I was driving back to CT and was looking for a pizza joint to grab a quick bite. I looked at the Google reviews and they were solid so I decided to give it a try. It is a not a pretentious place, it is a nice local pizza place, nothing too fancy (except the TV that was huge) and the girls and the dude at the pizza oven were super nice. I got a cheese and a sausage slice and it was pretty good, thicker slice type. They had this crazy deal a 2 liter soda plus a large cheese for like $16. That's so cheap. If I was living in town this will be my weekly go to. Again I thought the pizza was good, was it the best I ever had? no. Did it do the job and was tasty? Hell yes. If I ever drive by again, would get off the highway to stop by and get a quick bite, absolutely. read more

Stopped in here for some lunch. Smelled great when I walked in. I ordered 2 slices. One upside down and one cheese. If you like thin Neapolitan style this place may not be for you. The pizza is on the thicker side but not too doughy. I'm not sure why but I enjoyed the upside down piece better than the cheese. The sauce was nice and overall just seemed to taste better. Pizza went south. Crust was soggy and under cooked even asking for it crispy. They over sauce the hell out of the pizza so ask for light sauce or your cheese will slide of the dough quickly. Been here a few times and this place lacks consistency. read more

on 10/25/20 we ordered a pizza & meatball sub When we got home the whole order was completely burnt. I called the following day, they were closed. I called 10/27/20 the manager said he would completely reimburse our card with the 29.61. I called again on 11/4/20 spoke to a manager who told me that reimbursement was impossible. That the person I had talked to must have misunderstood. I said "no, he repeated to me that he was going to do ,reimburse the card" All I got after that was excuses , trying to confuse dates, denying what I was told, who did I talk to , etc. We travel 1 hr to get there & return home. We've been going there for over 10yrs. Now we find out not only did we pay 29.61 for a burnt order, we were lied to. How sad to find out that a business you've been dealing with can no longer be trusted. read more

Incredibly inconsistent, I ordered Riggies last week and they were very good. I ordered them again today and they were terrible. The pasta was undercooked and there was very little sauce at all, it was very dry. I can't remain a customer if this doesnt improve. read more

Pizza and wings are always good. Service is horrendous nothing like ordering pizza and wings and being told a pick up time only to to get there and wait another 30 min for your wings. It's not rocket science. Figure out how to manage your orders or you will loose many customers. read more

We love the food, can not tell you the hundred's of dollars spent here. NO MORE, we had a pizza delivered to the wrong address and they still thought I should take it after it had been in a "bar". Then our sub was wrong, very nice called and credited us a new one, new one was WRONG too! Then we spent over $50 dollars and our pizza showed up uncut! When we called and questioned what has been going on for the last few months we were met with rudeness! We have not gone back and no plans to again. Darn shame because the food is good, but can't be treated like this time and time again. :( My husband is in Food Service and it is unacceptable to talk to the customer the way he was spoken too! read more

Was up in Utica for the weekend and had to stop in for my fix of tomato pie, wings, and garlic pizza. This has got to be one of the best places for tomato pie and garlic pizza in town. Every family event growing up involved pizza and wings from Franco's so maybe I'm biased, but it's one of the best in my opinion. I'm not able to get tomato pie or garlic pizza in the south so I always have to stop here at least once when I'm in town. read more

I travel out to the Utica area almost once per month and I have been coming to this restaurant every time I'm here mainly for the buffalo style chicken wings I get them extra crispy extra wet and hot, they come out every time very very crispy more than wet, plenty of sauce! ranch is good the food is consistent it does take a little bit of time but for the extra crispy, you'll wait anywhere for extra crispy. Food is okay. Nothing special. The online menu says one price on some items but when you get to the store its another price. Menu does state that prices may change, but they dont update them ever so you end up being charged more than the online menu states. Meh. Not so impressed. read more

Price went up way too much. Extremely skimpy on the wing sause and Pisa sause. Franco's used to be my favorite place for pizza and wings, but not anymore. This has become our go to pizza place after trying many other places locals had suggested. The staff, although always extremely busy, has always been nice. We love the pizza when it is made like it is supposed to be. We have noticed a slip in consistency lately - pizza dough flat and dense, over cooked, toppings not consistent on pizza...... Used to be the bomb, always craved their pizza. Now the pizza continues to go down hill. Pizza has either burnt cheese, or large patches without cheese. Sometimes there is a combination of both. In order to get tolerable pizza you have to go there and eat. Do not order Pizza for delivery. Also they have watered down there sauce for the hot wings. I always tell m self never again, but then I'm like maybe I might get lucky. Chicken fingers could be better if they changed there grease more often. Subs are still good though, just avoid ordering pizza for delivery. Oh and one more thing, if you order pepperoni on the pizza, it's like they took a hand full and just through it all on there. No orderly fashion just large clumps of pepperoni, like they want to give you a heart attack. If there trying to save money, put the pepperoni on the pizza spaced out, not clumped up in various spots. I am praying for them to go back to the way they used to be, then I also wouldn't mind the outrageous new prices. read more
