I placed the bag on the passenger seat, next to me. When I got home, I picked up the bag and placed my hand on the bottom of the bag, only to find it was wet! But I did not order a drink so why would it be wet? That's when I noticed there was grease on the seat, where the bag had been setting. When I got inside my house I took the food items out of the bag and took pictures. It looks like whoever filled my order, took the potato cakes directly out of the fryer and dumped them in the cardboard container they come in. They obviously weren't allowed to drain, out of the fryer. Even my receipt was covered in grease because I had to look up the phone number of the restaurant so I could call the manager and let him or her know what had happened. I told her I wanted to text the pictures to her so she could see for herself. After. my phone conversation, I went out to my car, to clean up the grease that was on my car seat. Thank goodness it was a leather seat. I didn't hear back about the pictures I sent, so I collected the grease covered items and drove back to Arby's and presented them to the manager. She said she had just got done running a batch of potatoes thru the deep fryer and it was working just fine for her. She gave me a coupon for a free sandwich but I don't think I will be back!

There used to be a chicken house called Terrace Garden beside Hopocans chicken house, it was tore down many years ago. Belgrade Gardens is another that has been here for many years and is in my opinion the best Chicken house in Barberton . So let me give the Village Inn some constructive criticism . One thing they did was to do away with the dark rye bread and replaced it with wheat. The rye bread was always given clear back to the 1950's why they decided to mess with tradition is beyond me. The hot rice is overcooked to mush and is not very good. The chicken seems to not have the same taste not sure if they are still using lard or changed that also. Some things that made a restaurant an icon you just don't mess with. Let me say the food is not that bad but could use some improvement. Hopefully they will see this review and take steps to correct their path they are on before it causes them financial hardship. I do not want this place to close I want them to do good and keep a tradition and history of Barberton alive.
