Fabulous! The crust is very nice!

Always a pleasure to eat here! Very good crust with generous toppings! Highly recommended! Nothing fancy but the food is great!

Family business in same location for 50 years says a lot! I've been coming here for 20 years and they consistently deliver quality homemade food each and every time. No fussy menu with fancy items, just simple honest food. No waitstaff but plenty of cozy seating. Super nice owners, friendly staff, low prices. Fresh homemade meatballs in the subs. The sauce is delicious. Do yourself a favor and try the Hot Oven Grinder! www.pizzabymichael.com My 3 fussy kiddos LOVE this place -they get their chocolate milk & pizza fix here!

I may be labeled a pizza snob when people see I lived in NY for a decade, but I grew up in Portland. I spent my summers on OOB pizza like a great many of us did. Given the plethora of choices, I had managed to never come here before. Out for a family drive on dad's day off, we needed eats after a stressful experience. I wanted pizza so Yelp lead us here. The pizza itself was not bad. We got the correct food, as ordered. The staff was nice and the shop was clean. The mushroom (for the spouse who loves them) was declared unremarkable and slightly oily in an after taste way she didn't find grand. My extra cheese was indeed cheese loaded. For me this crust resembles pier slices. It is a tad more doughy and yes, more oil is obviously there. It is edible, it is not offensive, it was made properly and cooked all the way as it should be. A 10in small is a healthy "personal" serving and I did eat all of mine. Is there better pizza? Probably, but since all taste is subjective to the person eating it, this is certainly acceptable for the cost and quality of what you get. It is a neighborhood place and my only wish is that they offered by the slice instead of just pies. No other complaints.

Visited Portland for the long weekend and stumbled on this pizza place by accident. It was pouring outside so we ordered a basic large cheese and ate at one of the tables. Clean establishment, pizza came out quick, and it tasted pretty good too.

In the midst of COVID, a lot of places around here have been closing early so this was a happy mistake that we stumbled upon this pizza! We got a take out large pizza that was delicious! The crust was good, not too dry but not undercooked either! We were also very happy with the amount of toppings on the pizza. From the outside, it looked like a little hole in the wall, but my husband said it was quite pleasant inside when he went inside to pick it up. We would definitely order here again!

Wowza! Quaint little shop with super friendly staff and amazing pizza. We stopped in due to other Yelp reviews and we were not disappointed. If you're in the area give them a try

Best pizza in the area hands down. I wished they offered some sort of delivery options however.

If you like pizza heavily dosed with basil, you might like this pizza. Same recipe for at least 40 years I'm guessing!

Ahh, the sign of a butchers cleaver. I am not sure what this provokes in most people, but as I've…read moresaid before, Stephen King gives me the heebie-jeebies. So for me, the butcher cleaver represents something tasty--except for when the shmuckabaloos haven't a clue what they are doing. Fortunately, this tasty little joint, Miller's Market up in Gorham, Maine, knows what they're doing! I'd been cruising the highways, riding the coast of Vacationland for some time now, and somehow, someway, ventured a bit further inland. Once I saw the burnt-orange cleaver in the window, I knew I'd have to give it a try and see if these hullabaloos knew what they were doing. I was greeted with a "Hey, how you'rrrr doin'?" The soft, rolling extension on the r made me feel right at home in Maine. Jeezum crow, you Mainers speak funny. But by golly, you are a lovable bunch of hillbilly farmers and fisherfolk. Anywho, I ordered myself a chicken Caesar wrap--wanting to feel nourished, but not to the point of comatose. Salad in a wrap--a genius way to feel healthy. Mind over matter. "Hand-cut fries or hand-cut chips?" the counter guy asked me. Now, I love a fry, but I'm feeling crunchy in these overcast late-April days. I hesitate, and somehow this mind reader behind the counter could sense it. "I can see you want the chips, but you gotta try these fries. Why don't I give you a little of both?" he says to me. Now I'm looking at him cockeyed--just another Mainer who seems to be able to read a man's soul. Well, I am here now--no turning back. And then my eyes widen when I spot a tasty crème soda in the fridge next to the register. My lucky day. Crème soda--the most underrated of all sodas. What's not to love? Creamy and poppy all in the same bottle. This guy seems nice, and I am in no rush, so I say, "Hey, throw it on my tab. I'm going to be a while. After I eat, I'm going to write something!" I pull up a spot without paying and know that there's no expectation to do so--at least not right away. Good ol' Maine courtesy, as good as this blueberry Jalapeño salsa from Pemberton partners, which I can apparently purchase at Millers Market, where it just ain't sangys it's home goodies too. I open up my futuristic-typewriter and get to work on my latest novel, but can't seem to find a single word. I glance at the menu--buffalo chicken pesto sandwich. Hard tellin', not knowin'. Mainers--brilliant folk when it comes to food. Pesto and buffalo sauce! Never had it, but I need it. That's bound to be tasty--as warm buttah' on lobstah. "Hi, I'll take my butter with lobster, please."--how it should be ordered. Dee-EEE --licious. You Mainers are shaking your heads right now, pesto and buffalo is probably a common thing round these parts, from ya? Nope I ain't and the rest of the country is far behind on the trend of the buffalo/pesto combo, I can promise you that. Then my food is brought out to me. It looks tasty--but the fries have me skeptical.... Find out how it all turned out at https://ryanccurtis.com/blog/timeless-fries-at-millers-market/n19c63

Busy day running around and I was STARVING! While in Gorham, my wife suggested Miller's Market. At…read morefirst, I was put off by the atrocious parking, but what else could I expect in down town? This place definitely gives "butcher" and "market" vibes, which was expected. Indoor seating was lacking, and the menu wasn't huge...but trust me, the variety was just enough to satisfy just about anyone. I ordered the smash burger, which was messy, greasy and absolutely fantastic. I got the turkey club for my kids to split (and this thing was HUGE) they didn't finish it . My wife got the Cesar wrap, and she was beyond happy with it. She even brought half back home with us. I strangely suggest going on a nice day and sitting outside, it was wonderful. (Pro-tip; if going during peak lunch, expect a wait on the food. We went into Azul Tequila and got an appetizer to go so we could eat this while waiting for our sandwiches. Honestly, it's the best of both worlds)

The bagels are about as fresh as you can get, soft and chewy! We placed our order on line and pickup was easy at the window. Plenty of parking in the lot.

I had wanted to add pickled onion but saw it was $1.95, so I skipped that. We both got sea salt bagels, cream cheese-requested on the side, and add ons of bacon, at $2 each bagel. We received 1 bagel with bacon. Cream cheese was on the bagels and it was very little, parts of my bagel had no cream cheese at all. I guess that's why it wasn't on the side because then it would have been a decent amount. I kind of feel bad writing bad reviews and complaining, but I tipped them 15% and everything is so expensive now (ie. the pickled red onions). The bagels were $7.90 each for a bagel, very minimal cream cheese and bacon add on. I was going to leave 2 stars but the bagels were edible & 1 of the bagels was almost the correct order, & when my husband called & told them, they said they would refund our $2, so I landed on a 3. Hopefully we do get the refund because we don't have it as of writing this. I just wish I could re-do the tip amount. It's like giving a reward for not doing your job-anyhow, check your orders before you leave! Even though we live in Biddeford, we will be getting our bagels at Forage in Portland in the future.
