Love this gem in Bay Springs. I love wood fired pizza and they always deliver. Went with the…read moreJamaican Jerk pizza and it was great. People are very friendly and service was great. If you are around the Bay Springs area this is a must stop.

Best pizza in Mississippi by far!…read more Their food truck was amazing but now they have a full service restaurant and bar and the food is even more amazing! Award winning pizza dough.... high quality ingredients, and the portion size of the toppings are perfect. We also tried the Philly cheesesteak sandwich which was beyond good. They use their pizza crust for the bread, baked and folder over almost calzone style. The quality of the shaved sliced prime rib is excellent, the meat was incredibly moist, tender, and the sautéed onions and green peppers complemented by their beer cheese made this culinary surprise a solid 10 out of 10. Great portion, priced just right, arrived to the table piping how..... seriously, order this sandwich!!!! Great small-town atmosphere, and the service is exceptional. We were greeted with a warm welcome, a smile, and that friendliness was also extended by our server who gave excellent service, checked back a few times, refilled drinks, and kept us informed about how long our order would take to arrive at our table. The place is worth the drive from Laurel.... Five stars for sure.... go for the pizza, but also try other items off their surprisingly great menu. They also have nice pasta dishes, several salad choices, and an excellent appetizer menu as well. We had their home made pretzel bites with beer cheese, a 10 out of 10... a must! Lastly, their build your own salad is genius. $11.00 is the price... you pick the type of greens and up to six toppings of an extensive list of choices... great value given the size of he salad and the amount of toppings.....

I am pretty sure someone's Nonna is definitely in the kitchen at Trattoria Pizzeria. The food is…read moreamazing prepared, the service makes you feel like family, and the place is so clean, that you can her own mother rushing you to clean the house before company gets there. I ordered the baked spaghetti, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The kind of dish that makes you pause halfway through the first bite and think, "Yep...this was the perfect choice." It tasted completely house-made, rich, comforting, and clearly prepared with the kind of love that usually comes from a kitchen where someone is yelling in Italian. The sauce, the pasta, the baked goodness on top--everything just worked. The wine list was also a pleasant surprise: great selection and very affordable. Nothing makes pasta happier than a good glass of wine that doesn't make your wallet cry. For dessert I went with the limoncello cake. While it wasn't house-made, it was still delicious--light, citrusy, and the perfect way to finish off a very satisfying meal. Here's the real kicker: the entire meal with wine was about $40 with my drink. In a world where mediocre pasta can somehow cost the same as a cell phone bill, this place delivers incredible value. It's not only the best quality Italian food I've found around here, it's easily one of the best meals I've had for the price. Bottom line: great food, great wine, and a price that doesn't require selling family heirlooms. I'll definitely be back.

We got three pizzas and none of them were cooked right. My Greek pizza was underdone and doughy. My son's cheese pizza was very burnt. It was actually not edible. The bottom and crust were black. My other son got the Margarita and it was closest to being cooked correctly but his, too, was undercooked and doughy. Waste of money. We could not eat a lot of it.

This Mercury Pizza location is right down the street from the USM campus, so it's a great stop…read morebefore going to watch a game. The location itself is pretty weird and it's like they haven't quite worked out what to do with the inside. When you walk in, there's an open area and what looks like a serving counter but a sign says to order back at the bar. You then walk past the ovens and into the open bar area. It's like the front door is actually the back door. There were no waiters so you have to line up for the bartender to take your order, then go sit down at one of the wobbly tables. Our food came out pretty quickly. We had some honey siracha chicken wings that were good but incredibly small for the price point. We also had the Mercury Supreme pizza which had a variety of meats and toppings. Pizzas only come in one size and just one might work to share with someone if you aren't that hungry. The pizza tasted great and I liked the thin chewy dough. However, the middle of the pie is super thin so you can't pick up a piece without have the stuff sliding off. It's quite floppy. We liked what we had but were still kind of hungry when we left. This place seems to be more of a bar that serves pizza rather than a restaurant. I get that "bar food" is it's own genre, but I don't see this as being a place to take a family for a meal. It would definitely be a great location to hang out with friends and have a few drinks, though.
