OMG the kids and I had the best this this afternoon as we met a friend in Fullerton at Big Slice. From the second we walked in, we were greeted with a smile by Christian. We enjoyed a few $5 slices and Christian raved about their wings so we had to give them a try. They were AMAZING!! My new favorite wing spot in right here on Harbor!! We enjoyed the lemon pepper dipped in their handmade Buffalo sauce, TO DIE FOR!! I loved their beer selection and the kids really enjoyed their airy patio on such a hot afternoon. We'll definitely be back for more!! The kids loved being able to tag their names on the brick wall, and we are already planning on coming back for Thursdays Raiders game against the 9ers. At an invitation from a friend, my wife and I attended the Grand Re-Opening in Fullerton on June 13th. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. More than just Pizza! Pasta, salad, appetizers, sodas and beer on tap and more! We ordered a medium BBQ Chicken Pizza and drinks. More than enough for the two of us. One of my top 5 BBQ chicken pizzas! We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio enjoying the shade and breeze. Looks like they are still making improvements including a big screen TV. Did not have one of their Big Slices, but they are indeed big! In my judgement, the equivalent of a personal pizza. More than enough for one person for a great price. This is still my favorite pizza spot in town. However, their pasta dishes are also amazing. The chicken parmesan is insanely good. The spaghetti and meatballs are also a solid choice. I love the cheesy bread that comes with the meals. I always ask for extra sauce on the pastas. Service is always great. I got take out last week and was happy with the experience. It's been years since I've eaten in Fullerton. I used to bounce at a local spot and would grab food here after my shift it was just meh back then. I'm SO glad I came back to give it another shot! The service was great and I loved the patio! It was clean and was covered a bit, it was a nice day that we went so I was cool to sit outside. They also were playing "Black Panther" so that was also a nice touch. The pizza was loaded with toppings but still had a perfect balance not soggy or too heavy. Dude. I thought I was gonna go straight home after buying some chicken alfredo pasta and fries. But I didn't. I was craving some pineapple Dole vanilla swirl ice cream. So, I headed over to Matiki Island BBQ. The single slice is sizable and is equivalent to 2 regular slices. I also tried their mozzarella sticks, which looked more like cheese curds, but they were tasty with the marina sauce. Service was quick and not too busy on a weekend. I imagine it might be busier during the week with folks popping in for their lunch hour. They have outdoor and indoor seating. The chairs aren't too comfortable, but the owner is super nice and I guess he and his wife own some other restaurants in Orange County. read more

We ordered delivery on a busy Sunday night and Danny and his crew could not have been better. We still received our pizza and our wings within 30 minutes, piping hot, With their own friendly delivery service! For those of you who don't understand, that means no GrubHub no Uber eats you can call and they deliver just like pizza parlors used to. I went order pizza and wings the wings where very dry. I saw a hair on my pizza and I just couldn't eat after I saw that. On the way home my stomach started to hurt and I felt really nauseous I wouldn't go here again. I threw away the wings and the pizza that I had left didn't enjoy like how I thought i would. Came in here with my family after a couple years of eating here. Looked up a couple of reviews before and it seemed like the place was still up to par. Walked in and looked up at the menu and noticed they had a slice and drink for $6.50. We even double checked with the girl at the register about it and she confirmed it. We got a a couple of those and some mozzarella sticks. When the bill came out higher than we expected, we looked at the receipt and saw that the slice and drink was actually not $6.50. It was double the price as she charged each separately. When we went back to ask her about it, she said that the menu was outdated! It felt super deceptive that they advertised a price but pull a bait and switch. If you have an outed dated menu, why not update it!? Or even better, why not disclaim that's not the price anymore before proceeding to over charge! Finally, when you order mozzarella sticks it's expected to get them in stick or "rectangle" form. What we got were little tiny cheese balls that were deep fried. Probably about the size of a nickel to a quarter. Overall the place was a disappointment. Safe to say that we will probably not be going back. There's definitely better pizza joints around. read more

Love this little place for it's delicious pizza and fabulous loyalty program. But management seems to be okay with leaving the place in the hands of those who aren't great at customer service. Right now the place is literally run over by teenagers on the patio. They are customers but totally unruly, playing ball on the patio! Ive been coming to big slice for a a decade it feels like and now it seems like the service is getting worse. So, the food is fantastic. Will not and cannot complain about the food. But the service has gone down hill. Well, it's just one girl that works there. She's rude and unpleasant. She doesn't greet people and never asks proper follow up questions. Tonight is the 4th time In a row going there and she seems more interested in her nails than providing decent service. She seemed upset with me for telling her that my order was for dine in and now take out. She literally rolled her eyes and breathed out like her world was coming to an end. Seems like she didn't want to clean. She did the same thing with the people after us, didn't ask if the order we dine in or take out. And they ate the food here with no plates. I ordered a large two topping and modified to be pepperoni on all of the pizza, half jalepenos and half mushrooms. She did the jalepenos and mushrooms on the same side and got visibly upset when I asked her to fix it. This one person make it difficult to want to come and eat the amazing food.
