We ordered from Pizza Cutter tonight, and it was excellent! We had a round pepperoni pizza and a square pizza with a lot of toppings. We used to frequent another small business for pizza, but that pizzeria is under new ownership and is not good anymore. Pizza Cutter has a great antipasto salad, and the cheese sticks and bread sticks are good too. We will start ordering from here more often. read more

Tried more of their menu and never was disappointed. Tried their Detroit style pizza which is good, but a step below buddy's. Their thin crust is where it's at. I recommend getting their smallest sized specialty pizzas if you wanted to test out their menu. Only $5. Their larger pizzas are quite expensive compared to other pizza joints. They have very good weekday lunch specials too. Our favorites pizzas are the garlic and chive and meat feast. Will start trying out their subs next! read more

I loved the pizza cutter! I'd drives past it so many time and ended up here last night. My friends and I were trying to stop and food truck, but they cancelled because of the weather, and of course you can't go wrong with pizza! The menu is your classic pizza place menu with pizzas of all kinds, subs, and salads. We each got a personal pizza and they were all great! The crust was super soft and the toppings were all fresh! Not to mention, their pricing is stellar. Everything is super inexpensive for such quality food! An order of 12 breadsticks was only $2.99! Over all, I would definitely come back again. I can't leave 3 1/2 stars but if I could that would be what I would leave! Lets be honest - there's a lot of competition out there in the pizza world. We ordered 3 pizzas, garlic bread sticks and a greek salad for the game. The salad was really good and fresh! Dressing tasted home made. The pizzas ordered were bbq chicken, Greek (veggie), and pepperoni mushroom. The pizza crust is in the thin side. Not the best pepperoni pizza I've had. Enjoyed the Greek pizza and the BBQ chicken pizza more. BBQ chicken was the best of the 3. ISSUES: All 3 of these pizzas were undercooked and for that I am taking off 2 stars. They all needed at least 7 - 10 more minutes in the oven. I hate undercooked pizza that isn't brown on the top and nice and crispy. Wow this place was gross. After reading the reviews, I'm wondering if I ordered from the same place as everyone else who reviewed. Crust was flavorless, barely any sauce, way too much thick and plasticky cheese, toppings were bland, center of the pizza was wet. It was like eating cardboard and cheese. The garlic sticks left a powdery texture in my mouth. Dominos and Digiorno is better than the pizza here. I love this local pizza place!! It's really only a carry out or delivery place. There is no place to sit inside. I get the pesto pizza every time we order and have never been disappointed. I've also tried several of their subs which have been good but recently have gone downhill. The bread was different last time and not in a good way. The people answering the phone can be a bit abrasive but they sound young. Still, for a carry out and delivery place, the person answering the phone and taking your order should have some kind of customer service training. A simple thank you goes a long way. Solid pizza -- reminds a lot of a typical NYC slice (closest to what I would get from most NYC pizzerias). The sauce has a nice tang but isnt overly acidic. The cheese and crust are what remind me most of NYC pizza ... I only had the thin crust so far. Service was prompt and friendly. read more

We went to North Center Brewing Company and were told we could order pizza in to eat there. The Pizza Cutter was highly recommended. My boyfriend stepped outside to call and order at 9:45pm, knowing they did not close until 10:30. He was told they would bring it over in 15-20 minutes. We were sitting right by the door and by 10:30 they had still not delivered. We left around 11pm without ever having got our food. I would not trust or recommend this business. read more

Good subs! My boyfriend drives the 40 mins just to get a super Italian from here. I like the turkey sub. Didn't love the chicken and guac sub. Pizza is decent but subs are better. There is a lot of bread on the sub - I have to rip some off- but the bread is really good so it's not a bad problem to have. Friendly service. We like it here. For me it's a 3 star rating but taking into account how much my non-yelping boyfriend loves it - I added a star for him. Definitely try it! Much better than chain sub restaurants. read more

Without out question the best pizza I've had. The pizza crust is always crispy on the outside soft and flavorful in the middle. The sauce is so flavorful and robust but adequately portion as to not drown the pizza. The combinations of fresh toppings really makes the dish. Since we moved to Northville, we always get our pizza at Pizza Cutter. They deliver and their pizza is really good!

Quality control could be better. Sometimes the pizza is good with enough sauce, other times I had almost no sauce at all. Prices are a bit high but it is downtown Northville. Delivery was pretty slow compared to Jets nearby. I quit ordering from here and use Jets now even though I really wanted to support a local place. Just tired of paying a lot for average pizza. Some coupons or specials with more consistency would help a lot since I really want to like the place. read more

Pizza is a competitive business. I cannot image what it is like competing in this arena, and especially Detroit with the "Big 3" (Little Caesar's, Domino's, Hungry Howie's -- or Jet's). But this place holds their own. The fresh toppings were there in plentiful supply and the sauce was good too. Will get again from time to time. read more

It's not the cheapest pizza you'll buy but it's tasty and not overly greasy. I personally prefer their round over square - the square is too bready. But their toppings, in particular some of the less common ones like broccoli and fresh spinach are excellent. read more

This was an easy 5 star decision for me because I know what I like, great pizza! My pizza was hand made with fresh dough topped with high quality ingredients and delicious sauce. Totally reminds me of the pizza I grew up on from Harland Pizza 30 years ago (now closed). I have lived in Novi for over 15 years and can't believe I waited so long to try PC, my mistake for sure. I got the chefs special pizza (ham, pepperoni, onion, mushroom and green onion) and a Greek salad. The salad was also spot on with delicious dressing. I forgot to order extra dressing but when I got home I noticed they give 2 dressings for a salad. This was a very nice surprise. I must say the service was great as well, my order was ready and waiting for my pick up and the staff was on point. Take a pass on the over garlicky cheese sticks with waaaaay to much oregano on them. Salads are so so run of the mill iceberg lettuce with the usual fare toppings. The pizza on the other hand is delicious...thin crust BBQ chicken is the best. Delivery drivers are always polite and friendly. read more

I'd recommend sticking to the square. I love this place and always pick one up when I stop by my hometown. This is a major mom and pop bargain. Don't bother ordering extra cheese because you already get it, and the mix is very flavorful. I worked at Papa Romanos(another city) as a driver for awhile and the rumor was that there was a falling out and this is the original style. This is actually pretty common amongst Detroit style pizzerias so I don't doubt it. They are similar, but this is by far the best. read more

Definitely some of the best pie I've ever had. My boyfriend and I had been here once before and were very pleased. Pizza was hot, fresh ingredients and really good crust. However we don't get pizza that often. Tonight we were craving pizza, and it was getting late so we looked up the hours. Online (and on the door) said open until 9:30pm on Thursdays. So we drove over there, Yet when we walked in at 9:02 we were refused service and said they were already closed. Really disappointing so it might be a while before we try again. read more
