$27 for a large pepperoni and a piece of cheese cake, took an hour and a half to deliver, $30 for a cold pizza.

It was close enough that we walked. If you're curious about who we saw at this 560-person venue, you will have to go to my IG. I got a few reels. IG is also the only place you can reach me now. FB, TT, X, website, and email are all out. I do have a secret email but it's most definitely not the one tied to this account--that one is inactive. I only mention how to contact me because the number of people reading these reviews exceeds the number of readers for my books. That's a lot of exposure. So, it's possible someone would say, "We want that mfer!" But therein lies the problem. I misbehave while being incredibly reliable. Anyway, about that pizza.... If you look carefully at the photo, you will see the slice of pepperoni in the background. My son told me it was the best slice of pizza he has ever eaten. And that's a lot of pizza. In fact, he has taken a photo of every slice of pizza he has ever consumed and posted all of them on his 'Pizza Wall.' His theory is that pizza always puts him in a good mood, so why not always be looking at pizza. Okay, none of that is true, except for the part that he said it was the best pizza he ever had. My slice was very good but I don't know about all that. It seems to be a common theme at Five Points East though. Therefore, go for it! Our server, Annie, was excellent. And very efficient at her job. As for atmosphere, pretty cool! Small but cool. And I actually like that they don't have Italian food and stick to their speciality. Also, there is a small bar in the back. Highly Recommended!

This time, we switched things up and hit it for lunch instead. Good call. We grabbed seats at the bar, where Todd was holding down the fort. The guy was outstanding. Drinks never sat empty, food came out smoothly, and he somehow managed to be attentive without hovering over us every five minutes asking if everything was okay. My wife started with the Nashville Margue, which goes down way too easy for something packing moonshine. Light, refreshing, and carrying enough kick to remind you you're in Tennessee. Then Todd introduced us to a Bloody Mary made with a new pickle-infused vodka. Now, that sounds like one of those ideas that should either be amazing or a complete disaster. Turns out it's amazing. My wife loved it so much she's already talking about coming back tomorrow for another one. For food, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Simple. Warm. Soft. Salty. Exactly what you want while settling into a Nashville afternoon. Nothing fancy, just done right. Then I went all in on the mac and cheese topped with Nashville hot chicken. Yee Haw. Creamy mac and cheese. Crispy chicken. That signature Nashville heat. Comfort food with a little attitude. Just the way it should be. The best thing about The Stillery is that it knows exactly what it is. Good food. Good drinks. Good people. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just a fun place to sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Fifteen trips to Nashville (together) and it's still one of our first stops. That's probably the strongest review I can give. Five stars.

The atmosphere was really cool, though we chose to sit outside since it was a little dark and loud inside. The pizza was the real standout -- easily better than 95% of the pizza spots in Nashville, and I say that as someone who eats pizza at least once a week. The pies are huge, and the buttery flavor in the cheese makes them absolutely incredible. I'll definitely be back, and this place will probably become a regular spot for my son and me.

I had the frozen jalapeño peach margarita and I can't recommend it enough!! It was genuinely perfect. They also had a fun lineup in the frozen machine, including a Transfusion, frosé, and a frozen espresso martini. We grabbed a couple slices (cheese and pepperoni), and both were exactly what you want for a late-night slice. I'll definitely be back to try more...the specialty pies look AMAZING. The "Sweet Heat" with honey and jalapeños is already at the top of my list. The bartenders checked on us often and answered any questions we had. I loved the covered patio and open atmosphere. There's plenty of seating and TVs to catch a game as well. It's a great place for a good drink and solid late night slice!

It's located downtown, but feels like a hidden gem all on its own. When you walk in, you're greeted by a beautiful dining space with photos lining the walls, and the outdoor seating is just as beautiful. We sat outside with the heaters on, and it felt cozy and intimate. We started the night with the Meatballs and the Whipped Ricotta with chili honey...I'm still thinking about them. Both were incredible. We also ordered Espresso Martinis, which were good, although definitely on the stronger, coffee-forward side. If you like spinach, you MUST try the Rotolo Alla Vodka. I've never had anything like it-- the sauce was unreal. We also shared the Ophelia's Lasagna, which was almost just as good... almost. For dessert, we split the Tiramisu, and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was a solid 10/10. Every plate was gone before I even thought to take out my phone for pictures. Our server, Gavin, really elevated the experience. He was extremely welcoming and gave the best recommendations! It was packed on a Saturday night, so definitely make a reservation. We saw a mix of large groups and couples. I parked in a $20 garage down the street, but Ubering would also be a great option. Overall just a great spot! I'll be back soon.

I learned quickly what people see as "good pizza" here is a step away from toasted white bread and a can of hunts with supermarket brand mozzarella. Now I'll give you the fact that you're paying the rent and the quality of ingredients but if you're going to eat pizza it may as well be real. The guys that founded this place are from my hometown. The only thing I've found close was the former Joeys and Mannys. 2 brothers from Brooklyn who brought their A game to Nashville. They rated 9.7 and 9.8 respectively. They're no longer storefront but I believe Joey is still catering. My regards to the 2 Franks. If you want quality real pizza then they''re the real deal. I was literally shocked to see the place (pizzeria) empty at 1pm on a Tuesday. Nashvillians don't know 'Nuttin. Get out to Frankie's immediately and find out what great pizza, quality ingredients & a pleasant staff mean. Otherwise visit your frozen section and make believe you're actually eating PIZZA!
