    Chocolate cake slice

We went to eat here for my birthday with family who was visiting from out of town. It was very busy as it was tax-free weekend at the mall, however, once seated everything went by pretty quickly. The fried onions and salads to start were very good along with the bread and honey butter. I got a prime rib and it was good but cooked a little more than I would have liked. [[HIGHLIGHT]]For ambiance I would say a step above other well known chains but not as "fancy" as a higher tier steak restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We also got a slice of cake for my birthday and be prepared for the biggest piece of cake you've ever seen!

Food was tasty and served to order. We started with a yummy queso dip. I could have had that as a meal. We ordered filet mignon with potato soup. Sure to be a hit with the family. We ordered happy hour drinks and drink were slow but made up for it in taste.

Stopped in to get lunch while doing a little shopping at Opry Mills Mall. Decided to stop in at Saltgrass and checkout the final few rounds of The Masters while enjoying a nice relaxing sit down lunch. Food was very good. Not what I expected from a mall setting. Steak was cooked medium, just like I like it. Baked potato was also cooked very well. Fluffy and just right. Pleasantly surprised. Definitely check out Saltgrass Steak House if you are visiting Opry Mills Mall. It was delicious.

We noticed Salt Grass Steakhouse when we visited the Grand Ole Opry and decided to return before a show at the Opry. We had no idea it was a chain restaurant & don't typically review chains. We started with a bourbon. We both got the Wagon Boss Center- Cut Top Sirloin with salad & mashed potatoes. The salad was good and fresh. The steak was perfect and had a distinct salt flavor from the 7 season blend. Very good steak dinner before the show. The mashed potatoes were smooth and whipped fluffy. Excellent accompaniment with the steak. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very Nice dinner and atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was exceptional and would definitely return. Even though it's a chain like Texas Roadhouse it's a great dinner option and close to the Opry.

Saltgrass Steak House is a casual steakhouse chain with a Texas-inspired menu. The Nashville location is inside the Opry Mills Mall and is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. While exploring the mall, I came across Saltgrass. I was in the mood for a drink and some appetizers before dinner, and this place caught my eye. The menu looked appealing, and the reviews were strong, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the shrimp cocktail and the Range Rattlers. The shrimp cocktail was simple but fresh, served chilled with cocktail sauce and pico de gallo. The Rattlers were the standout, crispy, golden-fried jalapeños stuffed with shrimp and melted jack cheese. They packed one heck of a bite! The service was friendly and attentive. The bartender made sure I had everything I needed, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.

I'm a steak and potato girl so was happy to see there was a steakhouse near the resort I was staying at for a work conference that was only a short walk away! I had dinner at Saltgrass Steakhouse in Opry Mills Mall on a Monday night and it was just what I had hoped for! They brought a yummy loaf of bread and butter out that didn't last long because it was warm and fluffy inside and I couldn't help myself! I started with the house salad with ranch and have to say - the ranch was A-MAZING, super flavorful and creamy. For my main, I went with the 12 oz Pat's Ribeye cooked medium rare and some fresh horseradish paired with a baked potato (loaded up with butter and sour cream), and everything was spot on. The steak was cooked perfectly--juicy, tender, and flavorful with nice char and the baked potato was huge and satisfying. A big shoutout to Gary, my server, who was awesome! As a first-timer, he walked me through the menu and made a great recommendation - exactly what this steak-and-potatoes girl needed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is massive, great for large groups, but it also has cozy tables that make it feel perfect for a date night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The location is ideal, just steps away from the Grand Ole Opry and the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Next time I'm in Nashville, I'll definitely be back for another ribeye, potato, and of course, that ranch!

You know it has to be good if there is a 45 min wait on a Wednesday at 5:30pm. Our server was super nice and attentive. Our queso dip appetizer was Delicious!!!! My ribeye was cooked perfectly and my potatoes so creamy. My friend's medium well steak could have been cooked a tad longer, as it looked just like my medium rare steak. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love that it is in the mall because we did get to walk around while we waited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would definitely recommend this place

18 neighbors from Myrtle Beach dining before the Opry show.

5/29/26: 18 friends from Myrtle Beach enjoyed dinner here before the Opry, which is directly across from the Opry Mills Mall. Several servers attended our large group. Notably the loaded baked potatoes were ENORMOUS, in one case much larger than a 6 oz. filet. The menu prices seemed reasonable being that the Grand Ole Opry was so close. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A perfect dining location for Opry fans and steak lovers![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] - Laura & Mark VanValkenburg, Myrtle Beach, SC.

I got the seafood fondue and while it was good, the garlic bread was lacking. It was just Texas toast and barely seasoned or buttered. The fondue itself was creamy, but not cheesy. It's like it was missing the fondue. I think you could consider it a soup maybe because it was such a thin soup. I did like the big chunks of shrimp and crawfish, but it still was missing cheese. It wasn't bad for my birthday dinner, but it wasn't cheesy fondue like I wanted either. The service was good and the wait wasn't too long, but still, could have been better food for the price.

Country fried steak with gravy & smoked Mac and Cheese
    Cody D.

This country fried steak was huge. Delicious, with an excellent crust of fried goodness. The sawmill gravy was very good and had tons of black pepper, as sawmill gravy should. The Mac and cheese was creamy and had great flavor. It came with soup or salad, so I had some really good potato soup and the bread they bring for the table. Service was quick and we had a very friendly server who took good. Are of us.

With a 4.77 aggregate rating across all user-driven platforms and nearly 1,700 reviews to date, Krustaceans is much better on paper than it is in reality, a very overrated restaurant! As the highest-rated seafood joint on the entirety of Highway 70 across the America, it simply did not live up to the hype as I passed through Nashville. Perhaps I should have ordered crab or shrimp or some other boiled seafood which seems to be more of their specialty. But the fish and chips caught my attention. Beware, these aren't the fish and chips you'll find in the UK or the Northeastern United States. Instead of a crisp, beer-battered exterior, this is more like a catfish breading. And it's not bad, but it's just very different than the name would imply. The batter is probably too salty, but the fish is very fresh! The Cajun fries are horribly mediocre. They're definitely just frozen fries from a local supermarket with an uninspiring spice mix. The employees didn't seem very welcoming either, which was kind of sad since I was excited to be there. It's not a bad meal at all, but the ratings are way higher than they should be! If you're haphazardly shelling out five-star reviews, you've probably never had real seafood on the coast and have only inflated the truth for online viewers. Don't expect too much out of Krustaceans, hope for a decent meal, and you won't be disappointed.

The restaurant is in a complex of several establishments. The dining room decor is modern with seating on two levels. When we arrived, we had to wait a few minutes to be seated as the restaurant was fairly busy on a Monday night, I assume due to the happy hour special that runs all night. We ordered the bruschetta appetizer to start and some drinks. The appetizer came out promptly and was nicely done, with plentiful helpings of burrata and cherry tomatoes layered with balsamic pearls. The pearls have the appearance of caviar so it was a pretty and flavorful twist. Unfortunately, that was the end of the positives. Our dinner entrees included the chicken parmesan and grilled salmon. Both were overcooked and the salmon in particular (I asked for it to be rare in the center) was so throughly cooked it had a very grainy texture. The sauce was bland and the pasta overly soft. Service was pretty one-note as well, not rude but not particularly attentive either. Dinner ran $120 with tip including two cocktails and one beer. Really disappointing.

I especially love it when simplicity and genuine passion is served, not just presentation. Anyway, to start off - this market, and it's a market, not quite a restaurant. When my friend and I stopped in, there was one table, four chairs. Since we were there late, we were able to sit and dine in. Sitting and eating there allowed us to chat with Kojo - the owner. Learning not just about the market but his history and his passion for what he does. Switching gears again - the market is in a huge shopping plaza. Lots of parking. And free. As for the food - see the pics. Dinner pics is mixed in with what was left in the market. I can't even begin to explain how much I enjoyed the flavors of the dishes he made on the spot for us. As we were there late in the day, most of the popular dishes were sold out however, he made a few suggestions, even two that were off the menu and made it to order. When we were there, it was a one man operation. So he was also our host and server. If you couldn't tell - service was excellent. Chatting about food. About seafood. About the beginning of Gulf Port. And about life in general. This is one of those places, that if I lived there - I'd frequent the place just because of him. It's just too bad that me going there requires a plane ticket and a five or so hour flight. But, also know this - next time I fly into Nashville, I'll make my way to Hermitage and have more delicious, fresh seafood.

**April 2025: Saturday Evening Visit**…read more My friend and I wanted to eat somewhere in the Hermitage area since that's where we were staying and Gulf Port Seafood had really high ratings, which were 100% well deserved. I should preface this by saying that Gulf Port is a seafood market first and that they have one table (4 chairs) so you can dine-in - but space is limited. Kojo, the restaurant owner, has both raw and hot options for patrons to enjoy. We came pretty late on a Saturday so many of his popular items (gumbo and lobster roll) were sold out, but we decide to try his other offerings which were delicious. We ordered the 2 orders of Cajun Crawfish Roll (methinks $15?), Seafood Mac & Cheese (methinks $20?) and Shrimp and Grits ($20? maybe) and all were made to order and brought to our table in a timely manner. The Cajun Crawfish Rolls came out first (I guess one order is given two rolls) and we demolished it. The toasted bun had a nice char, but was fluffy on the inside and the cajun sauce gave the crawfish nice flavor. We devoured this and were really impressed with the item. Next the Seafood Mac and Cheese came our as well as the shrimp and grits. The Mac and Cheese had such a great blend of cheeses and the noodles were cooked al dente. The grits on the shrimp and grits were scrumptious - not mushy at all and the shrimp was cooked through. Everything tasted very comforting and the prices are very reasonable! Overall, this was definitely a highlight meal of my Southern States travels and the next time I'm back in Nashville I hope to try the gumbo and lobster roll!

We started off with a round of champagne and a bottle of red wine for dinner. We tried a variety of dishes since we were told that the set up is family style: Hamachi Crudo: 10/10 one of the best I've ever had! Super fresh and the sauce paired well with it. Bluefin Tune Crudo: 8/10 It was really fresh and well prepared, but I've had better elsewhere. I typically prefer bluefin tuna sashimi or nigiri anyway. Tuna Crispy Rice: 9/10 This was such a fun and delicious way to eat spicy tuna! All of the seasonings made it packed full of flavor. Tomahawk Ribeye 9/10: This was insanely tender, and well seasoned. Tip: ask for lemon wedges to sprinkle some lemon juice on it--thank me later. Broccolini 8/10: well prepared, and I loved the lemongrass garlic chili that topped it East Side Shrimp 7/10: These were well cooked and well seasoned. Loved the salad placed underneath it. Wagyu Tartare 8/10: It was well prepared and loved that it's paired with nori and rice. Wished it had a bit more punch to it in terms of seasoning. Crab Fried Rice 8/10: this was delicious but still say it's a solid 8. Beautifully prepared! Korean Hot Wings 2.5/10: I could tell that it was well cooked, but it was insanely salty; it was practically inedible. Hurricane Fries 9/10: These were so delicious! You are immediately hit with the smell of truffle, which made my mouth water. Packed with flavor! Brussels 7/10: These were well roasted, but the sauce was a tad too sweet for my liking. By the bar we got to see some of the dishes being made. Great date night spot. Limited parking. This is a tapas spot and our serve did a good job recommending how many dishes to get. The only reason Noko is not getting 5 stars is because the server said that they would time out the dishes for us, so it was best to place our entire order all at once. However, we got 3 dishes and then it took about 30 minutes for other two to come out. Maybe we were eating too fast but felt like we were waiting a while for our food. The food itself was absolutely delicious. There was nothing we ordered that I did not like. Some favorites include the burnt ends lettuce wraps and Korean chicken wings. The Sando, shrimp and tuna crispy rice was also spectacular. The tuna was so flavorful and refreshing on the tuna crispy rice. The sauce of the east side shrimp really makes the dish. I'm not a huge shrimp person but this was really good. This is a must go to spot in Nashville and would definitely want to come back.
