I was feenin' for some Dutch Crunch, and La Borgata popped up as Yelp recommendation. Gave it a try and I left happy. Went with the Abruzzese since I love turkey and salami. Bread was delicious and the ingredients all tasted fresh. Wife had the Panino Cotto (prosciutto) on Italian. She enjoyed hers as well Sandwiches are enough to fill you up or you can save the other half for later. Place is small but there was enough seating in and out I'll definitely return for another visit.

I came here La Borgata Italian Deli to meet a friend on a Friday around 3pm. This Italian deli is a great place to get a cup of coffee, Italian sandwich or a pastry. Employees are all super nice and helpful. The vibe is a good small European cafe feel with nice decor. There were plenty of people in and out and people meeting for a cup of coffee and chit chatting. Seems like lots of locals come here to meet friend and have a nice conversation. I have the Sottomarino Sandwich (#4) which was very tasty. The bun was soft and not chewy. Will definitely be back again and bring the family for a little taste of Italy.

I ordered a vegetarian sandwich & added salami toasted sandwich. It was amazing! The guy at the counter convinced me to try the cookies. He was very helpful & polite. Cute deli tucked away downtown Vacaville. Has outdoor seating. I will definitely be back!

I was referred to this adorable Italian deli And the Service was great even though we got there close to closing. I ordered the SOTTOMARINO #4 ... so tasty and freshest French bread with all the fixings .. love .. Thank you La Borgata

Seemed quiet outside but the shop was packed inside. We tried the Romano and Sotomarino that a friendly regular suggested. We also took a slice of tiramisu to go. Worth a try.

Oh what an awesome sandwhich joint right under my nose in Vacaville! This spot is less than 10 min from our house and after living here for 3+ years I finally went. My wife had been a few times and she loved it so we decided to go today and the sandwich was great! We both got the number 4 and it was so tasty. My wife got hers toasted on Dutch crust and I got mine on sourdough untoasted. They were both fantastic but I think the number 4 toasted on Dutch crust is the way to go! Service was also great and the ambiance of the sunny outdoors made for a wonderful lunch with my lovely wife

Id had beverages here a few times but never tried their food until yesterday . They have been rated best deli in Vacaville several times so decided it was time to try . Had one of their veggie sandwiches plus two kinds of cheese. All of the ingredients tasted very fresh , very tasty . Asked if they have potato salad, unfortunately they dont , so had a cup of pasta salad instead. That was excellent as well. Got bottled iced tea and a Pellegrino to drink. The young gentleman at the counter was kind enough bring my order to me at one of their patio tables . Overall excellent quality on both the food and the service- im definitely a repeat customer .

Went here for lunch it was our first time here. We were greeted right away. They had a pretty decent Menu in had the vegetarian sandwich #9 and my bf had the chicken Sriracha. Both sandwiches were delicious. They do serve beer and wine and outside seating. I definitely will go back to try something else. Did I mention they have raviolis and pasta sauce that you can purchase and make at home. So go check this place out.

I highly recommend getting that zapper for the flies because some people can't relax when there's flies around them while they're eating. I decided I will personally just buy myself a purse fly zapper to take care of the problem myself because other restaurants for whatever reason just don't have a fly swatter either, maybe it's not allowed.

It was a first for both of us. The restaurant was located in Downtown Vacaville and I was worried about not finding parking nearby. Luckily, we did find a couple of slots open. The restaurant had a nice Italian-themed decor and we were led to a cozy section towards another part of the restaurant. Nereida ("Neri") was our amazing server. Very friendly and engaging. From their lunch menu I ordered the Spaghetti with Salsiccia $22 and my daughter opted for the Prawn, Fish Tip, Clam Meat Scampi $26. I had a sample of her dish and the lemon butter sauce was tangy and very flavorful. Delicious! I really enjoyed my spaghetti! The salsiccia is the mild Italian sausage, typically made from pork and seasoned with various spices like garlic, onions, sweet peppers, tomatoes, green onion. Overall we had a nice first time experience and Neri, our server, was wonderful! Review #4046

Not that she needs my help or my review for her business, but I offer it gladly and with good credential behind it. 2 1/2 years as a regular there; at least once a week for the missus and I, and with good reason. This is not your ordinary Italian Restaurant and being originally from NYC, and 1st generation born Italian American, I think I can say I know my sauces. Fuso's I suspect is a fusion type restaurant. I never asked. BUT- You can get the usual Italian Fair in appetizers like fried calamari, and main courses like Eggplant or Chicken Parm; both of which are excellent and served a bit different than most places I've eaten in. Their Sauce is excellent, and besides the usual side of angel hair or pasta, you also get a nice portion of fresh vegetable Prima vera, nicely steamed. In the mood for a Poke Dish? FUSO's has it, nicely presented and plentiful. Its called an appetizer but I've had it as a meal. Seafood, salmon, pasta's with a mix of shellfish and nice sized prawns in a red or white sauce, to prime cuts of steak and filet mignons for the hearty carnivore are all here and reasonably priced. Luncheon menus from burgers to daily specials with fresh house salads, a nice wine list, beers bottled and on tap and full service bar to complement your tastes in beverages. The staff at Fuso's is top notch, friendly, great service, and if you have a special request not on the menu-just ask. If it's possible they will make it for you. As if that wasn't enough, Fuso' offers daily Happy Hour drink and food specials starting at 3:30. If you ever find yourself in the Vacaville area, Downtown Vacaville is worth going to and checking out Fuso's.

I finally got the chance to go, and it did not disappoint. We started with two different kinds of garlic bread, and both were absolutely wonderful. I don't typically eat bread because I'm usually not a fan, but I couldn't stop eating it. Luckily, that meant I had plenty of pasta to take home and enjoy later. The two different types of garlic bread we were given were clearly homemade and incredibly fresh! We ordered the chicken fettuccine with a creamy pesto sauce, and it was fresh, homemade, and truly delicious. I found the balance between the pesto and the cream to be absolutely divine. It was the right amount of flavor without being overly rich. I wish that it had come with some steamed broccoli. The other dish we tried was the chicken piccata, which was also very good. The chicken was well seasoned and tender, and the sauce had great flavor and consistency. Overall, Pietro's has more than lived up to its reputation, and I'm so glad I finally got to experience it. Everyone at the restaurant was friendly and made you feel like family. Incredibly attentive, and even the rest of the crowd in the restaurant was so kind, and it just really added to the family-like environment. I highly recommend doing this for a variety of occasions. Family dinners, date nights, or even a celebration, as the restaurant has a few sections that can accommodate large parties. I have someone to mention that they had some televisions and bar seating for those looking for that as well. Unfortunately, we forgot to take photos because we were with a large group and having such a great time. Next time we'll definitely take pictures to add to our post. We had different servers who attended to us and they're both friendly and looked cheerful. We got there towards the end of Happy Hour and was presented with their Happy Hour menu. The menu is small, easy to read and has almost everything we'd want for that time of day - including the drinks. The food is a 'hit' or 'miss'. Here's my review: Drinks: Both the Arnold Palmer and the Cadillac Margarita were good. My lemonade tea wasn't overly sweet and I could definitely taste the lemonade. The pitcher of Cadillac Margarita looks innocent but may give someone a slow and powerful buzz if you're not used to the drink. (4.75 of 5) Charcuterie: This a complete appetizer board. Overall, there were some hits and misses, however, we agreed this is a well thought out appetizer board. (4 of 5) Crispy Brussels Sprouts: This is the best dish here, featuring deeply caramelized, dark golden-brown edges and a nutty, earthy flavor. Their Crispy Brussels Sprouts is also the best we've had. The seasoning is on-point, allowing the texture to show off its crackling, crunchy bite on the outside, contrasted by a tender, melt-in-your-mouth interior. (5 of 5) Seasonal Tacos: "Oh WOW!" The explosion of spicy and tangy flavours balanced by contrasting textures makes this dish "pop". (4.75 of 5) Beet Salad: The colours were lovely, but this beet salad was over-salted. The vibrant dish featuring beets as the main ingredient, balances the earthy sweetness with contrasting textures and flavours. If this wasn't too salty, it would have been more refreshing. (3.75 of 5) Coconut Lime Bouillabaisse (halibut, jasmine rice, spinach, snap pea, pickled shiitake mushroom, coconut lime broth, basil oil): Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Bouillabaisse means seafood. The only seafood we noticed were chunks of halibut, which were delicious. This dish looks and tastes more like an elevated Thai soup dish that cost too much. (3.5 of 5) After walking in, we decided to sit outdoors because of the loud music that was playing. We're glad we did. The overhang on the veranda was well positioned with plants and flowers softening the cement walkway. The weather was pleasant - with a gentle breeze blowing down the corridor. Parking is easy if you arrive early enough. One last note: Back Door Bistro in Vacaville was featured on "Check, Please! Bay Area"

The tandoori chicken was tender and well seasoned -- no dry chicken nonsense here. The butter chicken was exactly what you want it to be: rich, creamy, tomato-forward, and comforting. But the one that caught me off guard a bit was the coconut shrimp -- creamy, slightly sweet, and a little more mild than "medium" heat, probably because of the coconut milk, but still really good. And listen... the butter naan? Fresh, warm, and absolutely necessary. Both the butter chicken and coconut shrimp were made for dipping. No shame in wiping those plates clean. Service was great.
