Food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for amazing pizza.

We've been wanting to try Fuoco Pizza for YEARS, but we always figured our son was too young to really appreciate this kind of pizza. Well, fast forward to this year...and HE was the one who suggested we finally give it a try! We are SO glad we listened to him! The pizza here reminds me of the kind of pizza I would eat in Italy. It tastes authentic, flavorful, and beautifully simple. If you're looking for a traditional thick-crust pizza where you pile on whatever toppings you want, this probably isn't the place for you. But hear me out...TRUST THE MENU! Order what jumps out at you and let the ingredients speak for themselves. We've tried the Contadina, Funghi e Salsiccia, and Rocco's Pie, and every single one was delicious. But hands down, the Vespa is the STAR OF THE SHOW! And then there's the homemade spicy honey. OH.MY.GOODNESS. It is SOOO good that we now order a side of it just so we can dip our other pizzas into it. Trust me...you need it! We're kicking ourselves for waiting so long to come here, but I guess better late than never! The meat and cheese quality is ridiculous. The basil tasted garden fresh. My only gripe was the bottom crust was WAY too thin - it was wet. We made pizza roll ups to get through it. I would DEFINITELY try again - I think this was a bad batch - the free standing part of the crust was delicious - seemed like someone just got carried away rolling it out. Oh! The family and I went in at about 6pm hoping to beat the crowds. Which we did. Maybe only three other tables occupied. Pizza was good. Fresh ingredients and very tasty. Gelato was good too and my glass of water. Well, that was tasty as well. Service sucked. She was nice, just not attentive. Never asked us a drink order, Never cleared the table. Gave us the check early in an attempt to push us out I guess. Too bad we wanted dessert. I ate my dessert on top of the pizza tray/pan. They never cleared the table. They just served the dessert right on top of the pizza pans. It just seemed like they didn't care. There is a sign on the booth we were seated in stating we had a 90 minute time frame to order, eat, and pay. Do they keep track of the time or do I have too? I didn't know the answer and would have liked to clarify with our server but she was never available and never check in on us. Going out to eat is never a cheap endeavor. A 150 dollar check, plus a 30 dollar tip. For me and my family is a lot of money. Yeah, I could have given less money in tip, I consider it. read more

I'm beyond shocked I haven't written review on this place yet, we have been coming here for YEARS at least once a month to celebrate a social occasion or just cause! We live about an hour away from here but will drive 10 hours for this pizza. It's authentic, it's delicious, it's amazing. Please believe me when I tell you, you won't be disappointed! The place is pretty big and comfy, but never have to wait longer than 15 minutes on the weekend. The service is quick as well! read more

I can rarely find good pizza spots near where I live, so I'm very grateful my friend introduced me to Fuoco! We got the Vespa pizza, which is their hot honey pizza, and it satisfied my hot honey cravings. It was perfectly cheesy with a good amount of hot honey drizzle. I've been here multiple times and it's still the best Neapolitan style pizza I've had in the states. My personal favorite is the Vespa because of the whole garlic and hot honey but you can't really go wrong! Service is great and fast but you can be prepared to wait on the weekends and some week nights. On Mondays you can get margarita pizzas for $5! The highlight was definitely the Chicken Pesto pizza. The crust had that perfect authentic Neapolitan char and chewiness. Amazing neopolitan style pizza! I've never tried this style of pizza before, but it's very thin and chewy. The flavor from just the margherita pizza alone was good! I liked: Quattro Stagioni Black Truffle The Quattro Stagioni is a pizza folded into four sections with prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato sauce, and ricotta. It's an interesting shape that makes it stand out right away. Flavor-wise it's tasty and the ingredients feel fresh, though the ricotta is pretty strong and I wish there was a bit more red sauce overall. The arugula on top oddly makes the whole thing feel almost healthy. Solid pizza but not one I'm rushing back for. The Black Truffle pizza is decent but very oily. The truffle flavor also isn't very pronounced, which is a bit disappointing considering it's the main selling point. It's fine as a pizza, just not particularly memorable. The interior feels like a very typical pizzeria setup and the service is pretty average. They mostly left us alone throughout the meal, which isn't bad but also didn't feel especially attentive. The overall experience really leans into the "authentic Italian pizzeria" vibe, and the pricing definitely reflects that. Finally tried this place. Love wood fired pizzas. Service was very attentive. The restaurant is pretty large to accommodate. We only had to wait 20 min on a Friday evening at 8pm. The pizzas are very unique. There were too many options to choose from which made it hard! We opted for the Calzone and the Vespi. The calzone was the most unique version I've ever seen. Normally it's folded in half like a giant hand pie. This one was in the shape of a pizza and a light sauce on top. The toppings were in center. My vespi came with no sauce and I substituted goat cheese for ricotta. It was garlicky and delicious. I would say I couldn't taste the hot honey it said it had. But it was so different not having sauce as the base layer. It brought out all the flavors of the toppings more. Can we talk about the spumoni bomba!! MUST!!! It's so so good!! Arrived and walked into the RR to wash up. Rr was clean with a slight bleach smell, always love that! We arrived just before the lunch rush so we were seared right away. We ordered Rocco's pie. When my husband ordered it. He asked to have it cut and that request gave me a flashback to our trip to Naples a few years ago. But I didn't think too much about it until the pie arrived. Wow!! The crust along the outside had a dry look to it which also took me back to Italy on my mind. My husband laughed at me as I tried to put a slice on a plate because you can't do it. Which is truly authentic. In Naples you eat pizza with a knife and fork because the crust is paper thin in the middle. And the outer crust is eaten more like a piece of chewy bread to sop up the sauce. This place is the real deal. Even the salt & pepper is imported from Cheflu. The crust had a lite crunch on the outside and chewy center, the sauce had the perfect amount of bite to it, the ricotta was soft and fresh. Very delightful experience! We have dined in and ordered take out, both pleasant experiences with no issues. For dine in, they are VERY popular so arrive earlier to account for wait times. I don't believe they take reservations for small parties. For phone orders, super convenient for to-go! Pizzas were made within 30min, you stop by at the estimated pickup time, pay, and BAM they have it ready to go. Our favorite pizzas are Vespa (for goat cheese lovers) & Margherita. Ingredients are SO fresh and the tomato sauce is one of the best I've ever had (excluding Italy lol). Also, just get the Nutellamisu. It's worth your cheat day. I enjoy the chocolate chips in the cream. I love ricotta, so the cream is the best part for me. The tube-shaped shell was dusted with powdered sugar. Delicious! This is one of my favorite places for cannoli in Orange Country. I'd love to try some other places that have cannoli. Third time here and it's been great every single time. Weekdays are usually quiet, but weekends get packed, so expect a wait if you come for dinner. They don't take reservations. The restaurant is large, lively, and has a warm casual Italian feel with plenty of tables and a few TVs. I've tried several of their pizzas, but my favorites are the Funghi e Salsiccia and Vesuvio. The Vesuvio has a bold smoky flavor, while the Funghi e Salsiccia is nicely balanced and full of flavor. Their salads are also a hit and very generous--one salad easily fed five of us along with our pizzas. I also tried the bruschetta for the first time, but nothing to really rave about except the bread itself was pretty good. Service is always friendly and attentive, and even though food can take a little time, it's understandable since the pizzas are freshly made. There's a small parking lot in the back that fills up quickly, but there's usually street parking nearby. Stopped by Fuoco in Fullerton for lunch today and it was excellent. Very quick service and great pizza. The pizza offerings served here are a very traditional Neapolitan style. I opted for their "Diavola," which has a tomato sauce base, and is topped with spicy salami, mozzarella, basil, and finished with extra virgin olive oil. Salami has a perfect amount of spice and great flavor. Crust was soft and chewy. Overall a very good pizza. My wife is gluten free, dairy free and she says their crust is the best around! We can't find another place that has gluten feee crust like Fuoco. There is usually a line starting around 5pm so expect to wait if you go around that time but it's worth it. Food comes out super quick and service is always consistently good.
