This place is my local go-to for pizza delivery. I usually get their traditional cheese pizza with pepperoni and chicken wings, although I've also tried their fried calamari and really enjoyed that as well. All in all, a pretty solid option to put in your regular meal rotation. I ordered the 12" Pizzetta Pizza for delivery. The description of this pizza has mushrooms on it and they did not add them. The pizza was ok but would have liked to have had it with the mushrooms as they advertised. I also ordered a broccoli roll which was ok but a little skimpy on the broccoli. If there is one thing that is plentiful in Glen Cove, it's pizza restaurants. Delicious Pizza is definitely up there with some of the best slices in town. Its primarily a small walk in/take out/delivery catering to "The Landing" area of Glen Cove and they have a great staff who treat you with a smile. I believe you can sit outside when the weather is nice and there are a few tables for eating inside there. But because they make one of the top slices in town this is a "pizza slice only" review and that's why I am giving them 5 stars. If you live anywhere near the Landing and you are looking for a great slice and a cold drink, definitely stop by Delicious Pizza and you will be very happy. This style of Pizza parlor definitely give me the feeling of the good old Pizza joint of yesteryear and I am so happy to have them within walking distance from my house. Thanks, Delicious Pizza! PS: They also have yummy Tiramisu and Chocolate cake for a great dessert. I'm not totally sure on this but one addition that would be amazing would be GELATO. (If they already offer it I apologize. Zero stars. I can handle the delivery driver asking if his tip is on the credit card already. I can take the wrong phone number on my account. I can take the putting a pizza into a box it doesn't obviously fit. This however... Placed an online order via their system at 7:38pm last night. Received an email confirming my order with delivery by 8:15pm. 8:30pm comes and no one is answering the phone. The online system indicates there's an error when attempting to open my order (It was active until the delivery time passed.) No response at 8:45pm so we make the quick drive over to the place. Closed. Locked up. Everyone has been gone a while. It would appear they wanted to close at 8pm and the order was blatantly ignored. Doesn't matter the reason. Just another bad place in Glen Cove to get pizza. read more

I give it three stars because I've had several good meals there, love the Penne ala vodka. Unfortunately, last night I ordered a half tray of lasagna and something had gone off, probably the cheese, the whole entrée tasted bitter. A Delicious Slice of Pizza!!!! I have been searching Glen Head, Sea Cliff and Glen Cove for a delicious slice of pizza. No easy task. Little did I know, it's in the name! Their pizza is delicious. I ordered a plain pie so I can taste their base. It was good. I also ordered a Veal Parmigiana because other reviewers recommended it. Yum! And their portions are respectable. While other restaurants are decreasing their servings, Delicious gives the right amount. I also tried a Delicious Salad. So many interesting flavors including beets, walnuts and mixed greens, not Iceberg. To top it all off, they were courteous and appreciative, got the order correct and it was ready on time. not quite sure how to review this place. it's been a bit inconsistent 8n my opinion. it's gibe from incredible, glen cove top pizza, to average, then up again, then .... in my childhood, this was a, if not the, top glen cove pizza. I'm referring to back when a (kinda mean) guy named ?Sal? with a Curley long mustache ran it. i recall they had the most incredible sauce. fast forward MANY years. a few years back when Delicious 1st reopened (on another forest Ave location), it was really up there, resemblant of the pizza quality of yesteryear, and i was luke, this it it - my new,sole, glen cove pizza pick. but then the quality somehow slipped (probably workmanship, not ingredients). upon a later try, it somewhat creaped up again. it appears inconsistent, which is why not currently my top glen cove pick. however, i will continue to periodically try them, in hopes the outstanding pizza they showed they are capable of returns, and hopefully becomes consistent. so overall, i gave them 4, but it's more like its varies from 3 to 5. read more

We ordered take out. We decided to give them a try. Never again!!! Really disappointing! Garlic knots were really good!!! Pizza & penne alla vodka were awful!!! BUT the worst part was the Caesar salad $7.50 ...it was Ken's ceasar dressing!!! How do I know? They gave me two soft packs of Ken's Caesar dressing for the salad!!!! Are you kidding me!!! How hard is it to make dressing, take some pride in your restaurant! And to think of it, I bet the Alla vodka sauce was jar, it was awful!!! read more

Their large salad that cost $8 is pathetic. It's a tin with anemic iceberg lettuce, 3 slices of cucumber,3 slices of tomatoes and a few olives. I feel so ripped off. I got 4 large salads and the 2 Greek ones were pretty much the same but with onions, feta and a pepperoncini pepper. Way overpriced and shocking to find only iceberg lettuce. read more

My husband and I enjoy the pizza. The tomato sauce is really delicious, I was told it's a family recipe. If you are getting a delivery it is always within the time frame they give you. Besides Pizza we like the Chicken Daniella which is thin pounded chicken breast sautéed with escarole and beans, and it is a hefty portion. We've also enjoyed the shrimp francese and we always get it with linguini with garlic and oil . I've never had a bad entree or hero from here, also, the owner is very nice. read more

If you need to be reminded what real Italian food tastes like then place an order at Delicious pizza! I forgot how good a veal cutlet parm could be. We're so programmed to just order chicken parm.
