She was also making one of their "Gigantic" pizzas on top of a dirty trash can!!?? I couldn't believe it! There didn't seem to be much counter space, so I guess she couldn't fit it anywhere else. Diamond in the Rough I've always had a soft spot for local businesses like Pizza Corner. They have a stand up product, but a lack of advertising and ambiance gets them little love from the masses. Don't let the meager decor and misspelled signs fool you-- this place serves great pizza. Since it's a small business, they don't buy the product in bulk so yes, it's a little more expensive ($9.99 for about a medium sized pizza, although they call it a large), but the quality matches. I love them because they offer cute personal touches. I got a heart-shaped pizza for Valentine's Day. Today I swung buy to pick up a pizza for my husband's birthday and they politely granted my request for a smiley face made of olives on my pepperoni pizza. Lastly, they offer a HUGE pizza that is awesome for events, called the PC Gigantic. It's about the size of 4 large pizzas in a conversation starting huge box. I ordered them for my graduation and they were a hit. Definitely give this place a shot. I had been wanting to try this small, 'round the corner restaurant for some time now, and when I received coupons for them in the Community Guide, I decided to try their Lg. pizza for 9.99 deal. I must say I am almost more impressed by the friendly staff and service more than the food itself. Then again, great service is what keeps you coming back! Honestly, the pizza is worth its deal of 9.99, it's quality is a lot fresher than most, and is not heavy with grease, yet you still get all the flavor! Their buffalo wings are also delicious and you get a lot of them for 5.99. The lady that works there always gives me back my coupon to "use next time" and they always smile and greet you. It's located in the new Brea Business Lofts area, and while the parking can be tricky, it's in a good neighborhood area. WOW - I didn't know they had places like this in Southern California. Delicious, clean and family run. These guys really take care of their customers and feed them well. This is a little pizza shop with 2 tiny tables in the "dining area"; I would never eat inside. If you see someone eating inside this place , dial 911 and have it ready just in case. I tried this place when it first opened and is was not good but after seeing reviews on Yelp, I thought I would give it another try; maybe they got better. Still terrible. You can't get any better than fresh hand-made pizza and ingredients. This place is so good. To top it off, this is a family owned business and the couple who runs are such nice, hardworking and honest people. I came in one time to order two pizzas right before they closed. They over charged me and I didn't even realize it. I left to grab some things from the market down the street and when I came back, the woman confronted me and told me she made a mistake and handed me my change. Not wanting to leave home I decided to look for places that deliver near me and found Pizza Corner. I had the antipasto salad, added chicken and completely fell in love with the salad. It was so big and filling, not sure which size it was though. I would have to ask specifically for a certain size again to see the difference between the large and the small. I noticed this place on UberEasts a few weeks ago and the Chicken Tikka pizza really appealed to me since I love chicken tikka and I love pizza. I was skeptical of the idea of mixing the two things but thought why not lets give this a try. So I ordered on UberEats last week and it was at my door within 30 minutes so you can't beat that. I also asked for my pizza to not have any cheese since I can't eat any lactose and they got my order right. I wasn't familiar with the area and found this place on Yelp. We ordered pepperoni pizza and buffalo wings. The pizza was slightly greasy (pepperoni usually is) and the crust was PERFECT! Not too thick or thin but just right. A reviewer complained the wings were frozen from Costco but I imagine most pizza joints use frozen wings and I loved them. They used Ken's Steakhouse ranch dressing and it was good, too. The only drawback was canned soda instead of fountain drinks. I still rank it a 5 because I haven't had much luck finding really good pizza. I live more than 12 miles away and I will make a trip here just for this place. read more

Garden salad was very unappetizing - we added the chicken and it was basically the preserved probably recently defrosted chicken they put on the pizza. All basic iceberg lettuce. ****Update. I was picking up the pizza as a favor to the hosts of the birthday party to which my kids were invited, had this bad experience, and wrote the review two weeks ago. Today the same household tried to place an order and the man refused their order because "someone named basil from your house wrote me a bad review and it affects my business." They told me what happened, and I felt bad so I called and tried to resolve the situation. I told the man it had nothing to do with them, I will remove my review and please take their order. He refused. And not only that he told me to remove the bad one, write him a good review, and he will think about it. I tried to further diffuse the situation and asked why he had to be rude to me that day and why he was being rude again. I also reiterated what I said in my review, you can't take advantage of customers and be rude just because you are the only halal show in the area. I even said "brother why are you being this way" to which he replied "don't brother brother me, there is no brother." He basically said he didn't care and would do it again and hung up the phone, more or less. I did some research - if I call my credit card Company and tell them I was charged a fee without it being posted, he can get in trouble with the credit card company. I can also dispute the charge. If I could give zero stars I would here. Not only was the owner complexly rude but she was completely deceitful with her business. She quoted a price over the phone with a specific order and price. When she arrived she called to ask if we could come out and help her which was not a problem at all but she had the audacity to ask why did we order delivery on a rainy day. She then gave us a bill which was double what she quoted over the phone and when asked to explain, she kept responding it's on the website. She offered no explanation or breakdown other than you have to pay more because it's on the website and I didn't have to tell you the full price because you didn't ask. Excellent thin crusted pizza, truer to the original New York style than most you'll find in Orange County. The crust is ideally crunchy on the outside yet still doughy moist on the inside, they use good tomato sauce and you can taste the buttery flavor of the real mozzarella cheese they use. The amount of pepperoni slices on the pie we ordered was adequate. The shop itself features a very limited sitting area that consists of about 4 tiny tables in front of a counter, so you might want to consider take out or delivery ...which they offer. As a side note, I noticed there's a sign next to the counter saying they use halal meat. Overall a pretty good pizza that easily trumps most big name chain store pizza joints. read more

I've been reading the reviews of this shop and I'm confused. There is NO WAY anyone would give this place more than a 3 review. It is a halal restaurant that pretends to be a pizza shop. It's basic pizza at best, nothing fancy. I ordered my pizza, wings, and garlic bread for delivery. The price was $43 even though it should have been $40.73 after tax and they offered no explanation for the difference in price when I asked. The man I spoke to, who claimed to be the supervisor, was unhelpful, rude, and acted like he didn't know the prices of his products. He told us 40mins for delivery. It arrived after just 25mins. Each of my kids and my wife had a slice and complained it was raw/undercooked. I called the shop to figure out what could be done and the "supervisor" told me he would only replace the pizza if we hadn't eaten any. I explained that each kid had taken just a bite but he refused and refused to refund any of the price of the pizza either. He then hung up on me. The rest of the food was fine, except the "ranch dressing" was an off brand, weird flavored dipping cup like from a fast food place and the garlic bread wasn't worth the $3 I paid for it. I will never get food from this place again. I'm actually actively involved in a Better Business Bureau investigation into the shop. Honestly I would rather eat 7/11 pizza. read more
