Reuben The Great (Manager's Special) half sandwich with a side. Salad this time, which is huge. Mac & Cheese was excellent.

Sometimes you just revert to something that takes you back to a simpler, comfortable place- Jason's Deli fills that spot for me. It's been years since I was in a Jason's Deli store but it's still a go to for me when I want a good sandwich and side soup or salad. Always reliable and consistent, I could easily find a spot for their Rueben sandwich, even if I remove half the sauerkraut every time. That's just my preference and something I've never tried to add to the online order. The portion size and ratio of meat to bread is massive. Sides are always good with a variety of soups and a recently discovered huge side salad option. There's your value play if you're looking. Give this near inner loop option a shot if you're in the area or looking for delivery.

This salad was great! Delivery from restaurant and can't wait to order more! Never visited actual location in person but definitely would!

Cashier seemed uninterested, and uncomfortable that manager was hovering behind her while we he took my husband and I's order. Food was decent, yet expensive for a sandwich place that's not as popular as Panera. Good area, lots of windows, good atmosphere. Just wish customer service was better handled.

I ordered a club royale I asked the gentleman to please remove the tomato from my order because I'm allergic to the tomato, live in Katy Tx. I'm not in this area much but I love Jasons deli The gentleman at the drive-through window was very rude!!!! I say hello to him ask I was handing my card, he did not say anything then when he finally brought my order I asked her a few extra napkins and he gave me an awful look so instead of getting mad I just drove off. So I called to see if I could get another sandwich made and the manager was awful as well.... Please do not eat here!!!!! Could you refund me my money! Plus, I don't think y'all really want to do the right thing you should've gave me my money back on my card and you didn't even leave your name as a business owner. Thank you very much.

This Salata location off Wirt and I-10 is clean, spacious, and well-run. I've never waited more than a few minutes to order, though I usually avoid the peak lunch rush. Everything feels efficient without being rushed. Quick PSA for anyone planning a visit: they do not open for dinner on Sundays--they close at 4 pm. Learned this the hard way once when we walked almost a mile in near-freezing weather (for exercise, not necessity!) only to find it closed late Sunday afternoon. We were sad. If you don't have very many locations aren't exactly established yet in the city you're trying to plant in, and a patron comes in and says it's their first time, some recommendations and signature dish items would be nice to hear. There were a lot of staff on this Sunday afternoon, but didn't really see there was much effort into the overall experience. The food station was dirty and messy, there were gnats flying around our food where we were sitting, and when we got our zeppelins, it was drenched or drowning in the dressing and th overall sandwich was overly salty because of it. I ordered the Mediterranean Cobb and held off on the blue cheese and subbed feta. The grilled chicken literally was so chewy and tasted like rubber I had to spit it out and then pick the rest of the chicken out, this place is NOT cheap. Quite pricey for a large sub stuffed with a salad. If you're paying $15 for a sandwich, you expect to get quality ingredients. The chicken was not edible. Staff just stood around and would chit chat, not really attentive or maintaining the restaurant very well. I'm willing to give it another shot maybe and try their salad...but I'd heed on the dressing and ask for it on the side.

It was a beautiful day, so it would have been the perfect day to eat outside if you like that. I'm an eat indoors kind of person, but if you like to eat outside, they do have a few tables for that. I was meeting a friend for lunch and she suggested Ember & Green. We really couldn't decide what to order, so we decided to order a few things and share them. We started off with the Persian Cucumber Sald. It had Persian cucumbers, heirloom cherry tomatoes, red onions, and Kalamata olives with oil and lemon dressing and topped with parsley and feta cheese. Let me tell you, thats lemon dressing was delicious! It went so well with the cucumbers. Next we ordered Blackened salmon with lemon butter and avocado salsa, served with charred broccolini, roasted carrots and potatoes on a bed of cilantro green pea quinoa. I'm really not a huge fan of salmon, but I'm trying to like it more by trying it different ways. The spices that they put on the salmon were really good, not too spicy, but also, not bland. It was also cooked perfectly. Oh, and that lemon butter... that lemon butter made the meal if you ask me. It was so good. So good in fact, I had to try and make salmon with lemon butter at him the very next week. Mine didn't come out as good as Ember & Greens, but it was decent. That just means that I need to leave the cooking to the professional. For dessert we decided to share the Skillet Cookie. Its a house made chocolate chip cookie baked in a cast iron skillet and topped with Amy's Mexican Vanilla Ice Cream and chocolate sauce. This was the only thing that we ordered that was a nope. I dont know what happened, but it didn't seem like it was cooked at all in the middle. We took a few bites, that was all we could eat of it. All and all, it was a good experience and I will go back. I'll just skip dessert next time.

The deviled eggs make good comfort food and was satisfying. This version doesn't have much of a kick, but it's very creamy and you can definitely taste the truffle oil. The homemade potato chips also add to the texture and salt between bites. The shrimp dish was fun with a light and crispy batter, well-seasoned and drizzled with sweet chili sauce. The cool ranch surprisingly added to the shrimp and enhanced the chili sauce rather than overwhelming it. The made-in-house fries were far better than expected. I was somewhat expecting dense, oily, boring fries, but these were very crisp and somehow didn't feel too greasy as far as fries goes. Almost seemed like an injustice for it to be served with ketchup as it was too good for it. Lastly, the tart was a great way to end the meal without it being too much. Loved the crust. The tart shell tasted really good and went well with the filling, which had a lighter consistency than pudding. Fruits tasted like they were on season, even though it should be a bit too late for strawberries. I'm also a sucker for meringue. And though the coffee shop's address is technically off Long Point, you can't see it from Long Point. It's on the other side of the shopping center. Google Maps does a good job showing you where the entrance is. The ambiance: I love how spacious the coffee shop is. There is plenty of seating and I appreciate that. The staff are also nice. Sometimes the line to order can get really long but that's because customers usually can't make up their minds. The menu is fairly extensive so pros and cons there. Now for the coffee: I've tried their speciality drinks, the hot brewed coffee, and flat white. They are all OK. Not bad but not great. Not enough strong coffee flavor in my opinion. Flavors are a little off but get the job done. Prices are fair - maybe a tad on the pricey side. Worth it if you're going to sit inside the coffee shop and get work done or meet up with friends. I would go here to meet with friends but not necessarily for the best coffee in town.
