I've been frequenting this pizza shop since I have moved to Bellmore, the food is good but the attitude of who I presume to be the owner is poor. Sometimes I go with my wife and son and other times I use the Too Good To Go app for a late night pickup for a quick meal the next day. Every time I go to pick something up I get an attitude no matter how polite I am. The last time he wanted me to wait fifteen minutes for my Too Good To Go pickup even though the food was all packed up and ready under the counter in boxes. Half of the restaurant business is being decent to the customer, after his attitude every time I go,I will no longer be frequenting this establishment. Good food, bad attitude. read more

Phenomenal. As I critique pizza joints to no end given my Brooklyn roots, I can honestly say I've found a spot worth visiting out in Bellmore. The quality of ingredients - with a surplus amount of chicken - was absolutely delicious for this large-sized portion chicken roll. The eggplant roll - possibly one of the best I ever had - was Yuge! I will put it very simply. This is my go-to for take-out Italian. Their food is always high quality and the portions are generous. Their prices are also very fair. You can't go wrong ordering from Frank's. Strictly 5 stars every time. Been coming here for years. PS The staff is very nice too which is a bonus in my opinion read more

Ordered pizza Sunday night after a long day of outdoor work. Decided to try Franks based on Yelp reviews. Pizza with pepperoni and sausage was very good. Toppings are $3.50 per pie. Somehow my address got lost in translation and appeared differently on the receipt than how the girl who answered the phone took it down. This slowed down the delivery by over ten minutes, which means pizza arrived kinda warm. Had to use the oven and pizza stone to get it back to a hot temp. Otherwise a five star place. read more

Love it. At lunch time, 2 regular slices, 1 white slice, small soda as big as other places medium for $10 while most other places 1 specialty slice and tiny soda around $8,50. Beats Umberto and cheaper. read more

We ordered mozzarella sticks, salad and two pies (1 regular 1 pepperoni) it was a busy Friday night and they were pretty on point with the timing. Sauce and pizza tasted delicious. Such a great local pizzeria! Use to be a Friday after school treat for my son pre COVID now we order out and it's just as fantastic. I love the sesame seeds on specialty pizza and they are very generous with toppings! My son loves white pizza and while other local pizzerias skimp on ricotta, Frank's absolutely doesn't. I have order from this place twice and order veal parm. It is consistent. If you can cut it with a fork, IT'S AMAZING! My wife had Chicken Marsala, and my son had penne with meatballs. U gotta be kidding me - where did all of these bogus reviews come from ???? Are they all from friends and family ? Total crap - pizza dough was RAW - never experienced that in my lifetime of going to pizzeria's . Not sure what constitutes " great pizza " in Bellmore but this can't be it !! Fantastic food and service. Recently ordered trays of assorted hot food for an outdoor family party from Frank's based on word of mouth recommendation. Received excellent menus guidance from the staff and totally impressed by each of their Italian dishes. Fortunately for our guests who throughly enjoyed their dinner we had ordered enough so that everyone eagerly took home leftovers. You can tell a lot about a pizza joint by their regular slice. If you can't make a good regular slice then you need to re think what you're doing. That being said, Franks has by far the best regular slice I've ever had. A perfect balance of everything a reg slice should be. Not too salty or oily, fresh, crispy crust and delicious sauce. I'm not a big Yelp reviewer but I just had to come on and express my love for this pizzeria/delicious restaurant. Just moved to the area about a year ago and long behold, I found my new pizza place. When I have company, we always order delicious meals from Frank's. Every item on the menu is quality- even the house salad is to die for. I'm also not sure if it's because we are regulars or what but we always get a little something extra when we order - anything from free garlic bread or even an extra specialty slice of pizza. Ugh I could go on forever, but I think you get the point! :) read more

Tried Frank's last week on an impulse based on other Yelp reviews. I have to agree with all the positive notes. The food was good, the delivery was fast and everything was hot. Un.be.liev.a.ble. Listen. I know food. Like I knoooowww food. I know how things should be seasoned or paired with. How the crust of a bread product should be. How the seasoning should be subtle but apparent. And this place is it. The sauce is perfect. The crust of its chicken rolls are perfect. My wife and I were going to the Bellmore Playhouse to see "1917." We wanted to eat and walked into Frank's. Well let me say this, from the first bite to the last, this was some of the best pizza we ever ate. The only way to determine good pizza is to eat a plaIn slice and go from there. We were in a section that included a live singer and made for great ambiance. By 7:30, every table was filled. For restaurant week, I chose the 4 blue point oysters, the 6oz filet mignon and the cheesecake. The oysters were great and subtly briny and the filet was cooked perfectly (though the potato and vegetable side were pretty underwhelming). The cheesecake was considered Italian and was very lumpy, grainy and I did not like that style. We also ordered the brussel sprouts, grilled octopus and creamed spinach. The brussel sprouts were the highlight of the meal - highly recommend!! The grilled octopus was cooked perfectly The creamed spinach was a tad salty but yummy They also half bottles of wine which was a happy medium for my party My sister got the mussels, lamb shank and tiramisu as her restaurant week choices. The lamb shank was an incredible portion and so flavorful. One time there was a live singer playing an electric keyboard at the far end of the bar, lots of songs we recognized. There were four unoccupied tables on a narrow second floor nook spanning the rear wall, maybe for a small, private party? Both times the service and food were excellent, from the salad to the entrées to the dessert (including great tiramisu). The last time we were there, I snapped a photo of the jumbo shrimp over spinach with oil and garlic, but didn't bother with photos of the dishes with Parmesan cheese because then all you see is mozzarella cheese on top and not what's under it. FYI, a lot of dishes are called "Parmesan" due to the Parmesan style of layering the entrée (whether it be chicken, veal or eggplant) with sauce and cheese. It's moderately priced. Their "half" portions are often enough for two, so you can often order for one, but get enough for two, especially if it's a three-course meal ... just ask for extra plates.
