Mexican Street Corn dip with tortilla chips
    Angel H.

We came here for the Chicago Stuffed pizza. It came highly rated. I like my pizza with all the toppings. However, our friend likes it with just cheese. Since it was his birthday we let him choose. We got the 10 inch small (6 slices) with cheese $26.95. It was enough for the three of us. It was thick, full of cheese and so filling. I ate one piece and I was done. It was excellent though. The crust was crispy. FYI, it takes 30 minutes to make the pizza. For our appetizer we ordered the Mexican Street Corn dip with tortilla chips $11.95. It was good. We all liked it. I also wanted a bowl of Clam Chowder, which they were supposed to be selling that day. They didn't have it. Our server said that they haven't been making it since she's been working there. Service was efficient. She kept the drinks filled.

I was already having a bad day and I figured pizza would make it better. Wow!! Just thrown together, chicken bland, and I'm just disappointed I wish I could get a refund

Cheesy bread sticks .... very good!

This review pains me to write. Pizza House has been one of my favorite places since I first dined there in 2018. Sadly, service and prices have taken a major hit since the pandemic. I understand trying to stay afloat as a business. I know the pandemic made life a lot more difficult. But adding a 4.5% admin fee to every check? Due to "operational costs" , "wages" and "training" ... I don't believe any of that for a second. Especially since my most recent visits in 2024 and 2025 has left the service a lot to be desired. If I'm spending $70+ tip on two personal pizzas and an order of cheesy bread (seriously, these prices are highway robbery), I expect to be given the best services I've ever had anywhere. Looks like that admin fee for training is going nowhere, as no waitress asked us for refills, how our food was, or if we needed anything in both of our most recent visits. In fact, we had to hunt someone down at the bar for additional napkin and refill on our sodas. There was plenty of employees standing around and pacing the restaurant during my most recent visit on 1/30/25. There was no game on that day and the place only had a few tables dining in. However, a busser paced our section every 2 minutes and stared at our table before walking away. Never saying anything. It was to the point where we set up a timer on our phone because it really freaked us out and left us with a bad taste in our mouths. It was eerily creepy. Unfortunately no manager or waitress came by to bring this to their attention. So much for that admin fee being put to use, huh? We were dining in for a special birthday dinner and the whole experience proved that we won't be back during our next visit to Ann Arbor If I wanted to spend that kind of money, I would go to a nicer restaurant with better service and food.

We popped in mid-afternoon between Lunch and Dinner time so it wasn't crowded (and school was out of session). Yet still our waitress was very attentive and took care of us. I had the Twisted Turkey Sandwich and it was amazing. It comes with a lot of options for sides and I choose the chicken Noodle soup. It was old school style with carrots and celery and tasted delicious. I especially liked that it wasn't too salty. Definitely gonna come back here next time we are in town -- hopefully if my kids get to go to U of M.

Tortellini with sauce (lunch sized) for about $16
    Hannah M.

Completely overpriced microwaved food - I ordered the lunch size tortellini for about $16 and it was a decent sized portion but was literally like the tortellini that you'd get in the refrigerated section of the grocery store with sauce from a jar. Delivery was on time and the packaging was decent, but it's just an absolutely insane price for the quality. The dinner portion was something like $25 - not sure how big that would have been but those are fancy restaurant prices for fast food quality. It wasn't terrible, but next time I want microwaved pasta and sauce I'll make it at home for $3 instead of $16. Don't plan on reordering anytime soon.

    Feta Bread

Came here at 2am on a Saturday, service was great and the pizza and breadsticks were exactly what my group needed. We were seated quick and service was fast and efficient. The feta cheese sticks were good and had a lot of feta. The pizza was alright but also pretty good for late night pizza.

We returned 4 years later and I'm happy to say it was just as great. We had a great waiter. Service was excellent. He was so attentive even though there was a large party. The food was great as usual and makes us want to keep coming back again and again! Love it!

It's been awhile since I dined in at Pizza House. We were a party of 15. It was lunch, so most of us ordered from the lunch menu. Pretty straightforward. Our waitress was not friendly and rude. Our table ordered about 6 salads and two people accidentally took each other's salad (dressing). Our one friends said, "oops, I ordered the ranch and he had the Italian dressing." The waitress has no internal monologue and said, you lied (about your order). Ouch! I can't speak for what my friends ordered but my salad and pizza were okay (and pricey). I wouldn't normally choose Pizza House, but with 14 other friends, I was out numbered. Street parking or there is a structure nearby.

My girlfriend doesn't even like pizza. She LOVED Joes. The interior feels like they took the NY location and turned it to a warm break spot for those freezing their a** off and wanted something hot, homemade and FRESH out of the oven. Celebrities like Dua Lipa, 50 Cent, Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Etc. EVERYONE LOVES JOES. Question is, and the most important of them all; does Dave like Joe? I don't know we had beef in kindergarten, let's see if I've finally stiffened up to him. I'm happy to say, a plain cheese pizza with basil does the trick beautifully. Delicious, foldable even though it doesn't flop. The sauce is easy to digest and so is the crust; I ate 5 huge slices and didn't feel a thing, it's so light and sweet. But it's crunchy! I got well done so I knew there wouldn't be any flop jalop. Perfection. Cheese was outstanding, crust showed the beauty in simplicity, the sauce was quite good but still a little too bland. I really wish the sauce POPPED. Another negative factor about this place is that it is DIRTY. Dirty to the honest cashier- Dirty to the floor. But it's okay, I know that the pizza comes out of a 500 degree oven. Any bacteria that might be on my pizza get burned and killed. Such a BEAUTIFUL pie. Loved it. (4/5)

After looking at different caterers, we chose Pizza Replicator to cater the party of 85. We were having trouble working with the venue to allow the caterer to find a place to cook the pizzas. Max contacted the venue and worked out all the details. On the day of the event, he and his staff arrived promptly and started with the appetizers which were outstanding. Once he transitioned to pizza, the pizzas were continuously replaced until everyone had eaten. Everyone raved about the food. We couldn't be happier about hiring Max and his team and couldn't recommend him enough.

In New York, slices are for folding and eating while on the go, because... well... I guess that's what capitalism does to you. Pizza Replicator is replicating none of these pizzas. Nope. It's just a Star Trek TNG inspired pizza concept where Max Sussman gets to have a little bit of fun with seasonal ingredients, dough, and some portable pizza ovens. Personally, I love to support pizza innovation. Max's pizza is about as good as it can be considering it's cooked up in the back of a coffee shop on any given Sunday. More than anything, I want Max to get a permanent home here in A2 with a legit Neapolitan oven where he can really get some better color on the bottoms of those pies. I've had a few of these so far. Italian sausage with pepperoncini, provolone, and broccoli rabe. Brussels and guanciale with aged gouda, fresh mozzarella, and garlic. Soujouk and Za'atar with onion and green zhug. Asparagus and gruyere with meyer lemon, caramelized onion, and pine nuts. Spanish Chorizo, manchego, roasted peppers. My favorite one to date was the meyer lemon. Dang, that was deliciously unexpected! But those crispy nuggets of guanciale were dynamite too! Ultimately, these are designed to be take out pies, and I'm just not a take out pizza kinda guy. Because I believe pizza is best when it's fresh hot now, I grab my pie, b-line to my parked car, and eat the pizza in the driver's seat like a savage beast. Even when I have shown up early for my scheduled pizza pick up, I have had little luck in getting super hot pies with crisp edges and well colored bottoms. Recently I learned that one can request the pizza "well done" and I am looking forward to giving that a try. But I love the culinary creativity and I am happy to keep trying Max's new pies when my Sunday schedule lines up with available pizza slots. One has to keep an eye on the Pizza Replicator Instagram page and move quickly, because these things sell out. I have gotten over my FOMO, and am happy to simply sample these pizzas when the stars align. Which, you know, is why I'm comfortable to share this with the Yelp Community. Max's efforts are hardly a secret as they were just recently covered in the food press. But yet there is no listing on Yelp?
