Quick, Friendly Coffee Stop in the Heart of Winslow's Famous Corner…read moreWe pulled into Winslow on a relaxed Sunday afternoon after a long drive, mainly to hit up the Walmart for some essentials. While we were in the area, we decided to grab coffee at this spot right on the bustling corner tied to the "Standin' on the Corner" park, the one immortalized by the Eagles' "Take It Easy." (Think: Glenn Frey statue, flatbed Ford, giant murals, and Eagles/Route 66 vibes everywhere.) The barista was genuinely welcoming and super accommodating. We asked for sugar-free caramel macchiatos, and they nailed the customization without any hassle. Both drinks were really solid: smooth, well-balanced espresso, and they hit the spot after hours on the road. The location itself is what makes it stand out, it's smack in the middle of a very touristy, lively intersection packed with Glenn Frey and Eagles memorabilia, gift shops selling Route 66 souvenirs, statues, murals, and photo ops galore. If you're already there snapping pics with the "flatbed Ford" or the bronze Glenn Frey tribute, it's super convenient for a caffeine fix. That said, it can feel a bit hectic and very geared toward tourists with lots of people milling around. If you're looking for a quiet, locals only cafe vibe, this might not be your scene. But for a quick, tasty drink while soaking in the classic Winslow nostalgia? It was exactly what we needed. Would definitely stop again if we're cruising Route 66 through northern Arizona. Friendly service + good coffee + prime location = win.

They are huge and delicious and you can get them smothered with cheese or bacon or whatever. They also have breakfast items, crepes, salads, sandwiches, ice cream, and some pretty fancy coffee drinks. Now about those hot dogs: We tried the Take It Easy dog (ketchup, mustard, diced onions) and the Kansas dog (bacon, cheese, and BBQ sauce). The Take It Easy may have standard toppings but the dog and bun are excellent. The Kansas dog was supreme. The dog, bun, and the toppings were fantastic. I don't know why the little town of Winslow has such good hot dogs but it just shows you never know what you may find.

We were…read moreseated quickly and our drink order was taken promptly, but that's about where things went off the rails. There was clearly some distinction- as other reviews have mentioned. After receiving our drinks, no one came back to take our order. We eventually flagged down a waitress (who was apologetic) to take our order. And, yes, as other reviews have mentioned, our orders came out in stages. Pro tip: order off the Pizza Hut menu, as those items all came out first. Like, significantly, first... We also ordered some local dishes, which were all tasty. The Indian fry bread was warm and very tasty. The lamb stew was very hearty. The restaurant appeared clean and organized. Just maybe some more servers, or something.

This is a combo restraint that is the both the Junction and Pizza Hut combined. We were promptly seated and our orders were taken. It took a while for our meals to arrive and for the most part they were very good. The steaks were great, however the baked potatoes were refrigerator cold inside. They did offer and provide a side of fries to make this right. The sheepherder was a good beef sandwich but the fry bread was dripping oil. As a note we were some of the last customers before closing and I think they had started shutting down the kitchen before we arrived. We were thankful that they were open and we got served. If we were to pass through the area again we would give it another try .

It included a list of places to stay, things to see and do in the city and campgrounds.- quite fun that they have taken the time to put that together. Honestly, the food wasn't all that memorable and maybe it was because I had my heart set on that turkey Panini. The chicken sandwich was fine and my husband's hot dog was good but very messy as one would expect. The fries weren't very hot. It was just OK. $29 before tip

When we arrived at 6:30p the parking lot was packed - and on a Wednesday! We waited for about 20 minutes and then were seated. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, which is served with warm baguette slices - perfection. For entrees we had the meatball linguine and the chicken Parmesan- meatballs are house- made and were so flavorful, chicken on the parm was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Entrees are served with a side salad and their ranch was to die for- so thick and creamy. For dessert we had the chocolate gelato, which was the cherry on top of the meal. Yum! The place stayed busy until we left around 8 - a big party was waiting to be sat. The staff are very hard workers - they were busting their butts all over the restaurant for the duration of our meal. Our server (we didn't get his name, unfortunately) was wonderful. Highly recommend, and if we're ever back in Gallup, we'll definitely grab another meal here!

We were served undercooked pizza--twice--and it completely ruined our dinner…read more On the very first bite, I could feel that the dough was sticky and raw. When I checked the pizza, it was clearly undercooked, so we sent it back. We expected it to come back properly cooked, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. When the pizza was brought out the second time, it was still doughy and undercooked. I took photos of it, and they show multiple different slices--all of which had the same raw, gummy texture across the entire slice. This was not just one bad piece. Because of this, we didn't even get a chance to actually eat the pizza. That was our dinner, and we ended up leaving without being able to eat it. What made the situation worse was how it was handled. The manager insisted it was "ranch sauce" and claimed the pizza was cooked thoroughly, which is simply not accurate based on both the texture and appearance. I was also told I was the only person to complain, as if that somehow made the issue invalid. Regardless, we were served undercooked food--twice. They offered a $5 discount on a $21 pizza that we couldn't even eat, which did not feel like a fair resolution. Very disappointing experience overall--not just because of the food, but because the issue was dismissed instead of taken seriously.
