Update 1/31/26: Finally tried this place out in person. I'd just finished Volunteering in RSM, and, was hungry. I made the decision to finally check out Subs & Grub in person. When I arrived, there was a couple ahead of me, and one girl behind the counter. I perused the menu, though I knew what I wanted ahead of time. The couple ahead of me finished ordering, and the girl behind the counter greeted me, and took my order, the Classic TBAC, along with two Apple Juices. I mentioned I'd been looking to try out their place in person, and she asked how I'd heard of them? I told her I had previously ordered through Grubhub. My sandwich arrived at the same time as the couple ahead of me, and was as delicious as my first experience with the Classic TBAC. The meat was flavorful, and the fillings, and dressing made for a great lunch! The inside is pleasant, and clean, with enough seating for small lunchtime groups, and isn't loud, at all. The place itself is located in a quiet mini strip mall, and is easy to miss, unless you know it's there. There is, however, a small sign posted at the driveway entrance pointing the way. This is my new favorite sandwich spot located in Cypress. Went here for a lunch meet up and so glad I came. Their subs are to die for with a soft warm bread pack with delicious goods. I ordered the Classic TABC which came with tomatoes, smashed avocados, bacon, and cheese. They used top notch turkey meat from Boars Head. Freshly made right in front of you after placing your order at the register. I also bought the refreshing Jarritos soda in guava flavor. Truly balanced out well with my sandwich. Service provided from the two kind ladies were wonderful. We had a group of ladies and they were so quick to serve us all. Subs and grub is a woman owned and operated Sandwich shop. I had the TBAC, but without the bacon and the cheese. The sandwich was amazing. It's a nice big sandwich and I could only eat half of it. I'm definitely coming back here again. There's lots of seating inside which was perfect for our Womens group to meet up there. The service was really fast as well. Incredible homemade sandwiches! Walked in here with my Dad and we got a TBAC and an Italian. Omg, the sandwiches disappeared in minutes, it was so good, the greatest thing is that it wasn't a hard sand-which, it was so soft and fresh and just incredible in flavor. Service was really great as well, we got greeted by the owner and honestly she was really nice you can tell that she loves to interact with her customers. It's been a few years since my last time @ Subs & Grub, and I know it's changed hands a few times now, but let me say that for anyone who is on the fence, the new/current owner is serving up some quality product. I came in by chance after the post office and met the new owner, and she is putting love into her craft. I picked up an Italian, and it was one of the best I've had in some time. Quality meat and veggies, a perfect ratio of oil and vinegar/sauces, served on a soft bread roll. The place is clean and simple, with plenty of seating for the lunch rush. This place is tucked away a bit in the old shopping center where the Cypress South USPS is, but I promise it's worth the stop-in, and if you're a local Cypress resident who, like myself, sort of forgets, try to remember so we can help support our own. :) read more

This is truly an exceptional sandwich spot here in cypress. Me and my wife came with the baby to get some lunch and the food and service were both incredible. The sandwiches were much larger than we were expecting and made to perfection. We both got the Classic TBAC (Turkey bacon avocado and cheese) and they were amazing. They use boars head lunch meat which is always the best. The potato salad we got on the side was also incredible and made him house. The ambiance in the restaurant was nice, music playing, good lighting and plenty of space between tables. Brianne is woman that made our sandwiches and took our order and she was great. Explained everything to us and was friendly. Some other things that are great is its sleek location. Not too busy, easy parking and they use all glass for their drinks! Glass always taste better. I've been coming here for many, many years (and the original first Subs n Grub on Lincoln when it was first opened), and I really really wanted to give them a glowing review with 5 stars, but sadly I cannot. First I must say, the new owner is a very sweet young lady, and I truly believe she has her heart in her business. I came here months ago after the new owner took over and while I was disappointed with that visit, I figured she was new so I'd give her some time to work out the bugs. So I just went back to get my usual avocado and bacon sub. First the good, the bacon was tasty and nice and crispy. The shop is nice and clean and obviously well cleaned regularly. Now the problems... I was asked what I want on it and I ordered tomato lettuce mayo and onion, they asked if I wanted Italian dressing and I said no. Unfortunately they put Italian dressing on it but I didn't say anything and I ate it as it was made. The biggest issue is they've changed the bread they use, now the roll is MUCH smaller (about half the size/height and thickness), and it's "doughy", almost soggy feeling (I don't think the sogginess is from the dressing, it's just the way the bread is. They also don't have any diet or sugar free drinks, nor any bottled water. In fairness to the owner, she did bring me a glass of tap water, but typically I do not drink tap water (not even in my house) and I choose to always drink filtered or bottled water. Being diabetic I avoid drinks with sugar (I usually drink bottled water or unsweet tea, unfortunately there were only high sugar drinks available. It was 1:00 when I arrived and it was empty, maybe their being slow is why they don't have any other options for drinks. I honestly hope they can make it, but they need to go back to some basics including fresh, proper bread. I don't mind that my sandwich cost $18.00 (which is high for a sub, especially considering all the competition), but for that price the bread should be fresh and of an appropriate size, and hopefully they can afford to have sugar free drinks in the future. read more

Went here because their meatball sandwiches get rave reviews. Went to order 2 meatball sandwiches only to be told they don't have that today. So I left. Overall bad experience and waste of time. Very good sandwiches that are not light on the fillings. Boars head meats and the 12 inch sandwiches feeds two. Bread was fresh and had a good flavor. My only two issues is the Italian sub I had a little too much lettuce and would like to have seen a little more meat. The second is it was $18 for a 12 inch. This can be dealt with by splitting the sandwich or saving half for latter. I will also say that my friends pastrami sandwich had a lot more meat than my Italian and looked good. Wasn't to happy coming to subs n grubs today. The young gentleman that was helping was touching many things with his gloves, that's a big no no for me-cross contamination with tuna and bacon and ham. He didn't bother to change his gloves. Then he was putting bacon, using the same gloves to touch the shredded cheese from the bag to the container and then says he ran out of bacon and told me I have to wait 8 mjns for the bacon. This location is not prepared they were out of mustard, I had to ask him can you look in the back for mustard. I wonder if the worker has his food serve card.
