Tonight we stopped by on the way back home and Zack and the guy he was working with were really helpful. The service was awesome. The ranch was incredible and the pizza and salad were delicious. This place is very very very hit or miss but I've got a lot more misses than hits......place is hard to get someone on the phone. Pizza is absolutely average. This last visit will be my last. Look at the bread sticks. Who pulls those out of the oven and goes, yep, ready for the customer?????.......if another better pizza place came to town that offered what they got, they would close down. Just got a pizza that tastes like it was ordered at 11:30am for lunch and sat for 4 hours and and i decided to eat this garbage 4 hours later. Heres the catch, we just ordered it and waited 45 mins after they said 15-20 mins. And its disgusting. Tastes like they slapped some toppings on a pizza that had already been sitting for hours. It was soggy, cold, super chewy , cheese was like hard and chewy. This is the reason we normally make the drive to roseville or auburn despite living here, the people up here dont care if they sell flat out garbage. COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED with this place. Went to order a build your own pizza online and the prices showed .50 per topping which showed $19.49 for our total. When we went to pay and check out it all of sudden became $27.99 without any warning. When I called the company to ask about this discrepancy they would not honor the price and stated that the company must have made a mistake & each topping was $1.50! It's hard for me to give bad reviews. I've ordered from them many-a-times. I gave pizza factory 3 stars because it is a mixed bag. Sometimes you'll get good service and a great pizza and sometimes I walk in and my pizza won't have much toppings or last time they messed up pretty bad. They did offer to remake the pizzas but my family was in a hurry, I didn't have time to wait another 15-20 minutes for them to get my order right. Sometimes I've been greeted by a nice teenager, and sometimes the teenager looks like they don't want to be there. Either way, it seems as everyone employed is under the age of 20 and goes to Colfax High. I love their Pesto Veggie pizza. I've had it many times and when they do it right, it's loaded with veggies and tastes amazing. I get it, the owners have a business to run, so I'm going to keep supporting the place (especially since I live in Colfax) but I wish the employees were trained better. read more

The crew were young and wearing hoodies, no gloves and flirting with a girl who stated she applied to work there, but refused to do dishes. The young men stated they would do the dishes for her. Tonight, when I ordered my Chicken Ceasar and garlic bread, I was told that I had to meet a 20 dollar minimum, excluding the delivery charge before they would deliver. What? The pizza is good and I liked going to this place more before but lately the customer service has become a bit rude, snarky and sassy. Girl working at the register needs some training on customer service and how to talk to people and deal with problems that arise.This has been a problem the past few times I been there either concerning myself or observing the interactions with other customers while I was waiting for my order.This attitude makes me feel bad for the new owners now that this girl is going to be bad influence on the atmosphere and ratings. And on a different subject.. They also need to be trained more on how to work with the Pizza Factory online app. I've been making purchases for the past year and I've been told by a few of the employees that they don't have an app, never heard of it, they don't do this, etc. But yet I had received points and even received a free pizza about a year and a half ago for making the required number of purchases. I will no longer buy any pizza-salads or anything from this location. On 12-27-23 I made a phone order of 2 extra large pizzas and an order of bread sticks. I explained to the girl on the phone that I had the Falcons Football discount card and I believed the breadsticks would be free? She explained that she couldn't remove charge until I brought in coupon which I was fine with. When I went to pick up my items it turned out that the coupon was for $4 off any large or extra large pizza. When the young man range me up it came to $54.22. I had the coupon for the $4 off any large or extra large pizza and asked him to adjust the price since I'm buying 2 extra large pizzas. He told me that my pizzas were on special so I don't get the $4 off? I explained that only one pizza was categorized as the special and that was the extra large pepperoni pizza. My second pizza was an extra large half sausage and pepperoni and half plain cheese which was not on special. He refused to give me the $4 off and I paid full price. I've lived in Colfax for over 30 years and the quality of pizza there has really gone down hill. Now that they're not honoring coupons and being extremely rude I will not be giving them my business going forward. Also frequently I would take my grandkids there on days when school gets out early so they could have lunch and play video games and the claw machines. The last 3 times we've went there only one out of five games were playable and the others just ate the coins that the kids would put in. The Management is also aware of this issue and have not addressed it and they also do not refund money lost in their broken machines. Uggggghhhhhh.... Okay, I can't be so harsh as to give them one star (my gut impulse), but I do have some severe criticisms. 1. Being that Colfax is the first real place to stop after the mountain pass as you're coming back from Tahoe/Reno, it's expected that they'd be slammed at the end of a holiday weekend. 2. I can deal with packed, but the place was also filthy. The tables that were empty were overflowing with all sorts of items that needed to be bussed or thrown away. There was also trash cans that hadn't been emptied in a long time. 3. They say they'll call your name when they pour your beer or if your pizza is ready. Our beers sat on the counter for almost 10 minutes as we waited for this magical occurrence. 4. Screaming, obnoxious children everywhere. I don't count this against the restaurant, but it's something that is apparently a thing. 5. At least the restrooms weren't as trashed as the rest of the place. 6. The pizza was underdone (even though we asked for it well done), and didn't even taste good. In a pinch, I guess it's better than nothing, but definitely not something I'd ever seek out with any other kind of option there. read more

I ordered the garlic chicken pizza from pizza factory in Colfax and I ordered the garlic chips and I picked the pizzas up came home and the garlic chicken pizza crust was thinner than a newspaper. It was salty as crap And it was burnt and it was absolutely hideous and the chips. The perimeter of the chips were burnt to Chrisp and the center was OK. The middle of the chips were tasty, but a month ago I ordered the same pizza but by the delivery and when it came, it was absolutely knockout delicious and it was so perfect. It was amazing and that's why I decided to order it again. The customer service was absolutely amazing but as far as the people cooking the pizza, I was not impressed. I think that they needed more supervision. They're too young they don't have experience and they definitely shouldn't be left on their own. So after 3.5 ( maybe longer) hours waiting for the CalTrans chain control to tell me that " I-80 E is closed" I headed 15 miles or so in the oppossite direction looking for food. It was packed in here @ 9:30pm. I guess this is where Colfax goes to rage on a Friday. ( Hard to gauge since it probably was other people headed to Reno/Tahoe and denied like us : ( ) Consisting of families, snowboarders, and others, I thought that the " greasy spoon" sounded like a solid bet. $18,99 medium with pepperoni, salami, sausage, canadian bacon, etc ( basically a " meat lover's pie ) 10 minutes later a pretty impressive looking pizza arrived at our table. Then I tasted it and that's where Underwhelmed 101 began an impromptu lecture. All the toppings kept falling all over the place, but most importantly, the sauce was really basic, store-tasting, and distractingly meh. The thinnest layer of cheese threw out a cameo appearance, but she dashed before I could even tell you her name. Tease. The toppings were tasty though, and I did kill half of it no problem. It's just that at the end I wasn't like " I wanna run on down back to the Colfax Pizza Factory. " At least the staff was nice. Ok this place was my ultimate favorite back in my old hometown Susanville,Ca. Since I live in the Bay Area now there is no Pizza Factory's around. I never make it back up north to the "ville" so when seeing the Pizza Factory on the way to Reno in a town called Colfax, I was happy! Not aligned with current statewide rules, also not consistent with the restaurant's states mission at the top of this page.
