I don't often order from Pizza Hut anymore, but this last time I wanted pizza, I decided to try out Pizza Hut again. I ordered a stuffed crust pizza, the garlic cheesesticks, and the lunch meal deal that comes with a personal pan pizza and a drink. I ordered it all for carry out since I live too far for delivery. The woman working the drive through was very nice. (Every time I go through the drive through, the staff are always nice and friendly.) Great vibes while waiting for the pizza as well although some music in the drive through would be a nice touch, but that doesn't take away from anything. When I got home, I realized they had forgot to give me my drink with my meal deal which was partly my fault because I didn't notice right away. It's about a thirty minute round trip to Pizza Hut, so I didn't bother driving back. The food was good, and besides the missing drink, everything was correct. I swear. In March I posted a review on this Pizza Hut. The pizza wasn't right and my Cinnabon's was way over cooked. I spoke with the general manager, Kevin. He wanted to make me another pizza and an order of Cinnabon's. I told him I'd take him up on the offer for the Cinnabon's but not the pizza since we did eat it. Today I got an email from Pizza Hut for any pizza for $12. I ordered extra cheese, with tax and a $5.00 delivery fee, which I think is ludicrous since you're going to tip the driver another $5 anyway, but the total charge was over $20. When I placed it I was informed I didn't meet the minimum food order of $15. I spoke with Kevin again and reminded him of the March incident and that I'd like to pay for the pizza (which he offered to replace) and have an order of Cinnabon's included. Kevin told me I still needed to have a $15 food order. Seriously? I told Kevin to cancel my order and I would no longer do business with them. I do not know why it is so hard to deliver the correct pizza. I ordered a large thin crust MeatZzA and they brought me a pineapple and jalapeño pizza. I called Pizza Hut immediately and told them. Instead of sending someone with the correct pizza like they promised, they did nothing! An hour and 15 minutes later we called them back and we had to tell 3 people our information before someone looked up our order at which time they again offered to remake the pizza and bring it. Over 2 hours after our original online order! We said no at this point we just want a refund. They informed us we could get a credit towards another pizza. Why is it so hard to have good customer service? Why don't people care? Is there any consequence for poor work ethic? The consequence is I will NEVER order from this location again. Period!! Well I ordered a pizza online from the Yelp search but wasn't aware the store location was in Kansas. After getting to the store here in Bay City the employees figured out what happened. If they weren't attentive as they were I'd been without a pizza. The guy behind the counter even helped find the number for the store in KS so I could cancel the order and get refunded and in the meantime he had mine in the oven. Our Bay City Pizza hut is a good pizza place. They have good carry out specials. The staff is mostly young but over all the service is good.

This place stinks -- bread sticks with sauce that came straight from the fridge, asked them to warm the sauce up they disappeared with it and never returned, had to go up and ask for it. My super supreme was so over cooked the crust was crispy. read more

It's pizza hut so you know the pizza is pretty alright. I am reviewing the buffet since I have not ordered delivery from this location. The lunch buffet is only 4.99 and includes a large salad. It gave them 3 stars because the never seem to have the pizza I want out on the buffet. The service is usually good but it can be hard to pay at times. If it wasn't a value I would it would have only gotten two stars. It's hard to beat a full stomach on the cheap though. read more

Deliveries take forever whether it is because they can't find the place or they have a lot of orders. Pizza is mediocre and service is touch and go. Some days it's great some days it's so horrible and hot in that store you walk out or just take it to go. Their wings are best. Any flavor. Wait times are horrible for carry out delivery or eat in. If you aren't patient I don't recommend it. Food still better than dominoes. read more

I usually don't have a problem in the evening here but after visiting this afternoon I ended up walking out. After 15 minutes of waiting for our drink order and noticing the place was empty except for one other table, and also noticing that the waitstaff was just sitting at the bar talking, I just couldn't take it. I ordered a pizza for delivery to my workplace at 8:15pm. It arrived at 9:40pm. Nearly an hour and a half, which I didn't mind, assuming they were simply busy tonight. When it arrived, the one pizza I paid nearly $20 for was cold. It was in a pizza sleeve too. There's no way they had so many deliveries, even if they delivered mine last, that the pizza got literally cold inside the sleeve. I can only assume they took their time. I was very disappointed to discover that the Pizza Hut, Bay City TX refused to deliver out to the STP site. I had hoped to celebrate the ending of our maintenance outage by purchasing pizza for our crew. In the past, Pizza Hut in Bay City, TX has delivered pizza with a minimum order of $50. This is understandable since the site is roughly 25 miles from the restaurant. When I called the restaurant to place the order, the young lady taking the call left the phone to check if the delivery would be okay. Whether it was the night manager or the delivery person, they refused to take the order. STP has often placed large orders with Pizza Hut, so the lack of customer service is disappointing to say the least. I live 2 blocks from this restaurant but my business will now go to Domino's. Incidentally, I placed the order with Domino's and they gladly delivered for a $2.50 delivery fee. We tipped them generously. Never again! read more
