I visited Pizza Hut in Indio for the first time while celebrating my son's birthday. I paid an extra $9 for what I thought would be a 3 pan pizzas, but when I got home and checked, it was not pan at all. I went back to the store, and they insisted that was the pan crust, but it was extremely flat nowhere near what I'm used to at my regular Pizza Hut in Riverside. The pan didn't rise at all, and the taste was off. I've had Pizza Hut every Friday at home, and this was just not the quality I expect. I'm really disappointed. read more

Food was amazing as always. But the service sucks the lady attending us gave us attitude. she cleaned the tables we sat at, they were still dirty and sticky but we decided to not say anything. She brought us our drinks and we told her that she gave us the wrong soda she insisted she was right even going back and bringing the receipt to prove she was right, too in turn we showed her ours and it clearly said Pepsi. When other servers would just nicely change it for the correct one. Then as she was heading back she said under her breath "alright nothing is going to happen" like as if we were exaggerating but we didn't give her attitude or made a big deal about it and is unprofessional on her part. Then when my wings came they didn't give me the extra sauce I ask for so then again I went to ask that they didn't have me the sauce I asked for there was a worker that I told what happened and he was nice about it and was going to give me a sauce but the girl asked what happened and I told her. she then went to get the receipt and the extra sauce wasn't there when in fact I did tell her and order it with the rest of my order. I couldn't believe they've "down sized" they use to have Large, Med, Small Now they only have a quote on quote "ONE SIZE" for $2.70. I then called the restaurant to confirm and they said the 2liter cost $3 the one size fountain drink cost $2.70 and the 12oz bottle of soda cost $1.75 WOW!!! if I would have know I could have gotten more for my money and got the 12oz bottle. So a couple weeks ago my gf ordered pizza and wings. The driver forgot our wings we called the store and they "assured" us a credit for our next order just to use the same number to place the next order. Lo and behold we were trying to make another order this time around and they have no idea what we're talking about. I told him the situation and he just didn't seem to care. The prob here is that I should have figured that there would be no "credit" applied and should have demanded my wings(the principle) or cash back. Second issue was that the pizza was actually cold when we got like it was sitting for quite some time. I only order from here by phone. I've ordered pizza many, many times and never had a problem, except for once when they delivered a cold pizza. I just microwaved it, it was edible. I have never experienced any of the problems I've seen in the reviews here, probably because I never eat inside the restaurant. They promise delivery within 30 minutes and have always come through. One of the worst pizza places I've ever ordered from! I ordered a big dinner box with an extra side of wings and the delivery driver forgot our wings and our ranch. My sister then took a bite of her slice and found a piece of plastic in it and I called to complain, but the guy kept "redirecting" me over to their store and nobody answered. They are super rude don't even acknowledge you when you walk through the door as a customer, very disorganized, all the staff members saw I was waiting there and the ones who were not busy pretended to be doing something, never did they even say "thank you for waiting, we'll be right with you" nor did they even say "hi, welcome" the girl named Jenni who attended me saw me 10mins before attending me and when she got to the register she asked "pick up? Under what name?" With attitude and when she got my Pizza she tossed it on the counter and didn't even offer to give me anything else as condiments for the pizza, she just tossed it and left me their mid word, I'm sure the front camera and the desk caught all of her inprofessionalism as an employee. After she just went to the back and I said out loud "Excuse me, may I have to cheese and pepper?" So then some guy just came and gave them to me and I asked if I could speak to the manager and he said he was the manager but didn't have a manager badge? So I just gave him my complaint and told him I love ordering pizza from their store and never had I ever had such bad service, even he wasn't doing anything when he saw me waiting and didn't even make the effort to just simply check me out so I could've been on my way, I told him he needed to check his attitude, professionalism and also the salty attitude of his employees. I love pizza hut specially their salad buffet. Biggest down fall is that they do not have enough staff. Wait times are ridiculous. Servers hardly ever come back to check. We got out appetizer 30 minutes after waiting and they for got to bring us sauce. By the time they brought the sauce they brought the pizza as well. Which defeats the purpose of an appetizer. Me and my family came in to have dinner here. It was 5 of us. So we saw that it was all pretty full and the only openings they had was booths but we decided to stay because we just love their pizza. We ordered breadsticks & 3 large pizza's but asked our server that we wanted to take one to go(meaning in a box). The lady agreed and took our order brought our drinks, here's where it gets good, they( meaning our server and this other girl who works there) brings us all three pizza's the breadsticks in this small booth, they just place them all together when we specifically asked our server that we wanted one to go, she tells us that they( I guess the manager or whatever) told her in the back that she couldn't put one in a box for us to take. Even she knew that was dumb for them to do. Our server was the only one with common sense there and moved our pizza to go on their salad bar area. We were so crowded in there and they legit ignored us. It was plain out disrespectful on their part. No one even came to check up on us or even asked if everything was alright as far as our drinks. To make matters worse they even charged service tip even when I explained to them how that wasn't right for them to do. I myself am a server and I know how sh*t can be but they were straight up disrespectful. I'm only giving a 2 star because our server was the only person who at least tried to accommodate us a little. This place gets overcrowded for lunch. The staff does what it can to meet the demand and serve the big groups coming in. I was satisfied with the service but I think they can organize themselves a little bit better. First, there should be more control at the "wait to be seated station" there's no one in control there to tell you wait time or direct you to your seat; it's more of a wait for a seat and wait for the person that's going to take your order. The place should be maintained, the men's restroom really needed to be cleaned and it seems it needs to be kept up with. I got to give credit to the workers though... There did seem to be many regular customers when I was there on a Monday, and quite positive employee/customer interaction was observed. I did not feel like an outsider either; I felt the service was good for the duration of my visit. The selection and freshness of food offered on the buffet was positive, so this would definitely be a "recommend" in my book! read more

It literally took two hours to get our food (we asked for delivery). I could've slept those two hours. It was 10 pm when we ordered, we didn't get our food till 11:40pm, almost 12!! And when our food finally arrived the pizza is cold. The bottom of the box was not even the slowest of warm and same goes for the wings, cold and disappointing.
