This is my family's spot for pizza delivery! For many reasons. 1st reason, the taste. We have tried a few other spots in the area and they're just not that great. 2nd reason, the price. Pizza Guys has great specials and the free soda or ice cream when you pick up orders over 20 dollars. So much cheaper than Mountain Mike's, which used to be my favorite until I kept getting delayed deliveries and cold pizzas all while spending more. 3rd reason, the VERY SPEEDY delivery time. Pizza Guys never has problems finding my apartment and delivering my pizza without disturbing me to find my location. My pizzas are always hot and fresh and arrive on time always. Ordered a pizza for delivery...told if would be here in 40 minutes. 1 hour and 10 mins later I call and they don't care that I don't have it yet. No offer to make it right just told it will be there in 10 mins. So 1 hour 20 mins that's twice the time originally given. Asked to speak to manager and got hung up on. Update decided to give them one more shot. Ordered 4 pizzas for delivery. After an hour and nothing called to only be told they hadn't even started yet and it would be another 30 mins. Placed my order through the yelp app. I am beyond impressed. email telling me how long my pizza would take was right on. They got here just when they said they would. Now to my food. I have to say that pizza's are hit and miss around here. Yet these guys where awesome. The pizza size was perfect. Usually when I order its either too small or to large. Yet this one was just perfect. The wings where pretty good. Very flavorful. I order the hawaiian pizza. Got to say all the ingredients where good. My only thing is that the pine apple tasted like it came from the can. Yes I know most pine apple from pizza places probably comes from a can. Yet they dont normally taste like they did. The pizza would have been perfect if it wasnt for this very very small detail. Yet it was better than all the other places I've gotten delivery from. Ordered 15 minutes before they stopped accepting orders for the night, at 8:45, and for some reason Pizza Guys thought it was okay to change our pizza order from ASAP (tonight) and rescheduled delivery for 10 fucking AM tomorrow morning. Who wants a pizza delivery in the morning? Not to mention that my husband and I hadn't eaten anything all day and we thought the order went through and was on its way, not being sent to a que for tomorrow morning. After we called to correct the delivery time to tonight, because it's our breakfast lunch AND dinner, the idiot employee told us Grub Hub were the ones who changed the delivery schedule, when it was actually just a lazy piece of crap employee at Pizza Guys not wanting to work. I love this pizza guys! All the employees are super nice and great customer service! They are really nice even greet me by my name and when Im walking out the door everyone says bye to me! They have made my order wrong and they give me the same meal free the next time I order! They are the best,I come here about every week Update! I've worked 10 years in customer service so I understand customers, but this was over the top rude! So it's Sunday we have people over for football and order a pizza! We got a mushroom and sausage pizza with chipotle sauce. So we all grab one and we all start eating and noticed we don't have sauce on the pizza so we call and tell them, and right off the bat they said they tried to call us but didn't tell us why! And then we had told them "hey there's no sauce on the pizza " and replies "we did put it on it's under the cheese" when clearly there's no sauce. So after 10 mins of us telling him there's no sauce he sends us a new pizza and brings us something completely different from he described he did on the first pizza! I've ordered from here so many times since moving to the area and never had any issues. Until tonight. I know it's Christmas but some people don't have families to visit, so I ordered some pasta from the only pizza place near me that was open. I placed my order at 5pm. Received a delivery time of 6:17. Didn't receive my order til almost 7pm. And that's after I called the restaurant and requested an update on this app, which claimed that a driver had already left the store with my order. I received a call from my driver finally and he asked for the gate code. I had put it in the order info but repeated it to him before he entered it and promptly hung up on me. So finally, 2 hours later, I received my food. The best part of this entire situation? There's a short black hair in my pasta. I will never order from here again. read more

I love getting pizza from here, it's always fresh and warm and a greta price. Plus, the free two liter or ice cream when you order to pick up. It's a great marketing tool for a pizza place. The staff here is always friendly and helpful when going in to order or picking up an order. I will always get pizza from here as long as I live in the area. Update to this review. So when she called to complain, they brought over another pizza, which was a lot better, and included a free soda. This is great customer service and shows that they were willing to go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied. I was lucky because I was the first one in before massive storm of dinner time pizza-eaters and especially since they had only 1 guy working. He was amazing at multi-tasking. He efficiently made pizzas, answered phones and he washed his hands every time. Which goes to show that he does care about his job and keeping it. (I've seen too many multi-taskers at pizza places skip the hand washing step, it's unsanitary and grosss). Anyways, I got an extra large chicken bacon ranch pizza and an extra large vegetarian. Pros: Pizza tasted great, it's a week later we still have left overs. Fairly quick service considering it was a one man multi-tasking show. Cons: The tomatoes weren't fresh (a weird orange-y color), and the vegetarian was a bit lackluster in the taste department. The slices were also uneven when it was cut. We would have large, large slices and then really weird shaped tiny slices. It made me wonder and everyone I was with, how did he cut it? Pizza artistry I suppose. I would definitely come back. Okay, this review has some mixed feelings involved since I've ordered from this place several times and have had great experiences (one delivery guy even complimented my neighborhood, which says something because I hate my neighborhood) on previous visits, but quite literally had my worst pizza experience EVER on my most recent order. I'd been having a rough day (the kind of day that only happens with a sick 4 year) when I placed an order for 2 large pizzas so my family would have cold pizza for lunch or dinner tomorrow as well as hot pizza today. My order came right on time, though my driver didn't seem to happy about it. He handed me 2 pizzas, I handed him my debit card, he made an impression of it with the side of his pen and our transaction was over. I walked back inside my house and made the most unsettling discovery of my pizza eating life... Not only was our pizza the wrong pizza (we ordered pepperoni and got pepperoni and sausage) but a SLICE was missing. How freakin' gross is that? I'm not even kidding. I actually opened the box, closed it and opened it again because I couldn't believe I received a pizza with a slice missing. As a relatively normal human being I grew up with pizza being my favorite food from ages 5-20 (or whenever I discovered real food). Therefore, having survived my formative, yet misguided early years I am someone who has ordered many a pizza in many states of inebriation. Therefore, I am confident in saying that although my other pizza was tasty...there should NEVER be a slice missing - period. I think it's clear from my last paragraph that I called this place back explained the grossness (is that a word? No? Well it is now.) of receiving the wrong pizza with a slice missing at a temperature I can hardly call warm. The lady on the other end was apologetic and promised me a correct replacement pizza in 30 minutes at no charge. In about 20 minutes I had a delivery driver at my door with a hot and correct pepperoni pizza and another apology for the inconvenience. Overall, I'm not sure how to feel. Their prices are completely fair for their pizzas but I can't say that I'm jumping at the chance to call in another order here. read more

I've been a pizza guys customer since I moved to San Jose after college. And it was one of the few things I got to keep when I moved out here. This franchise is awesome. They don't skimp in toppings, the dough is always handmade, and those abundant toppings? they taste as good as something you'd get at an upscale mom and pop place. It's nice to order artichokes and actually see the artichokes. The prices for delivery/takeout really can't be beat by any other delivery places. The cheesy bread almost never has any leftovers, and is a MUST. My husband thinks I'm nuts, but I prefer them to round table, and not just because it's half the cost. My second experience with Pizza Guys was outstanding. The pizza was hot, fresh and delicious! The quality of the dough and freshness of the toppings is far and above the common chain pizza restaraunts. Horrible customer service. Went to the location on North Texas in Fairfield and placed an order for about $60 worth of pizza. The woman at the counter said would you like to have a free ice cream. I told her no thank you but is it possible to swap for a cookie and pay for the difference. She asked her manager who came to the counter and was immediately extremely rude and talked to me like i was a toddler. I let him know there was no need to be rude and he continued being rude and let me know that i was trying to break policy. I asked one simple question that only needed a simple answer not a rude condescending response. I immediately cancelled my order and walked out. That is my last trip to that location. I left and went to the Dominos across town and received excellent customer service. Pizza Guys lost a customer. read more
