Man, I had not been here in awhile. Back in the day, this would be our go to spot after gambling at the Casino in Hawaiian Gardens. My girlfriend like it here too. I ordered us a Pepperoni Pizza with everything on it. It was kind of a packed house tonight. It was just me and her, and we still had a good night. They have a nice pool table inside, and good beer here too. They have nice Smart Tvs to watch the games. Its a fun family atmosphere. Love the pizza and the service. I'm so disappointed with the service here. I'm sure owning and running a business may require you working 7 days a week 15-18 hour days and that is hard on a person. This is a great local pizza place. I keep going back there for pizza and dinners Luke Chicken Parm. This time I tried their calzones. I got a 6 inch meatball and a 6 inch Hawaiian. Yes I'm a fan of pineapple on pizza. The meatball canzone was great but the hawaiian was lacking. Rather get a hawaiian pizza then a calzone. Next time I'll get the 12 inch meatball calzone. Valentino's sauce is the star of the show. That's the gold standard to judge a pizza place for me. The sauce is great! Then you have the dough. The dough is great! They cook it up nice and crispy. I have driven past this place for years and never tried it until recently. I called in my order and place it easily. It was ready in the time quoted. However, I feel like there was a price discrepancy or at least this was a very expensive large pizza. Toppings were generous and fresh but overall the crust lacked flavor. Very authentic Italian food here at Valentino's in Los Alamitos, CA. Been here several times, this week I tried the Lasagna with bread and salad!! Excellent The owner Ely is a hands on operator/owner! Where else can you find a gentleman who is experienced in his craft and takes it seriously! this is not a chain pizza store. Ely takes pride in his craft and it shows in the food! Looks great, tastes awesome! Love the old skool pizza makers. It's a lost art, and getting harder to find these hidden gems! Thanks Ely!! The chicken Alfredo was delicious and came with a huge garlic bread that is freshly baked to perfection with the best herbs and its so soft! The Greek salad was also beyond expectation! Just purchased a building down the street from Valentino's and we're very happy we found it. We have lots of meetings and pizza is always an easy one that everyone likes! Wanted to give a review because this was the absolute best pizza I have ever had!! The quality of the toppings was amazing and the cheese was very good. I didn't get to take a picture of it BUT TRUST ME IT WAS GOOOOD!! Almost forget the wings were absolutely delicious as well. I have been a patron for more than 30 years. Lee makes his own dough with 5 ingredients. The cheese is true mozzarella... (I have worked in the kitchen personally). Customer service during our phone order and pickup were friendly and spot on. Our pizzas were perfect with the right amount of char. Called to place an order w/ this coupon & told it's not them & they don't offer it, must be on the wrong website. I clicked the link to call them directly b/c the coupon wouldn't let me order online and let him know. He said let me check and said no, we do not offer that. I said I can send a screenshot of their website with it but they said no & kept denying & wouldn't let me use it. Ended up ordering Amecis.
