    Quad and Caesar Salad
    Krista J.

Initially, we were not greeted when walking in and were confused about how to order. I paid $20 for a lunch pie and salad and eh... the salad was plentiful but the pizza was doughy. It came out super fast so maybe it was undercooked? I probably should have said something because I also didn't get the added ricotta cheese I ordered and paid for. It was decent, but we will definitely try something else next time we are in town!

The place was empty when a co-worker and I went in today, but it WAS well after lunchtime. I had the Vito Coreleon sandwich and it was amazing! Co-worker had the pepperoni pizza and wolfed it down, but coveted my sandwich. Maybe next time, because there definitely will be one!

Passing through Hattiesburg, found this place on Yelp, and we tried it for the first time. 5 out of 5 stars!!! The pepperoni pizza and the cheeseburger pizza ("cheezy-burger pizza" on the menu) were both amazing. Absolutely perfect pizzas in every way. Service was decent. Not the friendliest pizza maker/order taker at the front counter and not the fastest service, but the pizzas were so amazing, it just didn't matter at all. The bartender in the back area was extremely friendly and provided excellent service. The ambiance is fun and up beat. Really, really LOVE this restaurant and can't wait to return when we're back in the area. Very highly recommend.

I just absolutely love the service and food, one of the bar tenders, Breah is truly one of kinda.

The pizzas are always good but the prices are too high. We don't order from there anymore.

The salad bar is amazing!…read moreSoooo many yummy things to choose from; the salad I built was beyond delicious and very fresh. I saw another review saying that they found it overly expensive, but that was not my experience, especially for the quality and variety. My large salad, with tons of extra "pile-on" extras like chicken salad (on the side of my recyclable bowl), baked & sliced chicken breast, and hummus only cost me around eight dollars (that was including my Glaceau bottled Smart Water). If you went to a chain restaurant and ordered one of their large entree salads, I really can't imagine it would be cheaper, probably more, actually, and undoubtedly less fresh with less goodies. And that entree salad price likely wouldn't even include your drink. They also have soups, baked regular and sweet potatoes that you can load up with toppings, Mac & cheese, and you can make wraps with the ingredients from the salad bar. So, I'll be stopping by when I'm back in town; this place is A++!

Ambiance 3.5 Stars Open concept with multiple tables w chairs or bench seating. Airy and light, clean tables and chairs. Service: 3 Stars This is a self-serve salad bar where you build your own salad bowl. So employee interaction was minimal. No one greeted us and the only time we had interaction was when we went to the cashier. She was pleasant and a wonderful smile but it seems the staff were preoccupied with their tasks. Food: 3.25 Stars Nothing special about the salad bar. There are menu cards where it has several bowl options with pre-fixed ingredients you can follow or just go crazy and make your unique bowl. The based is rice or leafy greens. From there, just follow the procession to make your creation. The salad bowl I made has Korean BBQ CHICKEN as the protein but it didn't taste anything like KOREAN BBQ. Now the veggies were fresh and there a lot of options to choose, however you are limited on the type of protein. There are soup options too but I didn't get any. They didn't look as good. I'm not saying they are bad but there wasn't an option I wanted. NOTE: Everything is a'la carte and it is weighed on a scale. So, if you have a hefty bowl, soup, or other food items, the price will "skyrocket". Drinks are separate too. Our meal cost us $30 (2 salads and drink each) I forgot to take a picture of our salad bowls due to a call from a client and got distracted. However, there are other pictures of the salad bar options. Though the food was fresh and ok, I don't know if I will come back. Limited staff interaction and they still want a "Tip" when you paid. I declined on that option. Heck, I built my salad bowls and got my own drink. I should tip myself. I think "tipping" is getting out of hand at self service or take out options.

Our server, Cameron, was kind, patient, and attentive as we waited for our friend to arrive. He was also extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and offered great suggestions based on his personal favorites. We started with the crabmeat wontons, which I was expecting to favor traditional rangoons, but these were crispy gyozo dumplings, filled with a savory and smooth blend of crab and cream cheese, and served with sweet chili sauce. They didn't last long on the table :) Even my husband, who usually doesn't like seafood, dug in! Intrigued by the subtle twist on a classic, my husband chose the fried chicken and beignets. I was allowed a bite :) and it was hard to stop there! The flavor of both components was outstanding, and the crispy texture, perfect. I wasn't quite as hungry, so I asked if I could do a classic Caesar salad and add creole shrimp. When I say this was the best salad I've ever had, I'm not exaggerating! The flavor of the dressing was so simple yet rich, the croutons were light and tasted freshly-made, and the shrimp were deliciously savory, with a blackened flavor that exceeded my expectations. All in all, a great dining experience that we will share with others traveling through the area, and will repeat if we're ever back!

When it comes down to it, it's about the food! The server was a nice young lady & that was about the only saving grace of my over priced & long wait supper. This place looks cool but I want better food, more fair pricing & faster service. I'd recommend you look elsewhere if you want a tasty meal. Don't let the "cool vibe look" deceive you!

I have to say I still prefer their old location better which is largely more for nostalgia's sake. The service was less than I had come to expect from the old location so that could certainly use some improvement and it seemed to have gotten even worse for my second visit to the new spot. The food has declined from my past first visit to this new location sadly. The open faced prime rib sandwich served with a side of au jus was my go to staple here for many years but they no longer have that on the menu sadly. The only other entrée I ever ordered here was one of the Gulf fish specials which they still had some of those at least but not as good a choice as they used to have. For my second visit the menu was so uninspiring to me I just got a cheeseburger and it was fortunately a decently good cheeseburger. For Hattiesburg this is probably still one of the better places to eat. They have continued doing a nice tray of their dessert selections setting out on display to really try and tempt your soul with lust for their sweet treats. I really think they need to up their game again and go back to what they used to be! Overall if you're in the area this is probably a good choice for the food or their bar which will be better than any of the many nearby chains like Applebee's but not quite as good as Crescent City Grill.
