I used to go to the Woodstocks in SLO quite a bit back in the day. I have always loved their pizza, and their salads are pretty much always killer too. When I saw Chico had a Woodstocks, I had to visit! We got a small salad and a personal pizza (the even do half/half on personals!). Service was friendly and prompt, and our drinks and salad came out quickly. I did an "upgrade" on my cocktail to add an additional shot for $3 (visiting Chico after all!) and it was perfect! Great addition! Greek salad was super fresh and delicious! Lots of great flavorful veggies, and a great dressing. Our personal pizza came out a few minutes later, and was still dangerously hot! I love it when I get food that is so fresh it is still piping hot! Pizza was awesome - plenty of toppings, and the classic curled/folded crust is still a hit! Awesome! Always glad to see these old institutions holding up! Woodstocks is a classic! On another note - they were doing live music and letting local bands play on one side of the restaurant - and drew a crowd on the street and across the street! I love to see businesses that support the arts -and this really added to the lively and festive atmosphere! Good on you Woodstocks! Ordered a pizza that had balsamic vinaigrette, and it was drenched, it was so overpowering we were unable to eat it even after trying to soak some of the vinaigrette in napkins. It was $44 for a medium half pepperoni half cheese pizza and a caesar salad (including delivery fee, tax, and a 20% tip). The delivery driver was friendly. She had everything in my order. Woodstock's in the past has taken money off if you get it without chicken, which is what I have done before. This was my first time getting the chicken. It looked and tasted like it was frozen and then boiled. Not grilled. It was the worst chicken I have ever had from an establishment ever. A quarter of the chicken was a disgusting fat substance that I've never seen on chicken before. It's possible it is lab grown chicken it is so gross. The pepperoni also had a piece of bone in it that I bit on. The only thing left to order from woodstock's is a cheese pizza and ranch. read more

First time here. And it was Easter Sunday. Glad they were open. Ordering was simple. Order at counter and they bring food to your table. Cashier gave us 15% off once he found out it was our first time there. Food was decent. Different flavored pizzas. Not my style but the people I was with enjoyed their pizza. I was very excited to try this pizza, I was not let down. At first I thought it was going to be thick and heavy, but I was wrong, the crust is crispy on the outside and so soft and fluffy in the inside, the sauce was so good and all the toppings as well. The garlic bread was so fluffy, crispy on the edges and so garlicky! So good! I really liked that they had a lot of dressings to go on the pizza like ranch, buffalo ranch and a lot of hot sauces. My only disappointment was the cleanliness of the place, it looked like nobody had swept the floor in a while, they also didn't have napkins on the tables or on their counters, but the waiter was fast to get us some when we requested them. They have vegan cheese which is always a nice surprise. But the pizza is mediocre at best, they forgot to add the tomato which from other pics typically come on the pizza that I ordered. Lots of seating - the outdoor area is super cute. Unfortunately there were some individuals who were not patrons of the location walking around the patio and covered patio, causing a disturbance as well as harassing myself and other guests - which really took some stars off this review. All the cool cities have a Woodstocks. I went to school at San Diego state and that's where I first found Woodstocks. I was lucky because when I transferred to Chico state back in the day there was a Woodstocks in town too. Back in 2000 their location was tiny but their new place is huge with a big patio which is great to drink beer and relax on. Nothing beats a good beer and some Wildebread. I'm glad that places like Chico, Davis, San Diego and Santa Cruz all have Woodstocks because the best cities in CA should have the best pizza places. Also, back in the late 90s early 2000s if you went in on your birthday you got your age as a percentage off your bill. My 23rd birthday was wild because we got 23% off our bill. Bring back birthday percentages Woodstocks! I'll bring my mom for her 78th birthday and we'll tear it up! read more

Literally the worst Pizza you could ever order! The dough is soft like play-doh. It's like it's uncooked and then died on the outside to look like it's been baked. It's chewy and bizarre! I often came here for cheap pizza and drinks to have a good time with friends and family when I was a university student. And now, 8 years later, I'm still frequenting this place - I come here at least once a month. When I was a student, it was at a different location. It's a little trickier to get to the new location, but the restaurant does look much more modern now. And roomier too. Now, the pizza! I love the classic Pepperoni. Who doesn't? It's always nice and hot! And cheesy! A there's a little bit of a spice from the pepperoni. But don't worry! It's just a little, little bit of spice. Another pizza I like is the Garlic Bird (contains white sauce, chicken, garlic, tomato, etc.). It's also delicious. Garlic flavor, deliciously tender chicken, refreshing tomato. I'm savoring it as I think about it. Oh, and every Tuesday they offer a BOGO on pizzas. That's another thing I like about Woodstock's. Buy one whole pizza, get another one free. This is probably the second or third time we've been to this establishment and we have never been disappointed. This time we brought family from the Bay Area. After a wonderful time at the park 10 minutes away, we treated our visiting family to some pizza. We have read concerns and complaints about service but I wonder if it is because there is so much going on and orders may not be clear. We found the service helpful, and extra patient. The food came in a timely manner and was very delicious. The pizza especially is the highlight of the whole meal. We love how the end of the crust is folded over in a way that inside the crust there is cheese and sauce as well. This makes for a wonderful eating experience as well as preventing waste. One of the pizzas we ordered was fully plant based and they were able to make the cheese melt close to the consistency of dairy cheese. We left two empty servings of pizza and we're very happy. This area is located in the middle of a college town so it is bustling. However, it is very clean and Placed at the corner of a well-known street. Another thing that really impressed me was how workers would constantly come out to check in on the quality of our visit. I really appreciate when there is good customer service. If you are visiting this area, be sure to stop by this restaurant. They have everything for everyone in the family including arcades located in the back as well as outdoor seating which gives you a more encounter with this town. I hit this place every time I am in town because the beer is iced cold and the pizza is incredible. The restaurant has very spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas. The service is always spectacular. It's obvious management here is good to their folks because they're always so happy and friendly. They give great recommendations for food and spirits. Came here around 12:30am after a show at the Senator. Lots of foot traffic and good vibes. I remember having Woodstocks pizza in Davis when I lived there and remember it being delicious. The staff was super friendly and the food came out quickly. The quality was top notch. We stayed until about 1:30am and walked down the street to our hotel. Over all, love this place! Woodstock's feels like the quintessential neighborhood pizza parlor. We dined here this past weekend for lunch and both ordered the meal deal: salad, slice, & soda. Prices have sure gone up in recent years! We carried the slices directly from the counter to our table... no waiting. They were large, probably 1/6 of a large pie... the crust was pillowy soft, and even though I prefer it a bit thiner & crispier, it was tasty nonetheless. Salads arrived to our table after we were nearly done with our slices, which felt a little delayed considering they were lettuce + side of dressing. I prefer a salad as a starter, but our slices would have been cold had we waited. Overall, it was a pleasant lunch on the patio while we watched the bicycles flying by during the Chico Stage Race. I think my personal pizza tastes would draw me elsewhere, but I can certainly see this being a great patio for dining with friends when better weather arrives. read more
