We were visiting from Florida and didn't know where a good place to eat was so we asked a local law enforcement guy we saw and first he said at home was the best place to eat then he said his next go to place was pizza bros ... we decided to give it a try and i am so glad we did it was delicious the crust is super thin and crispy and was just amazing and different from our normal pizza . The pizza is very good if you are looking for a NY style pizza. Parking is horrible at the Broad St location. They hire young females for the counter. They are horrible at customer service. My last two experiences were awful. At the Broad street location there was several of us waiting for pickups. They proceeded to flirt with one of the young men waiting and offered him a drink while ignoring the other three customers. I had to wait 20 minutes past time told it would be ready. I called the Cherokee location the other day and specifically said I wanted to order a large meatballl pizza. When I arrived and paid they brought me a meatball sandwich. Then they acted all confused when I said it was a pizza that I order. They then rushed a pizza that took 15 minutes but charged me for that too while taking the sandwich back. Horrible service they should have not charged for pizza and then charged me for a sandwich that I never ordered and did not receive. They need to hire counter staff with brains and teach them customer service when there are problems with an order. I will never use them again and will spread the word to others. Mistakes happen, however it is the way you handle that counts. read more

Good pizza cannot overcome the bad service. I've eaten here regularly since it opened. The service has never been great but I overlooked it since they are locally owned. I can't do it anymore. Name a mistake and they've made it: didn't take my order, got my order wrong, or the time I paid for carryout and they didn't actually cook the pizzas. They also told me they didn't know how to refund it. They have a low view of customers as manifested by the poor quality of their service. read more

I had been to the original Pizza Bros. before the plandemic began, and it was pretty darned good - and that's coming from a former NYC girl who knows good pizza! I was eager to try the new one, so a friend and I went there for lunch. First of all, the restaurant itself is totally different from the original Pizza Bros. Whereas that one is quite small and has a rather cozy atmosphere, this one is large and reminiscent of a warehouse. Not a big deal - we were there for the pizza, not the décor! As an appetizer we ordered the Doughboiz, as we were looking forward to comparing them to the excellent garlic knots at Home Slice and Provino's. In a word - meh! The menu calls them "little puffy bread bites," but they reminded me of when I made something similar myself many years ago, and the yeast wasn't fresh so they never rose. Puffy they weren't, and the taste was disappointing - totally bland. I ended up taking them home for my dog as they just weren't worth the calories (or the $6 cost). We ordered the New Yorker and requested basil be added. The waitress asked if we wanted dried or fresh basil, and we chose, of course, the fresh. The pie was brought to us, and it was OK - the crust was good, but for a $19 pizza the toppings were rather chintzy. The bill came, and on it was a surprise - $2 for the basil! I questioned it, and the waitress informed us that the dried basil was free, but the fresh wasn't. Well, as the menu clearly states "Basil and Oregano - No Additional Cost." It doesn't differentiate between fresh and dried, and "fresh basil" is listed nowhere on the list of veggies that can be added to a pie. She should have pointed out that there would be an additional charge when we requested it, since the menu doesn't specify that. To her credit she did remove the charge when I complained about $2 for a few measly slivers of basil leaves. Yes, it's only $2, but it's a tough economy and even more upsetting it's bait & switch which is DISHONEST! That alone is enough to make me avoid returning. read more

I would put Zero stars but I can't. First I was charged twice for my online order. One I paid online then they made me sign when I got there. Didn't notice till my bank app showed I was charged twice, same amount, same day, and from the same place. Second is that they wasn't really friend and gave 2shits about anyone ordering take out or picking up. Third they let my order sit at the window, and just kept talking sitting or eating at the front desk. Fourth was they got our order wrong with missing ingredients I have chosen. Which wasn't even much. Pizza was slightly cold already but I was just over it that I just took my food and left. I would not go to this location again. And I'm working on getting my refund for them charging me twice for the same order. I hope they refund me cause if they don't. I hate to say this but I'm extremely disappointed with our first visit to the new location.. My wife and I love Pizza Bros in north shore and visit frequently, with her family in town we figured we would treat them to the new location and see it for ourselves finally. It was a Friday night but overall didn't seem too busy, we walked in the front door and were told at the host stand we could seat ourselves on the patio outside and they would be right with us. We sat outside at a table for 15 mins with no one bringing menus/waters/or even acknowledging us. There were other tables around us that had one server taking care of them but even when we politely asked her if we could get some menus she said yes, walked off and then proceeded to not make eye contact with us again. A bus boy came out and placed menus on an empty table beside us but failed to even offer us any. I'm not sure what the situation was with the service and I understand being busy but after waiting outside for a total of 35 mins with not even being told we'd be taken care of soon we decided to leave and find somewhere else to eat. Overall I'm just very disappointed with how the situation played out and would hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more
