Came here on my lunch break and was pleasantly surprised! The place was clean, spacious, and had plenty of seating--which is always a plus when you're trying to escape the office for a bit. The staff was friendly and they've got a little bit of everything on the menu--Italian eats, Latin dishes, pizza slices with personality. I grabbed a ziti slice with chicken cutlet and a chicken Caesar slice. Both were solid, but that chicken Caesar slice definitely stole the show. I'll definitely be back--eyeing that taco slice and buffalo chicken next time. Prices were fair, parking was easy, and the portions hit just right. I picked up an order from there location and the owner started raising her voice and screaming at me because she said i was late picking up the uber order. I explained to the owner that Uber gave me the order 10 minutes ago. She started becoming arrogant and rude towards me for no apparent reason. I called in a complaint on this restaurant because that is not how you treat customers. Besides i just finished an eight hour shift with my day job. Uber is part time income for me and i make sure all my customers are happy. When i called uber they told me that alot of uber drivers were cancelling the order and didn't want to deliver the food. Avoid at all costs. Ordered a $10 chicken roll and it literally had 6 small tidbits of chicken. This place is a total ripoff. What is it with Long Island restaurants and take out places? This is not the first time this has happened at a pizza joint. They all try to nickel and dime you on the meat. This place used to be decent, even after new owners took over. Lately though, the quality of the the food has been embarrassingly bad. The taste of the pizza sauce is so bland, almost like they use regular tomato sauce unseasoned. The cheese has no flavor, and the dough is pedestrian at best. Service is cool, they are nice and helpful, makes me feel bad writing this review, but as a pizza connoisseur I feel like I have no choice. I work in the area and am not a fan of Mario's across the street, but the last few visits here the pizza has been inedible, a couple bites and right in the trash. Just happened to see Pizza Cucina advertise their Father's Day special, so I ordered it not knowing a thing about this restaurant. Ordered rigatoni ala vodka, chicken francais, Greek salad, pizza, garlic knots, and cinnamon sugar knots for the special price of $69.99. That was the best money spent to feed 8 adults and 2 children. Vodka sauce was delicious, chicken francais tender and very tasty, salad and pizza great. After feeding everyone we still had left overs. Would highly recommend this place especially if you have a crowd and don't feel like cooking! read more

So I've been in Hicksville/ Westbury for a few months now and hadn't tried this place out yet - but mostly because it was another pizza place of the many in this area. But.....what a pizza place it turned out to be! Perusing menus I receive at the office I came across Pizza Cucina's menu which is quite a sizable menu. But finally I called and ordered the lunch special, which by the way, is what caught my eye. The lunch special: half portion entree w/garden or caesar salad and choice of pasta for an awesome price. I ordered baked ziti lunch special and the chicken francese special. Yes, both were for me...one for lunch and one for dinner. Anyway, this small strip mall location serves up a pretty hefty portion of their lunch specials. I mean the menu does read "half portion entree", but I couldn't believe I got a full 8" round aluminum pan filled with baked ziti and chicken francese. The dishes looked as delicious as they tasted. Now, I'm no expert in cooking but I am very good at tasting food and the baked ziti was a fill your belly and soul kinda meal and the chicken francese was an unpretentious and tasty dish. Recently moved here from the city and saw this little place around the corner from my new home. I decided to order a pizza pie w/ garlic knots & wings. I must say, this pizza is really good. I am used to the really good pizza in the city and this place does not disappoint. I am happy that this place is close and I will be returning as a customer. The "salad" is literally a bowl of romaine bits, four croutons, and mediocre Caesar dressing. The pizza was weird. The chicken has a rubbery chewy texture, almost no cheese, swimming in buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing. It's just not appetizing at all. I ordered a white pizza with broccoli, bacon, basil and tomatoes and garlic knots with extra marinara and it was AWFUL. I was told the order would arrive in 45 min which it did but arrived ice cold. Was it sitting in the car for 40 of the 45 min?! I also asked for the bacon well done and I think they put on slabs of ham instead or something, it was gross. I wanted the plain garlic knots and those also came stone cold, covered in cheese and no sauce. It basically tasted like a cheese covered dried out biscuit. Just moved and we ordered from here. Food was delicious. the Spinach Pin Wheels are out of this world and would highly recommend the empenadas. The service is very quick and very friendly. Lose a star for two reasons: 1. the regular pizza is super small and if you do not know them in advance you will be shocked to learn ordering a regular pie is not like a pie at a traditional pizzeria. 2. menu is way too large. they have over 100 choices to order and that really makes you think too hard when you want pizza. BTW the Colombian style food is really good and i would treat them more as a Colombian comfort food place that serves pizza rather than a pizzeria, IMO But, the taste and service is real good, so we will surely be back. read more

I have been seeing signs for Atomic Wings crop up here and there recently and wanted to try them. Last night coming back from a weekend away gave me the right opportunity. I located this store about 15 minutes from my home and ordered over the phone. The location is actually a pizza parlor that does wings but I had tried Atomic Wings years ago and thought that they would have a leg up (chicken joke!) on other local wings. As a SUNY Buffalo grad I might be a slight wing snob. Wings are very much like pizza in that all pizza is OK but great pizza is very hard to find. I am also a pizza snob. Anywho the wings were packed up and waiting for me so I was in and out. I pulled out one wing for scientific purposes to try it hot. I have to say they are above average. I did one order hot and one of medium and the guy behind the counter was nice enough to give me a small container of the hotter than hot sauce for dipping. Final result - were they good enough to make me forget Buffalo for good, NO. We had ordered a small barbecue chicken pizza , large french fries , half order (4) medium hot chicken wings and cinnamon knots.
