When I saw Chico had a Woodstocks, I had to visit! We got a small salad and a personal pizza (the even do half/half on personals!). Service was friendly and prompt, and our drinks and salad came out quickly. I did an "upgrade" on my cocktail to add an additional shot for $3 (visiting Chico after all!) and it was perfect! Great addition! Greek salad was super fresh and delicious! Lots of great flavorful veggies, and a great dressing. Our personal pizza came out a few minutes later, and was still dangerously hot! I love it when I get food that is so fresh it is still piping hot! Pizza was awesome - plenty of toppings, and the classic curled/folded crust is still a hit! Awesome! Always glad to see these old institutions holding up! Woodstocks is a classic! On another note - they were doing live music and letting local bands play on one side of the restaurant - and drew a crowd on the street and across the street! I love to see businesses that support the arts -and this really added to the lively and festive atmosphere! Good on you Woodstocks! It is so obviously a completely different crust and cheese. The watery bargain basement mozzarella was minimal. The extremely thin crust, with barely any sauce was worse than the worst frozen pizza I have ever had. No one ate it. The cheese bread seemed stale. No one ate this either. I am assuming the "2 for 1" pizza pricing might result in the same, one decent quality pizza, and one bargain pizza. To top it off, I suffered from horrific stomach issues for the entire next day. The lobster ravioli was delicious, and the freshly made sundried tomatoes added a little extra structure to balance the plate. The single layer lasagne was really interesting. It came out as a large sheet - fresh spinach pasta sheets, layered with a delicious bolognese sauce, and topped with pesto and bechamel. Unconventional? Yes. Delicious? YES! We called farm star and heard surprisingly good news about the care they take when preparing gluten free pizzas, so we rushed down. Upon arriving, the staff was friendly. You could tell they had just had a rush and were restocking their self serve tables with plates, silverware, and water cups. The dining area is spacious and friendly. There is also outdoor seating for warmer days. We ordered the pig & shroom and I explained that I have celiac. They were very accommodating and explained their precautions. They also recommended the baked Brie appetizer with pear slices instead of crostini - a perfect combination! While it was a little pricey, the food was high quality and tasted delicious.
