I am writing this review because there were only three reviews within the past three years, and this place was the best deal I found and also because they allowed odd things like online ordering pizza for a friend who was allergic to tomatoes, of all things. I thought for sure no way that I could order that but it was right there boom done. I actually apparently messed up my order, but it was probably my own fault as I think the default was to pickup and I needed delivery. So we all waited here until I asked what was going down and they told me. Sadly they couldn't edit the order, but it was fine and I respect their boundaries of how much they can pull from my credit card. Anyway, all 3 pizzas seemed great, and the prices were 30% below Papa John's' price. They tasted great and unlike Ledo's pizzas they weren't polluted with any noticeable level of sugar. Obviously Frankly Pizza would be a step up but 2 stars is insane for being the cheapest price in town and no way they'd have been able to handle the tomato allergy so easily. Delivery was smooth as ice except for the reviewing system which apparently wants me to develop some relationship with the driver or something. I got a gf but thanks anyways. 5/5. read more

Weak pizza and a staff that leaves a lot to be desired. Ordered a big box and asked to exchange bread sticks with cinnamon sticks. Said that was ok (was charged extra for the cinnamon sticks later) Asked for an Alfredo sauce pizza, which they said was OK, that pizza has normal sauce and "beef" topping instead. Reluctantly giving two stars to this location. I recently visited the store to order a pizza. I simply wanted one large pizza veggie with pepperoni (I know kind of weird) - I ended up paying $23.50 simply for a large!!! The lady took three minutes to come to the counter as she was on the other side of the soda machine talking to other workers laughing. She then took my order and I felt rushed, not the best customer service experience at all - but that didn't deter me. The fact that my pizza was cold and I sat in the location as it was being prepared makes absolutely no sense. However I came home warmed it up and it was still just as tasty as any other Pizza Hut. read more

It's Pizza Hut pizza, so you know what you're getting. If you like Pizza Hut, you'll be fine. However, I would recommend doing delivery or carry-out instead of dining in. That's because the dine-in service can be slow, if you can get service at all. Recently my girlfriend and I were looking forward to some yummy pizza and breadsticks. When we arrived, we stood around waiting to be seated for a few minutes while nobody acknowledged us; the employees only dealt with phone orders and people picking up their pizzas. Finally, someone came over and told us that there would be no dine-in service tonight (and put up a sign to that effect) -- very disappointing. read more

There is a papa johns and a dominos in the same area which do a much better job than this place. I have had a few bad experiences with this place and have never bothered to leave a bad review but tonight was the straw that broke the camels back. I placed an order at 7:33pm. Their online tool said 30-45 min delivery and the email I received had a delivery time of 8:18pm. My order arrived at 9:45pm and it was ice cold. Attempts to call them failed as no one picks up their phone. I called 4 different times and let it ring for 5+ mins before the phone just hung up on their end. Like I said, hit up another location or a different pizza place all together. If you want your complete order to arrive, warm, and in an acceptable amount of time, go elsewhere! read more

Second time ordering from this location and still no issues. Both times pizza came hot and sooner than the quoted time. Delivery driver tonight was super friendly. The only thing was missing flavor on the crust tonight but not a deal breaker lol I'll live. I'll definitely keep ordering from this location. Updated: I've never had any problem with this location until today. For some reason the order that we've placed at least 10 times before (including once last week) is something they can't do. Like other reviews have stated, they seem to have a problem with baking pizza. Ours was severely undercooked and needed to go in our own oven for a bit. I could still see individual shredded pieces of cheese and the dough was still gooey underneath the toppings and uncooked cheese. Customer service is also crappy. I've been to other Pizza Huts where they show you leave with your pie and offer parmasean/pepper flakes. None of that here. We even had to tell the cashier that we ordered two pies after she only brought out one. She looked like she had no idea and checked the receipt. She then asked someone else and it was sitting in the back. The workers are extremely lazy here. Never again... next time I won't be a lazyass and make my own pizza at home. read more

Good food, fast delivery, but the person taking my order doesn't understand English.. when I asked to talk to the manager, she left, and came back and said she talked to him.. she claimed I ordered a pepperoni pizza, when I ordered a plain.. She gave me a hard time and blamed me for the mistake. After the plain got here 10 min later, I thought that was fishy, since it takes longer than that to make a new pizza.. I think they sent the wrong one, and blamed me for their mistake.. After 2 mistakes in the past month, I'll have to order elsewhere.. When I finally did talk to the manager, he said he just got there, and didn't know about the mix up. She clearly lied about talking to her manager, and blaming me for her poor English skills made me a bit upset.. And when you ask them why, they r like, its out for delivery, and we only have one driver. You would think they would fix it since its an EVERY day, or every time ive ordered, situation. I can't speak for many of the other employees here, but I've never had a problem with the food and the manager, Christian, is super sweet and remembers us every time we come in! Even by Pizza Hut standards, this Hut isn't great. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because my hungry husband and I have satisfied enough late-night pizza cravings here that the staff know us and give us slightly better treatment. Customer service is pretty nil, especially if you dine in; the focus seems to be on their rushing delivery and carry-out business. The wait staff are high school- and college-age kids who seem to approach their jobs with as much enthusiasm as they would a standardized math test, but for the most part, they get our order right...when they get around to taking it. The last time they didn't, they gave us a free 2-liter of Pepsi because we had to wait so long, which was nice. read more

Completely messed up an online pizza order. Completely. Have a non pork eater in the house and both pizzas had pork. I usually just put up with mistakes, but the mistakes on these pies made them uneatable. Called for a cheese pie to be delivered and it is now over an hour later. Just because it says PizzaHut in the store and boxes and most if the products come from PizzaHut does not mean you will get a high quality pizza here. I ordered a triple threat cheese pizza about ten days ago. It had maybe one small handful of cheese total. Almost any other triple cheese pizza you would have cheese in a long string going from your mouth to the slice as you move away. (Like the pizza hut commercial). The owners here are so cheap they consistently skimp on pizza items. Pepperoni is sliced thinner. Cheese is NON-EXISTANT. I go to a further pizza hut and pick up when I want the delicious stuffed crust which is crack to me. The stuffed crust here is like someone misted the crust insides with cheese. On most slices, I cannot find cheese in the crust. ONLY AT THIS LOCATION WITH THE CHEAP OWNERS HERE. It it's consistently bad. Go somewhere else. read more

I truly hate this pizza hut but its the closest one to my house. The past few times I ordered pizza from them my food was ether half way cooked or burnt and when you call to let them know i was placed on hold entirely too long so i would just hang up. I questioned them and they said the only difference was the topping. About a month later I went to another location and ordered a pretzel crust pizza and it was a completely different crust. This is, by far, the worst experience I' ve ever had at a Pizza Hut (and, for that matter, at any pizza establishment). The pizzas took over an hour to arrive, and, when they did, they were horrible. I called the restaurant that delivered the pizzas after receiving them, and the manager reluctantly offered to resend my order "as soon as possible" if I would return what was left of the original order to the driver. After ANOTHER hour, the new pizzas arrived. Admittedly, they were in better condition than the previous ones (read: still warm), but the toppings were still unfresh, soggy, and disgusting. I will certainly never order from this particular Pizza Hut again, and probably never visit any Pizza Hut if I have any other reasonable options. Based on last night's experience, I would rather walk out of my way by a few blocks to go to a soup kitchen than take my chances and receive another meal of the caliber you had the audacity to allow to be stamped with your name. read more

Agreeing with all other reviews.... service is HORRIBLE. I ordered for delivery, attempting to use an entertainment.com coupon. I let them know about the coupon deal before hand (2 pizzas, any size, any toppings, for $10). After giving my entire order, they needed to speak with the manager, who then said that they may not be participating because they have no way of entering the number in the system. They said I would need to check if they are a participating location. I told them I would call back. After checking on entertainment.com's website, I found that they are indeed a participating location. http://dc-washington.entertainment.com/discount/browse.shtml I called back, and a different person picked up. I explained about my previous phone call and she proceeded to take my entire order once again, and once again, needed to speak with the manager. She came back on the phone and said the same thing the last guy said, explaining that one pizza alone is already $12. (Yea, I know that, that's why I wanted to use this coupon deal, obviously a very good deal). She asked if I would like to speak with the manager, I said yes, because he asked me to check, and I did. So she puts me on hold, and yet another person (non-manager) picks up saying "Thank you for calling Pizza Hut, is this delivery or carry out?" (Wtf....?)
