We've been here a few times. Stopped in for lunch today while running errands. Service is always very prompt here. The employees always seem to be in a good mood. I've enjoyed the hot sandwiches and cold cut sandwiches here. I've always left satisfied. The quality and quantity are great. Today my giant club sub "Mikes way" was excellent. Wife had Mikes Philly and she said it was very good. Jersey Mike's is her favorite sandwich place. The inside is your typical diner style seating, but it works. Plenty of seating options. I miss real delis with personality, a little corner-store vibe, and a family ownership. You just don't get the same quality from a chain as you can find with an authentic deli. However, for every great one, there are four bad ones out there. And some places like Jacksonville and the last place we lived just don't have real delis of any kind. This is where Jersey Mike's shines. They are fast, they make great sandwiches that are consistently well made with fresh cut meats and a friendly staff. I like that most locations will listen to my requests so I can help them build a sandwich closer to what I want. For me, the 13 is my go-to choice, but there are several others I like, too. They kind of miss on the cheesesteaks; there are lots of better choices and not their wheelhouse. It's about the same as the cheesesteaks you find in some mall food courts, nothing special. A few things I wish they would work on; that seems to be an issue at all locations. Stop punishing people who want a Zero soda, Coke, Pepsi, or Dr. Pepper; it doesn't matter. If you buy a fountain drink, you get refills and a fair price. If you want the only Zero soda that some have (Pepsi Zero), it's only in bottles, costs more, and has no refills. Just put one in the fountain already. Stop asking me if I want bacon if I order a sandwich that comes with bacon. Every location seems to do this, and it's annoying. If you order a sandwich that does not come with bacon, then ask me. But if it comes with bacon like a club, don't pretend you're doing me a favor by putting on the meats the menu item comes with. Some locations, usually with a new hire, don't know how to make a sandwich. I'm typically patient, but when there is a long line and people are trying to get lunch, putting an inexperienced person on the line is not doing your reputation any favors while the senior staff stands around watching them. They make too many mistakes and get frustrated when people are in a hurry and already waited in a line for 15 minutes. Don't substitute cheaper ingredients. I've been to a few Jersey Mikes, where they don't use the house brand ingredients. I wonder if corporate knows this (not a problem at this location). For example, replacing your great pickles with cheap bulk versions is one example, or replacing meats with cheaper brands. Don't let your franchisees do this. Even with your new overlords (the family that owns Jersey Mike's recently sold the company to a VC group known to ruin fast food brands, stripping them down and then selling them off after they bankrupt them). Keep up the good fight and great deli quality. read more

The one I went to was on Richlands Hwy, behind Chipotle. I bought a whole sub , and had them cut it into fours. I don't eat subs often, but once in a while... The bread was fresh and I've never had deli meat that tasted so fresh, and real, if you know what I mean. Want a good tasting sub? JMS is the place! read more

Ive always ordered subs from this location when in the area. Today I ordered two steak and cheese subs. When I got home I noticed the steak didn't look like steak but like chicken. It was very dry and tasteless. I certainly won't order the Philly steak cheese steak sub again and may not order a sub from there again. read more

I have been to this one many times and had delivery from here many times and to me they are some of best subs in town.. meat is cut right then and not pre cut, the toppings are just enough and the staff is always very nice . A few times I have asked for odd stuff like I wanted my tuna sub mikes way but add bacon and pickles.. wow is that good!! They smiled and told me there's no crazy order it's your sub you eat it, order it way you'll enjoy it.. and man did I!! Inside there's tables and lobby is always clean when I go. This is not the first bad review of this same girl. I came into Jersey Mike's with a smile on my face. I left without one, and I was quite angry. As a former manager, and a customer service representative of 8 years, also a a business owner, I take great pride in how I interact with my customers. Today I had an awful experience as I tried to order my fiancé and I food. This was approx 6:40 pm. The blonde hair, blue eyed girl with glasses seemed to not be willing to do her job. I get it, on a Friday when you want to be at home relaxing it can be annoying to make sandwiches. But I wasn't rude, I wasn't demanding, I simply asked "does the #3 come with" and she didn't even let me finish my sentence, she rudely interrupted me and stated the 3 meats that are listed on the board with a condescending tone. Obviously as I am reading the board, I can see the 3 meats. I wanted to know if it came with lettuce and tomato. So I asked "does it come with lettuce and tomato". She proceeded to point at the line and tell me whatever I want on it, is what I'm going to get on it. I grabbed my fiancés hand and walked out. I'm not going to sit here and cuss out a miserable employee who doesn't like their job, they're already going through enough. I will not be coming back to this location read more

I just purchased a "The famous Philly" from this location. When I got home and had a few bites I realized that there was NO Cheese or onions on it! Then too add another nice touch the roll was very thin and crumbling and here was an odd sauce type substance on it as well. First time ever I have had a poor sub at Mike's let alone their signature cheesesteak. I have never had these issues at the one by the hospital. read more

We were in Jacksonville, NC visiting family. We went to the Jersey Mike's at 3494 Western Blvd Jacksonville, NC. on November 24, 2023. We order a giant sub, regular sub and a wrap. Once we got home and started eating them, we found hair in all three (and it wasn't just one, it was a lot)!! We took them back immediately! I told them I didn't want new ones; I just wanted a refund. After getting some bad looks from the employees, the manager at first couldn't find my order then he printed out a receipt and said it will be refunded on the card, well it's been 5 days and still no refund!! I have sent 2 messages through the app but have not receive a reply! Jersey Mike's was our favorite sub place, but we are 2nd guessing that now!! Poor customer service from the staff when manager is not present. They will not admit to messing up an order for items to be left off the sandwich. The young woman with glasses starts her interactions with an attitude. I visit your store on western Blvd in jacksonville nc several times a month upon each visit your employees are so busy talking amongst themselves they don't even speak to the customer when finally getting to speak to them they ask may I help you but everytime I make an order they get stuff wrong or miss stuff on our subs like for instance they didn't give me the correct bread when also told no vinegar I get loads of Vinegar leaving me with soggy bread and I simply only asked for a little bit of oil I'm very unpleasaed by the behavior of your employees they don't pay attention to their job they have ruined me visiting this store anymore I will no longer come in this jersey mikes because I didn't have a pleasant experience anytime I visited read more

Huge disappointment from Friday's dinner & Wednesday's lunch. The lunch crew on Wednesday was much friendlier. The work station was way cleaner & neat. The sub bowl that I had was plentiful. The sub bowl I had Friday evening was skimpy, the young girl making it was rude & had an attitude. There was a big crew working and they only friendly employees was the order taker. Made on order for 5 sandwiches on Doordash Aug 7th. But the bread was so hard you couldn't eat the sandwiches. I honestly do not believe that they would've sold this bread to someone that actually went into the store. They clearly did not care about the quality of food they sent out of their store. The girl (assistant manager) that I just spoke too was so rude after messing my order up for a second time (first time had hair in all 3 subs but we only complained about 2 because my husband ate his) was upset and had the audacity to get an attitude with me and act like I was trying to get free food out of them. Honestly way over priced for basic subs anyways. All we wanted was a #7 no mayo mikes way add jalapeño and pickle and a #8 no mayo lettuce and tomatoe only... then she continued to call me sweetie and sweet heart after I asked her about her attitude. I hadn't eaten at a Jersey Mike's in forever and decided to stop in and get myself a cheesesteak with onions, peppers and portobellos and my husband a chicken cheesesteak. We honestly were both extremely impressed as these are the best cheesesteaks we've gotten while living in Jacksonville (we've been here for 10 years!) and they came from a chain sub shop. I can't speak to any of the other subs but we are putting this in the rotation because the cheesesteaks alone were very flavorful, juicy and hearty. We will be back often! read more

Went in to Jersey Mike's at 3:20pm today and was not even greeted by a very rude employee I had to basically ask her to tell me what's on the big kahuna she didn't want to make my food Bc I wanted it a certain way and gave me a very nasty look and I listened in and I heard her talking about me in the back with the other employees saying that all customers should fuck off and that if someone pissed her off again she will spit in the food I received my sandwich and it was absolutely terrible I will never go back to this place again come here if you want rude and nasty steers this place sucks read more

Expect to wait in the pick up line, every time i visit the crew is so tunneled vision and forget to even acknowledge pick up orders. Youll see a pile up at the door and eventually you just have to interrupt them and ask them to do a quick 5 second handover to the customer. read more

My experience at Jersey Mike's is usually pretty awesome. This evening, however, was a different story. I was traveling out of town, pretty hungry after a long drive. I wanted a sub, and decided to place an order online. My expectation is for it to be ready, or close to ready upon arrival. My order was expected to be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived a couple of minutes earl, literally. As I waited for my order to be completed, I noticed one in-store order after another being placed, prepared and picked up. After waiting almost another 15 minutes, my sandwich was finally ready for pickup. As I was handed the sandwich, I was told "Sorry for the wait. There was an unexpected rush." My order should have been prepared along with the rush, not delayed until the rush passed. What is the benefit of placing an online order with a pick up time, if the in-store patrons receive preferential treatment? While this experience is not consistent with my prior Jersey Mike's experiences. I certainly did not feel like a valued customer this evening. read more

Great example of what a sandwich shop should be! Friendly staff, fresh produce w/ meats and excellent service. We order subs to go while mentioning they were for a picnic. Without asking they provided all the fixings and condiments in separate containers to prepare sandwiches later & prevent a soggy mess. Highly recommendable!! read more

Was in Jacksonville on business and thought I would try Jersey Mike's for the first time, based on hearing some good things from colleagues. The employees working there were incredibly warm and friendly, and after I told them I had never been to a Jersey Mike's before gave me recommendations and told me why the chain was better than you're average fast-food sandwich stop. Ending up ordering the Italian, Mike's Way, and on the grill, and was very impressed. So rare to be treated so warmly in a fast-food restaurant... will be certainly be back to a Jersey Mike's in the near future... read more

I'll start by telling you that the service was impeccable. This was my first time at a Jersey Mikes and they were patient with me as I was indecisive.
