Since franchises operate like individual businesses in that each location has a different person running the operation, a franchised restaurant's location can stand out with uniquely memorable customer service and flavor. And that's what the new manager at this Pizza Hut has created - a memorable experience for Hixson residents or people passing through. While visiting family nearby, my Mom and I stopped by to get pizza to go since we both were craving it. Neither of us had been to a Pizza Hut in ages. We're so glad we decided to try this one! When we walked up to the counter, the new manager greeted us with a friendly hello and talked with us about all the menu options. I commented on how clean the customer ordering area was and he smiled saying he had been working on improving everything since taking over operations. He then told us about the weekly specials, like $2 personal pan pizzas on Tuesdays. Mom ordered a large veggie pizza to have a treat leftover for the week and I ordered a pepperoni personal pizza. When we sat down to eat later, Mom commented on how good even the crust was on her veggie pizza. I noticed how flavorful each part of my pepperoni personal pan pizza was too, sauce included. There was a meal deal with two pizza's, boneless chicken wings, and bread sticks on the app, so we ordered and picked up our dinner via the drive thru window (love the drive thru window!) The BBQ chicken pizza had a tasty BBQ sauce and the other was the thin, crispy Chicago style spicy chicken pizza - my favorite! Both were hot and tasty! Chicken nuggets were standard. The pizza was fair, but with minimal toppings. We ordered the Triple Chocolate Brownie desert, yet when we got it we discovered it was a Hershey cookie that was as dry as a five-year old fruit cake. It wasn't worth $1, much less $8.99. A very disappointing experience. read more

ordered my food at 6. it is now 7:49 pm. And have not received my order, have called the local store 6 times to cancel and waited on hold for 15 minutes each time with no response . Have also called and have been told I'd be transferred 5 times and that went poorly. and your representative hung up on me. this has been terrible Buisness , and inexcusable. 2 hours no order and have heard from no one. absolutely poor customer service. We ordered the Big Dinner Box with wings and upgraded to cheesy bread. We spilt each pizza into 4 types: cheese, supreme, bbq chicken, and Hawaiian. The good: the cheese pizza is probably one of the best "out of the box" without any special type of cheese and the bbq chicken is solid although not very saucy. The boneless wings are amazing and better than BWW. The bad: overall, the standard bread for the pizza is fairly thick at Pizza Hut. Since you get rectangle pizza with this "deal" this makes 1/2 of the entire pizza thick bread with no toppings or sauce. The ugly: This comes down to execution- the cheesy bread which was upgraded for a dollar was burnt on the edges and overcooked in the middle. The bbq chicken pizza which was ordered with no onions and was repeated back by the woman on the phone still had onions and wasn't listed on the receipt. After mentioning this to the woman at the counter she acted as if that was an inconvenience for their mistake and explained she could make the pizza but I was going to have to wait 15 minutes. After making it she did apologize and was much friendlier. She seemed overwhelmed in the back since it was rush hour for them (there were several other people working) but just didn't seem to be handling it too well. The remake of the pizza was very good. While I was waiting they forgot to add double cheese to another customer's order. Overall just not a fan of the square pizza due to the thick breading. So I worked at a Pizza Hut for years down in Florida and this location here in Chatt has always been good. I'm just confused to why they close at 11?? The alcohol curfew in FL was two hours earlier but we were still open until 2am. Closing at 11 shuts out a huge market of people especially those of us in service industry that don't get off until 10 and aren't even thinking about food until we've been off work for an hour or so. Not a bad location but your hours are useless to me and many others in my industry. Still giving four stars because you haven't done anything wrong other than closing way too early. read more

I'm torn between 2/3 stars. Ordered for pickup and the Service was friendly and earlier than predicted. That's good. Ordered bone out wings, hand tossed sausage and a pan pepperoni pizzas. Once home to eat, found both pies without any marinara sauce. Let be certain to explain, it was next to none evident under the cheese. It was as if we had ordered cheese sticks with some meat. What a disappointment. When ordering takeout from anywhere, you risk getting all the way home and finding a problem. It's less likely to drive all the way back after setting the table, a hungry family sitting down to dinner, only to find this problem and not wanting to drive all the way back only to put your appetite on hold even longer. Delivery speed is always great. The pizza tonight was probably 3 stars, and the bread sticks were 2 stars, but the fullfillment of my request for a drawing of a sheep redeemed the whole experience.
