fish fry for dinner tonight! Unfortunately we were all starving when the food came so I didn't get any pics but let me try to describe the absolute amazingness that was delivered. We orders 3 fish fries and could have totally been good with 2 to satisfy the 3 of us. The were a bazillion fries. We got regular and curly fries. OMG!!!! The curly fries were beyond delicious. They were crispy and tasty and the best! The regular fries weren't too shabby either. On to the fish! It was still piping hot when it was delivered and super crispy!!! I could not believe hot and crispy it was for being a delivery too! The fish wasn't dry either it was cooked to perfection. The meal also came with a large tartar sauce (I ordered 3 extras) and I definitely did not need them. The coleslaw was we got too and the garlic bread was a great touch! This is my favvvvoooorriiitteeee pizza place. They have such delicious pizza. And their wings!! ARE THE BOMB. I always get the everything wings and bbq wings. They drench them in sauce, and their sauce is sooooo good. They have so many specials throughout the week. Monday is 1/2 priced boneless wings (my fav), Tuesday $1 slices all day, Wednesday 60 cent chicken wings, Thursday $8.50 chicken riggies, Friday $6 fish subs!!!! They also have printable coupons on their website!!! All of the employees are super nice. They have a bar and plenty of seating inside. This place is AMAZING! Not only was the food delicious (Their wings, pizza and specialty salads are phenomenal!) and the prices very reasonable, the staff was also very accommodating to our large group. We had let them know we would be coming there after the American Heart Walk this past weekend and they had three large tables waiting for us when we arrived! We also found being able to order ahead online worked wonderfully for those of us pressed for time. (Others ordered when they arrived and also found their orders were filled in a timely manner.) Pretty good. Large portion sizes, inexpensive. Heavy food though. I got the chicken riggies (which I know to be a local favorite) with extra meatballs. The chicken riggies was pretty tasty but somewhat dripping in oil (I guess that's the cheese). However, the pasta (penne instead of rigatoni) was cooked well and the flavor was balanced. My daughter ordered wings from Pizza Boys and when she got home she found a steak knife pointy end out one inch from the foil. She didn't cut herself or anything but she was quite taken aback and felt a bit unnerved. I can see how this could accidentally happen, although I don't know why a knife would be near an order of wings. I called the store to let them know and Since there was no manager on duty at the time they took my phone number and they were going to have her call me back . I never got the call, so I called the second time same thing.. although I did tell the person who answered what had happened. I went into the store twice asking for the manager and there was no manager there and the owner was not there. At this point, the knife itself is not a big deal, but the lack of concern for a customer calling about a problem is very concerning . It feels like nobody wants to take accountability for the problem. It would've been irresponsible of me to not let them know this happened. I have had the chicken riggies on Thursdays when it is a special price. They always make it perfect - not too hot or too mild (I always order it that way). It comes with garlic bread and a side salad with your choice of dressing. The container is large so you have enough for a least 2 servings. I find the staff very friendly. My friend got a calzone as well which was very similar with a lack of meat, however his was burnt and black on the bottom. Needed a quick place to eat and many restaurants are closed or open late on Sundays in Utica. Pizza Boys seemed like it'd be good option for kids and adults, so we decided to check it. Went in and tried to place an order at the counter. The guy at the register was on some sort of service call and barely took our order. Another employee came in late and there was some cursing and explaining going on. From the kitchen I could hear more F words and cursing about workplace drama. My kids were with me and I did not appreciate the plethora of curse words that they heard. Even if I didn't have to experience that, I still probably wouldn't come back. I'd be back. Pizza Boys to me was your regular pizza joint. They do NY-style pizza pretty good. There's nothing incredible about it, but it's just GOOD standard pizza. Our party ordered wings, garlic knots and 2 pizzas. The pizzas were good and everyone ate it. They are the thinner style. Good proportion of sauce, cheese and toppings, and the dough was fully cooked through. I was told that the wings were really good also. Unfortunately, we left the restaurant before noticing the restaurant forgot to pack our garlic knots. They have a bar inside and have some craft beer on draft. read more

It's already a shame and disgusting that I've seen and herd employees talking about roaches in the back and on the wall visible from the register if you pay attention. But in addition to that, my friend worked there and she told me all about how they would drop food in their cooler or on their line and pick it up and say they aren't allowed to waste anything. I was also told about the wings smelling rotten and having an off color, but they were told to make them anyway. I've heard so many awful things that would blow anyone awa, but the reason I'm even writing a review is the customer service. The other day, I was ordering while I was waiting for my friend to get off work and had a misunderstanding with the kind of sauce I wanted and after I paid and went to sit down and wait I hear the short skinny girl with piercings in her face day "what a dumb b****".
