Yesterday I got a sub and the bread was dark and tough to chew (and I never get it toasted), like I had to rip it apart with my teeth instead of enjoying it. Really, can we just agree that if the bread is not fresh, it shouldn't be served? I work too hard for my money to pay for stale bread. But it seems like the owner of this establishment just doesn't care.

The slightly sweet cornbread batter is perfectly fried every time, which makes these little carb morsels crunchy on the outside yet soft and fluffy on the inside. I've been eating them dipped in ketchup since I was a kid and I'm not about to stop now. Quit quietly judging me, LOL!
