The sandwiches are good. I love that it's family owned. It's very cute and quaint inside. However, we had terrible service for our first visit. We ordered two basic turkey sandwiches to go. Right after our order, the counter staff changed. We waited 25 minutes to get our sandwiches. We watched about 5-6 customer that came in after us get their food before us. Finally we said something and asked if our sandwiches are done or not. They were sitting in a corner on the counter the entire time. They never called our name. Everyone else was getting their sandwiched hand delivered by the staff. We thought it was wild that they don't just call out your name when your order is ready. Located in downtown Vacaville, parking can be a little hard if it's during lunch hours but you will eventually find somewhere to park! Was greeted by a gentleman cleaning the tables outside. This is a great little deli! I stopped in for lunch one day and ordered a muffuletta sandwich, and chips. My sandwich was filled with meat, cheese, olive spread and served on lightly toasted focaccia bread. The was very filling and the olive spread had a nice zesty kick. The chips were lime and pink salt flavored and made by a company named San Carlo. I enjoyed the flavor and were not at all greasy. The sandwich was on special that day, so the whole meal cost me $15.25 before tax. The service was good and the restaurant had some fun decor to look at while I waited. I was feenin' for some Dutch Crunch, and La Borgata popped up as Yelp recommendation. Gave it a try and I left happy. Went with the Abruzzese since I love turkey and salami. Bread was delicious and the ingredients all tasted fresh. Wife had the Panino Cotto (prosciutto) on Italian. She enjoyed hers as well Sandwiches are enough to fill you up or you can save the other half for later. Tried this spot for the first time. My mom and I shared the #1. It's hard to find Italian Mortadella with pistachios these days so I had to try it. It was so delicious! I came here La Borgata Italian Deli to meet a friend on a Friday around 3pm. This Italian deli is a great place to get a cup of coffee, Italian sandwich or a pastry. Employees are all super nice and helpful. The vibe is a good small European cafe feel with nice decor. There were plenty of people in and out and people meeting for a cup of coffee and chit chatting. Seems like lots of locals come here to meet friend and have a nice conversation. I have the Sottomarino Sandwich (#4) which was very tasty. The bun was soft and not chewy. Oh what an awesome sandwhich joint right under my nose in Vacaville! This spot is less than 10 min from our house and after living here for 3+ years I finally went. My wife had been a few times and she loved it so we decided to go today and the sandwich was great! We both got the number 4 and it was so tasty. Went here for lunch it was our first time here. We were greeted right away. They had a pretty decent Menu in had the vegetarian sandwich #9 and my bf had the chicken Sriracha. It was a pretty basic sandwich on white bread. The dessert case looked delicious though! They also have meats that you can get sliced to take home. I was really impressed when I saw the homemade ravoli's in a fridge in the lobby with soups too. They looked delicious. Who doesn't love a good Italian deli? And when you don't need to make the trip to San Francisco, that makes it all the more better. Which takes me to the Northern California city of Vacaville where I finally got around trying "La Borgata Italian Deli". Nestled in the heart of downtown Vacaville directly on Main St. and in between Parker and Dobbins St's, this place has been dishing out its signature Italian sandwiches dating back to 2010. This location is wonderful as it lets you venture into the original part of Vacaville and not the more frequently traveled areas such as Nut Tree Plaza and the ever-popular Vacaville Outlet stores. Furthermore, this part of town has a ton of small family-owned and operated businesses while being adjacent to Ulatis Creek and Andrews Park. I arrived here during the afternoon of Saturday 6/17/2023 right at noon. Parking was easy to find as I only walked 1/2 block to get here. As far as the exterior, the white/green striped awning made this place very recognizable and easy to identify. You will also find several outdoor tables and chairs for the more comfortable Vacaville afternoons. On the inside, there are many more tables and chairs for dining in as well as a lot of Italian-inspired memorabilia. I saw several books on Italy, Italian pasta and sauces, and several bottles of Italian wine. They also offer a refrigerated section specializing in raviolis, tortellini, lasagna, soups, and chilled marinara sauce. Since I was in the mood for an Italian sandwich, I went with one of their most popular choices, their "Sottomarino" (for $11.50). This sandwich consisted of black forest ham, hot capicollo, salami, provolone, tomatoes, lettuce, banana peppers, onions, mayo, olive oil, & vinegar on soft French bread. I paired this up with a bag of Kettle chips and a soda. Total price on everything after tax came out to around $17. Since many customers ordered prior to me coming here waiting for their sandwiches, it still only took them about 5 minutes to make my sandwich. As far as the sandwich itself, it was definitely above average with a respectable amount of Italian cold cuts packed inside. It wasn't quite the biggest sandwich as it actually still left me a wee bit hungry after I ate it with the chips & drink but still very tasty overall. However, they offer all the signature Italian meats including mortadella, coppa, and prosciutto. With that said and done, I am giving "La Borgata Italian Deli" an above average four-star rating. The employees truly took pride into making an excellent tasting sandwich. Futhermore, they also carry a respectable amount of salads, soups, desserts, and daily specials. Normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 10am-5pm and Saturday from 9am-3pm. Definitely give them a try if you're in downtown Vacaville. read more

It's such a cute restaurant/deli/market of delicious Italian sandwiches, deli meats and some products. They even serve desserts which is displayed in the front. The CANNOLI was amazing and delicious, it was worth the splurge. They have daily specials and a great variety of specialty sandwiches made with homemade bread.
