We went to Pizza Guys about a week ago and it wasn't the best experience. Our pies took much longer than we were told and I wasn't impressed with the taste. The prices were a little steep (I know...what isn't) but definitely not worth the mediocre "chain style" flavor you get. The highlight was the service. The people working inside were very friendly and apologized for the late pizzas. They hooked us up with a 2 liter because of it so that was cool. Otherwise, I don't think the pizzas or the prices are good enough for a return trip. read more

Did a google search for "pizza" in the area, hoping to find a spot with lunch specials, as I just wanted a good slice. Unfortunately Pizza Guys doesn't offer that, they are a take out place, but what caught my attention was "I didn't know there was a pizza place here" which caused me to do a lil research and realized they had recently opened, and were offering a special on their small personal pizza. Placed the order on their website.... By time I got there, I had received notification my order was ready. Walked in to a nice clean new place. Smells were good. Young lady who handed me my order was very friendly and she informed me they had barely been open two weeks at that point. Pizza and crust were delicious. Definitely satisfied my pizza craving. Pizza places are a dime a dozen but Pizza Guys is definitely worth checking out. read more

1st time here thought I would try something new. Zero customer service. Took food an additional 25 minutes to be done. Ordered pizza, lemon pepper wings and a salad. They were out of wings and gave me boneless flavorless chunks of chicken. Said they could refund me but not until tomorrow when a manager would be there. No dressing for the salad. The kids working there looked like they were hustling but service was slow. People waiting in the lobby for phone in/ online orders. Pizza was nothing special, bland boxed pizza crust. Always been a fan of pizza guys. They have a location near my parents in Northern California and was happy to hear they opened up a location near me. The pizza was ok, but over $30 for a large pizza with one topping was way too high. I had the Tuscany thin crust and it tasted good, but not for that cost. It's a newer shop so it's clean and nice, but they are take out only. They did cook the pizza quickly which was nice, but the young lady working at the counter spoke so softly she was impossible to hear. Please don't get me wrong, she was nice and seemed friendly, but whispered when she spoke. We tried Pizza Guys for the first time tonight. We decided to walk in and place an order because it said it'd be about 30 minutes faster for take out rather than delivery. The staff was friendly when we walked in and we were immediately greeted. There was only one other person in the lobby at the time. We placed our order and the computer wouldn't process the order. We had to replace our order and then the card machine didn't work. In all, it probably took 10 minutes for us to finally pay, no biggie. Staff was very apologetic. However the man that was there who I assume was the owner, didn't try to help his very flustered staff as she was struggling with the card machine. A manager finally came over and assisted her. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait. We walked to the nearby stores and shopped around. We went back at the 30 minute mark and the food wasn't ready. Again, no biggie. After about 15 minutes of extra wait time, other customers in the store started to complain. It was getting pretty tense in there and once again, the man without uniform and in a regular red shirt, did nothing to help the staff. He just kept saying "we're a little behind." As he stood watching the chaos unfold. The other employees handled the rush well and kept it moving although you could see how stressed they were. There were probably 10 people in there with the same complaints. "We received a text that our food was ready but we've been waiting for 15+ minutes" We eventually received the text that our order was ready. We went to the counter and the lady said it actually wasn't ready and she's not sure why we got the text. Our pizzas weren't even in the oven at that time! So we sat back down and waited. The lady who was sitting beside us said she ordered online, came to pick up her food and it wasn't actually ready. She'd been waiting for now over an hour. We finally were handed our food right at the hour mark. I have absolutely no problem waiting for pizza, believe me lol. I just ask that you give customers a semi accurate wait time. It would crowd your small seating space a whole lot less AND you'd have happier customers. Don't send out texts until the pizza is actually out of the oven and ready for pickup. Especially those who are sitting in the lobby. All in all I give it a 3/5 stars. The Pizza was pizza, it was pretty average. We ordered a large cheese, personal chicken garlic, personal pepperoni and the garlic cheese rolls. It came out to $95 which is steep considering it's nothing fancy. I would not order the rolls again as they were pretty flavorless. I would come back for the garlic chicken pizza but that's about it. My complaints which I hope are addressed- The wait time accuracy and the man who stood around and did nothing while his staff was very clearly in need of some assistance. read more

I have been waiting for this place to open since I saw the sign go up. I went there today for the first time and it did not disappoint! I was able to sign up for an online account and order ahead of time. I got the veggie pizza and it was delicious. You can tell everything was super fresh and they take pride in what they do. When I went to pick up the pizza it was ready on time and the owner came out to greet me and was super friendly. This is my new favorite local pizza joint. read more

My husband went to pick up our order, it was 40 minutes past the time we were told it would be ready. He said that everyone else had their name called out except for his. I'm not a fan of rating food places based on pricing so the above rating is based on taste and quality. That said, I note that the food here is way overpriced, even with the specials. I think I saw a review saying that this chain is generous with its toppings. My pet peeve is seeing bare spots in the middle of my pizza (i.e., spots where I can see the actual base crust without any cheese or toppings because that just means the place skimped on the toppings). Pizza places should adhere to a minimum standard of at least covering the entirety of a pizza (excluding the outer crust) with cheese and toppings and they should adjust their pricing as needed to accomplish that (I don't mind paying for quality). But pizza places should never put out "partial" pizzas that have "bald spots." Both of my pizzas had bare spots. Unacceptable, especially given that how expensive the pizzas were (around $18 each before tax and tip). I'm frankly shocked at the poor quality because I would think that this place would be putting it's best foot forward because it only opened recently. In terms of taste, the pizza was OK. Nothing memorable, other than that it was very chewy (which you might like). I thought I saw a review praising the crispiness of the pizza, but my pizzas were not crispy at all. The pizza is like airport pizza. It's there if you're hungry and don't have alternatives, but, in my view, it's not worth going out of your way for (or overpaying for . . . even if it were free, it might not be worth eating if you're watching your calories/health). read more

Some of the best pizza I've ever had! Pizza was perfectly crispy and the ratio of cheese to sauce was great. I got mango habanero drizzle on top and loved it. I also tried the jalapeno cheese bread and it was so good. Customer service was amazing. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Even though it was very busy the line moved quickly. I ordered a large (14") original crust pizza with pepperoni, black olives, red onion, jalapenos, and mushrooms. I thought it was a bit ridiculous that they charge the same amount for every additional topping regardless of if it's meat or vegetables ($2.75/topping). My total ended up being $39.59 for this one pizza (I didn't use any coupons). They forgot the jalapenos which was disappointing. The best part of my experience was getting a complimentary 2 liter soda with my pick up order that was more than $25. The pizza itself tasted alright. The crust was chewy and not that crispy. The cheese was a bit gummy, and the sauce was fine. Overall, it was worse than Domino's in basically every way (in my opinion), including the price. I'll agree with other reviews that the staff are friendly, but that doesn't make up for the lackluster food. read more
