Haven't ordered from here in a long time. My 14 year old son called in a large Tuscany crust CHEESE pizza and they told him $27 to deliver???? We of course went to pickup. The guy at the counter then told me 19 plus? I said WHAT....He said ohhh let me see if there is a coupon....then charged me 17 plus? I had put a 2 liter on counter that they ALWAYS give you for picking up your pizza which I found out they charged me $4 for that!!!! When I got home I looked online and a plan cheese on reg or thin (tuscany) crust is $14.99. I called back in and another guy explained that since I put 2 liter on counter they "assumed" I wanted to pay. I reminded them their delivery guy who started talking to me in the store offered Ice cream or soda 2 liter since I picked up at which the staffer I was dealing with gave him a dirty look? Tge whole transaction seemed like lets charge as much as we can get away with....Seems the longtime manager and staff are long gone, and so is their good, FAIR, and honest business practices. Hate to do it but this deserves the 1 star rating I am posting. read more

Pizza is fine, but whenever I order the big and chewy cookie it is always way undercooked. It's so disgusting and inedible, it tastes like it's just warm cookie dough. I worry it will make me sick. I always ask for the cookie to be well done but I still get a doughy, raw, undercooked cookie. read more

Reminds me of Dominoes Pizza from 1987. If you liked the way Dominoes pizza was back in the 80's you will like these guys. I almost always pick mine up, and they give you a free 2-liter when you pick up too... always ask what their special is.. it varies from day to day. I ordered a pizza online on Sunday to be delivered at noon Monday. Medium all meat on Tuscany thin crust, add jalapenos and cheddar cheese. When it wasn't here by 12:15, I called the store. As soon as I said I ordered online the lady on the phone told me my name and which pizza I had ordered. She said the driver had trouble locating the customer ahead of me and was on his way. A few minutes later, the driver arrived and apologized for being late. The pizza was excellent. The only thing they could have done better was to have called me to tell me they would be late. Ordered through EAT 24 app. Friday afternoon, order confirmation at 4:39 PM and received pizza at 6:10 PM. Called the store and was told that they had something go wrong with their ordering system and that the EAT24 app didn't print the order correctly. There are many different pizza delivery companies in Chico that will deliver your pizza in a timely manner. Pizza Guys is not one of them. The pizza that was ordered was a Hawaiian pizza along with a Gluten Free pizza. Both were average. Ordered Classic hot wings as well. Nothing special there. Buffalo Wild Wings (in the same complex) is 100 times better. They were overcooked and tried to mask that by over seasoning the wings with too much sauce. Maybe im just spoiled and used to bay area pizza but this was pretty bad. Like not food poisoning or anything unsanitary just not tasty. Im sure that its ok if you arent a pizza connesuir but it was not up to par IMO. Best way to describe it maybe would be a low quality digiorno freezer pizza but with dough very much like little ceasers crossed with a subway white bread. Very much tasted like preservative/frozen/low quality food. Employees were awesome though so 2 stars. read more

Great pizza done right. Ordered for pick up online and it was great. Did a simple bbq chicken pizza. It was ready in less than 15 minute on a Friday night, and much better crust than other Chico pizza places. It's a little outside of downtown but worth the drive or delivery... NOW, THAT'S A PIZZA! After painting all day yesterday, my friend and I were starving. We did that thing where you say "How bout this?" and "Nah, let's go here!" etc. trying to agree upon what we wanted to eat. She remembered that she had some coupons for Pizza Guys so we gave them a call. We ordered a thin crust with mushrooms and black olives and the white garlic sauce. The employees were courteous, the service was quick, the price was low, the pizza was hot and the quality was exceptional! I don't know what kind of cheese they use, but it melts in your mouth. Worse place ever!!! I called an hour before closing to place my order for pick up they didn't answer. I was 5mins away so I decided to drive there. The sign said open. But the oven wasn't on and the music was so loud that they didn't hear me come in. The little red head boy that was walking back and fourth didn't even notice me when I yelled to him. I placed an online order at 3:19pm for delivery at 5:15pm, as I had a meeting I needed to go to and my husband was rushing home to be with our kids while I was out, and so they could have food while I was out. I called at 5:20pm when I left the house and was told that the pizza was going "out the door for delivery now." My husband sent me a text at 5:50pm and pizza still wasn't there. I gave him the number and they told him it had "just left" and should be there shortly. When I got out of my meeting at 6:10pm, I called again, as the pizza STILL hadn't made it to my house. I asked for a manager, who said, "the pizzas just came out of the oven. We only have 1 driver tonight, I should have called you." Well, we called THREE times in the hour that's passed since the pizza should have been at my house, how was it just coming out of the oven?! The only thing they could offer is 50% off my next pizza order. Who knows of I will ever use it as I'm extremely disappointed in the service I received tonight. My pizza FINALLY showed up more than an hour after I requested, and 3+ hours after the original order of the pizza. read more

Just tried calling to place a delivery order and was hung on both times by a girl named Sylvia. Who clearly heard me, and just kept hanging up. I made my boyfriend call back twenty minutes later to order and she still was completely rude to him too. But at least she could magically hear him all of a sudden. The food was extremely late - when we called after we had placed our order (after an hour and a half) the employee was beyond rude, and refused to advise us when we could expect outlets order. Horrible service!!! I ordered an "All Meats" and I got something with mushrooms, green peppers and onions. When I called back they were extremely apologetic and said they would "rush" the correct pizza out to me (they are two blocks away). An hour and ten minutes later I called them back and the manager said that she tried to call me back but that my number had been disconnected. Really? The number I called her on three times over a two an a half hour period??? Then she said they wrote it down that I ordered a supreme. I have never ordered a supreme pizza in my 45 years on this planet. I hate onions and am allergic to mushrooms....hmmmm. Then the manager said that its their policy to take to wrong pizza back...come and get it! 3 hours after my first phone call, still no pizza. Moral of the story, be careful if you order pizza from Pizza Guys, it's either wrong, late, or somebody else's returned order.....or "D" all of the above. read more

Thank God! This is the only pizza place in Chico that delivers under 45 minutes. Every other place takes at least an hour and sometimes much more. I don't know if it's because of the rising minimum wage (less drivers) or what. All I know is that up until 10 years ago, you could get a pizza delivered for under 45 mins. Last time I ordered Woodstock's delivery, it took them an hour and a half! Stone cold. Round Table 2 miles away. An hour and 15 minutes. (Pizza guys is 5 miles away) At 4 in the afternoon!! So kudos Pizza guys! And their pizza is great. I would have given 5 stars but an ingredient was on my pizza that I didn't order (and don't like). But if I can get a pizza delivered in under 45 minutes, I will take it! And they have neatly uniformed delivery drivers. read more

Last night I placed a pick-up order for the buy one large get one large free deal. I ordered one pepperoni and one chicken and pineapple half on barbecue sauce and half on white sauce, no red sauce. I picked up my order and when I got home I realized they made my chicken and pineapple pizza on red sauce. So I called the store, it was 9:30 pm and asked for it to be remade and delivered because I had already started drinking alcohol for the night. They said okay and said it was going to be about an hour and a half wait and I said okay. A hour and twenty minutes went by and I receive a call from pizza guys and they call to tell me that the driver just got back to the store and that I won't be receiving my pizza. It was then almost 11 pm at night and I had yet to eat because I am allergic to red sauce and previously was fine with waiting for my pizza even that late just so I could eat. The fact that they call me 10 minutes before my pizza was supposed to be delivered and that it was 11 pm at night is so incredibly inconsiderate and rude. I have never had customer service like this before and I will never be ordering from this company again. Excuse my language but it was honestly just beyond complete bullshit. read more

My husband and I used to order pizza from here all the time. Starting today we will never order from here again. We received the yellow coupon directory that had a lot of Pizza Guys coupons. One coupon (page 39) said Free Pizza. It said "Buy any pizza at regular menu price, get the second pizza of equal or lesser value FREE! No other discounts. Expires 10-20-2013". We called in to place the order and the lady who answered the phone said the coupon only applied to extra large and large pizzas. We were trying to order a medium and a small. We then spoke with the manager and she said the same thing. We told her it said ANY PIZZA on the coupon. She said that the "owners" said that the coupon applies only to the extra large and large sizes. We were so disappointed in the customer service. We can't even imagine how many other customers are going to be disappointed. read more

I have lived in Chico for 3 years now and have never tried pizza guys until last weekend. I must say I was really impressed. I went into pick it up and the customer service was great. The girl that helped me out made me feel really comfortable, and was super nice to me. I ordered the two for 20 deal and the pizzas were great! I also ordered a garlic bacon bread and it was one of if not the best garlic breads I have had in Chico. I don't know any other pizza place in chico that offers bacon bread. Plus on top of it all I got a FREE 2 liter for picking it up. Overall the service was great and the pizza was great as well. I would recommend checking it out! read more
