Don't waste your time or money here. This was my 3rd, and final time, to order from this location. All 3 times the toppings on my pizza have been about 1/3 the normal Pizza Hut toppings. Kid you not, literally 1 piece of pepperoni per slice. Every time I've ordered from here. The pic attached is the marinara sauce that came w the breadsticks 24 hours after I bought dinner from this location. Sauce was kept in fridge as it should be. I'd like to thank Pizza Hut for my "Hot from the Hut" 1/2 pepperoni & 1/2 ham and pineapple pizza and cheese sticks. As you can see that's not what I received. Shall I also mention that the food all had to be reheated because It took over 40 minutes from the text saying It was "out for delivery" until It finally reached my home 12 minutes from their restaurant? This Gurnee Pizza Hut is relatively new as they moved from Gurnee Mills in the last couple of years. The new location looks nice but the customer experience is far worse than the old location. Quite honestly the Gurnee Target down the street operates much better with faster wait times and hot food. This Grand ave Pizza Hut is slow and my bread sticks to were cold... This location lost Pizza Hut a loyal customer that has spent thousands for their pizza over the years. Never again will I use Pizza Hut for large catering orders or for personal consumption...and I'll be sure to spread the word about my experience. I called in at 8:40pm looking for a delivery. My order was taken, my card was charged, and I was told it was an 80 min. delivery time. I said that was fine as we would be home. We wait patiently until 11pm....over 2 hours for pizza, and no one was coming. We called the store to get an automated message that it was closed. I checked my online banking to see if my card was charged and it showed a charge reversal...luckily I got my $ back. However, to keep someone waiting for over two hours for food and not even call them to tell them that it would be too late and the order wouldn't be made...that's the most awful customer service I've EVER seen. I could've lived with it if I was told up front that they couldn't fill the order...or that even after 30 minutes I got a call to say that it wouldn't happen....but to wait for that long and never be notified? I've ordered from this Pizza Hut a few times, and it's been great every time. They always have special coupons and offers on their website, and here's a plus: The online ordering actually WORKS. I've had problems with my order getting lost in digital translation from internet to store at other pizza chains (Dominos and Papa Johns) but Pizza Hut has been consistently good, and that is what I expect from a chain pizza place. The drivers are always friendly and prompt. My order always arrives a few minutes ahead of time. Also, they come right to my door and don't need to call to find their way. While I don't mind a driver calling to check directions, I sure do love it when they know their way around. Currently, the $10 deal for any pizza, any toppings is great. Using the easy online ordering tool, this means my husband and I can get a half-and-half pizza and each get exactly what we want. I feel like they took extra care to make sure his toppings didn't get on my half of the pizza and vice versa. They do actually go easy on the sauce if it is requested, and I really appreciate that. The reason I won't go five stars here is because the dough is a little sweet for my taste. Next time I'll try a thin crust and see if I prefer it to hand tossed. I'll live without Papa John's crust and garlic butter sauce for the good prices and good service of this Pizza Hut. read more

Unbelievably poor customer service for a pickup order. First phone call it rang 20 times with no answer. Second call they finally picked up. My point with phone calls was when they said my (large order) would only take 15 mins??? However, the rudeness and lack of basic customer assistance and offers was zero!! I was very disappointed with my service. I ordered several pizzas, wings and drinks for my coworkers and I today. When the food was delivered and we started eating, it was discovered that a roach was baked into one of the pizzas! We were all so disgusted! When we called the store, they offered to make us more pizzas or give us money back for however many pizzas had bugs on them. We did not want anything else from them at all!
