    Soggy crispy Buffalo Cauliflower Wings

Granted, my expectations was that of another location, however the service was amazing! The setting is the same, however the taste in food fell short. I was looking forward to bragging on another amazing encounter.....

The pizza was good and we liked that every piece was a corner piece. It was a little oily though. We also got a salad and some cauliflower bites. The salad was on the salty side and we didn't love the dressing. The cauliflower bites were also quite salty. We liked the Detroit style pizza though.

This place is great! First visit and we sat at the bar. A friend gave us a free pizza voucher and we had to come try it. The baked meatballs are delicious. Recommended with marinara but you can get meat sauce instead. Comes with four pieces of garlic bread. It's definitely a meal. I would come back for that app with a bowl of minestrone soup and call it dinner. Wednesday is half off glasses of wine. Score!! Food and service is great.

We have returned for another visit since we had a great experience with the delicious pizza and not everyone had a chance to try it last time. I like that there was a gluten free option for my sister. We ordered it and they do take gluten free seriously. Although the crust is not quite the same, it was very good. My family just devoured it all. It was so yummy for my pizza lovers. We'll be back next time we're in town. Highly recommend!

The location itself was nice. The waitress was kind and the food arrived quickly. The portions themselves are very generous-4 squares were more than enough to feed our party of 2. However, the pizza itself was just okay. Maybe it was the specific type we chose, but it was rather underwhelming. It wasn't bad by any means, just did not meet the Buddy's hype we heard about.

First time in Ann Arbor. Loved the food and service was amazing. Very clean inside and out. The server Autumn went above and beyond making sure the order was taken and checked on the food once we started eating

    Michigan Mule - 9/10

We stopped in to Buddy's at the end of our trip. We got a medium salad, Michigan Mule, and 2 -4 square pizzas - the detroiter ( my fav) and the 6 mile. The salad was tossed in their homemade vinaigrette and their crust had the perfect crunch and was very light. Server was great as well.

Antipasto salad. Feeds 3 to 5 (medium)

Fast service, great decor food was fabulous. This salad was a medium and would have fed 3 of us 2 times over alone. The Italian pizza was dynamite 3 pieces left over feeding two but that was with a huge salad so this pie would satisfy two for sure stand alone. The burger was the "Robby Burger" phenomenal tasting burger cooked to order, a happy medium. Robby is drenched with the Buddy's awesome sauce so be sure to get extra napkins. Great meal for a very reasonable price definitely will revisit.

Delicious Detroit style Pizza!! We always stop in if on a road trip they have several locations but I have only been to the Ann Arbor location always have had very good service with friendly staff and delicious pizza my husband does not eat cheese and they are always accommodating and he loves their pizza too. So if in the Michigan area look for a buddy's Pizza you won't be sorry

    The Henry Ford

The pizza was above and beyond my expectations! I ordered the Motown Museum that came with pepperoni and bacon, which is closer to your classic pizza flavor, and I would recommend trying it. My partner loves heavy flavors in his food and ordered The Henry Ford which had a lasagna-like flavor with blue cheese (his favorite cheese). There was plenty of parking in the lot. No wait in the middle of the day at around 3pm. The restaurant was sit down dining and reminded me a lot of BJ's restaurant and brewhouse. The service was good, and the pizza takes about 20 mins to come out.

Traveling and staying in AA, spent a day in Detroit, but missed out on Detroit style pizza so we were thrilled to find Buddy's! We loved the deeper dish, square cuts, and sauce/flavor. We enjoyed some cheesy bread and cocktails first, thank goodness because our pizza took over an hour! If you are at all a cherry lover - get the Michigan Mule - it was sooo good! Also, our first time trying Michigan's own - Vernor's Ginger Ale - it was freaking amazing (kinda like a ginger beer meets cream soda). We had incredibly customer service, despite the wait, she was helpful with our drink orders, left us the leftover Vernor's post cocktail mixing - and checked in frequently with us. We really enjoyed the vibe, food, and minus the long wait, the overall experience!

Came here for some Detroit deep dish pizza! Got a foursquare size of the Sicilian, super 6 mile, and a Greek town. All were excellent. My favorite was the super 6 mile. Took some home, and it tasted just as good the second day.

First time trying Detroit style pizza! Very cute looking place. Our server was excellent and super friendly. Ordered the antipasto salad, chicken tenders, Detroit Public Tv, and Henry Ford. The server let me choose a couple of sauces for the tenders so don't have to just stick with one! The pizza was bready and soft with crunchy sides. I don't eat pizza often but I enjoyed this style of pizza. The Henry ford was really good but I couldn't really taste the blue cheese. The salad came with a ton of salami on top and the I like their vinaigrette dressing. A medium salad is definitely enough or more for at least 6 people (we had 4 and thought it was too much). Would definitely come try another flavor if I get the chance to visit again!

    Cheers

Got takeout and it was a really good Detroit pizza. If I'm not in the mood to make my own, this will be on my list of go to places

My girlfriend doesn't even like pizza. She LOVED Joes. The interior feels like they took the NY location and turned it to a warm break spot for those freezing their a** off and wanted something hot, homemade and FRESH out of the oven. Celebrities like Dua Lipa, 50 Cent, Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Etc. EVERYONE LOVES JOES. Question is, and the most important of them all; does Dave like Joe? I don't know we had beef in kindergarten, let's see if I've finally stiffened up to him. I'm happy to say, a plain cheese pizza with basil does the trick beautifully. Delicious, foldable even though it doesn't flop. The sauce is easy to digest and so is the crust; I ate 5 huge slices and didn't feel a thing, it's so light and sweet. But it's crunchy! I got well done so I knew there wouldn't be any flop jalop. Perfection. Cheese was outstanding, crust showed the beauty in simplicity, the sauce was quite good but still a little too bland. I really wish the sauce POPPED. Another negative factor about this place is that it is DIRTY. Dirty to the honest cashier- Dirty to the floor. But it's okay, I know that the pizza comes out of a 500 degree oven. Any bacteria that might be on my pizza get burned and killed. Such a BEAUTIFUL pie. Loved it. (4/5)

After looking at different caterers, we chose Pizza Replicator to cater the party of 85. We were having trouble working with the venue to allow the caterer to find a place to cook the pizzas. In New York, slices are for folding and eating while on the go, because... well... I guess that's what capitalism does to you. Pizza Replicator is replicating none of these pizzas. Nope. It's just a Star Trek TNG inspired pizza concept where Max Sussman gets to have a little bit of fun with seasonal ingredients, dough, and some portable pizza ovens. Personally, I love to support pizza innovation. Max's pizza is about as good as it can be considering it's cooked up in the back of a coffee shop on any given Sunday. More than anything, I want Max to get a permanent home here in A2 with a legit Neapolitan oven where he can really get some better color on the bottoms of those pies. I've had a few of these so far. Italian sausage with pepperoncini, provolone, and broccoli rabe. Brussels and guanciale with aged gouda, fresh mozzarella, and garlic. Soujouk and Za'atar with onion and green zhug. Asparagus and gruyere with meyer lemon, caramelized onion, and pine nuts. Spanish Chorizo, manchego, roasted peppers. My favorite one to date was the meyer lemon. Dang, that was deliciously unexpected! But those crispy nuggets of guanciale were dynamite too! Ultimately, these are designed to be take out pies, and I'm just not a take out pizza kinda guy. Because I believe pizza is best when it's fresh hot now, I grab my pie, b-line to my parked car, and eat the pizza in the driver's seat like a savage beast. Even when I have shown up early for my scheduled pizza pick up, I have had little luck in getting super hot pies with crisp edges and well colored bottoms. Recently I learned that one can request the pizza "well done" and I am looking forward to giving that a try. But I love the culinary creativity and I am happy to keep trying Max's new pies when my Sunday schedule lines up with available pizza slots. One has to keep an eye on the Pizza Replicator Instagram page and move quickly, because these things sell out. I have gotten over my FOMO, and am happy to simply sample these pizzas when the stars align. Which, you know, is why I'm comfortable to share this with the Yelp Community. Max's efforts are hardly a secret as they were just recently covered in the food press. But yet there is no listing on Yelp?
