The turban (turkey and pastrami ruben) is my goto. I've had the jumbo ( turkey stuffing and cranberries) Truly a second stomach kind of thing. I've had the ruben which was good but left me craving the turkey. And I've had the French dip. Which was good but again lacked the focus. My wife recently had the BLT which was blasphemy to me but it had all the right things in the right places. And a pile of bacon. I can only speak for the bar seating and HAPPY HOUR 3-6pm which has good appetizer and drink specials. And truly frigid air conditioning. Which is a welcome thing in July and August. The decor is bowling and classic old men in various post work attire everybody seems to know one another and are welcoming to outsiders. Staff. Well it tends to change. We responded yes and I asked him to clear the plates as his hands were empty. He proceeded to argue with me and said he'd rather wait u til we were gone to do so. I explained to him, as a former waitress, that it's polite to clear tables of empty dirty plates. again he argued with me and walked away without the plates. Wowza. I was polite, and yet he couldn't be bothered. I also had to ask the server to take the plates too. I find this so odd, as removing dirty plates is SOP in any restaurant. One more note, when refilling water glasses, it should be done with a pitcher and not taking a customers glass away to do so. This is all basic restaurant etiquette .

So you pivot walk up and order to-go instead of waiting for the 1 hours + wait due to the group size. Now I had Sydney (no badge so this is how I'll spell her name) was awesome grabbed a ordering pad took my order: pulled pork Mac n cheese, prime rib dip, x2 seared salmon, mushroom burger and a blue cheese chicken salad...oh and some bbq chicken wings too! She said give us 30 minutes and 30 minutes on the nose, I had food in hand and out the door! No pictures from this order since food in to go boxes are not that sexy and I had hangry diabetics in this group so maybe on our next visit. We were 5 minutes away from leaving but luckily it came out right before leaving. The funny thing is, our waiter was the one who made our order. He saw us still waiting after telling us 5 more minutes 30 minutes ago, so he ended up walking to the kitchen and making our order himself. Which was NOT HIS JOB! I appreciate our waiter and he was great, it was only the people in the back. I want to know if it's the manager, the people they hire are not doing their job. I really could not tell you. But there's no way it wasn't even busy yet it took almost an hour and a half to receive a few orders of bones less wings.
