Hey friends! I loveeeeee pizza, especially traditional brick oven pizza. I ordered the Cheese Please. It was so delicious. My favorite part about brick oven pizza is the crunchy crust. The cheese was perfectly melted and the sauce was just enough. -Customer service was amazing! I ordered to go but chose to dine in last minute and an employee came over with a glass of water. So thoughtful. -Paid street parking In front of the restaurant. -Order was about $18 with tax. -Restaurant was clean and well stocked. -Pet friendly on the patio. I'll be back soon to check out their weekday specials. Hope you enjoy! With love, The Picky Pescatarian

Really yummy and well thought out pizza menu. We were surprised that they were divided into 3 (red, green and white pies) and took full advantage of the fact that you could have a half pie so we can try all the unique combinations. Of the green pies topped with kale, we wished it was fired a bit longer so it was crispy but the flavors were there, our table favored The Penelope side since it had a variety of flavors going on. Overall favorite was The Lucy, wouldn't expect the sweet potato topping but the salty sweet flavor pairing was really nice! This is an elevated pizza spot but they are doing all the right things that make the pizza tasting experience special and not too mundane.

While waiting for my meal at Menya, I decided to get a pie here. And I did not regret it! They have both outdoor and indoor seating, and ordering was pretty simple. Upon doing a self-order option, I got my pizza pie within 10 minutes of ordering. The service was pretty casual yet fast, and I think I ate my pizza too quick because it was so good. I also thought the pizza place had a cool look inside and could be a great venue for community hangouts or trivia. I feel bad for only using this space as a pit stop, but I totally would come back again!

Never ordered from here but it was fire! Only wish the pizza came in a larger size but that might just be me being greedy lol We got it for delivery but I guess because of the commute it was cold when it arrived. Didn't take away from the fact that it still looked great and tasted good I'd definitely recommend trying this place out for sure.

We were stuck between two options and we were told we were able to have half of two different options. I was so happy to hear that since we were able to try two of their different pizzas for one. It was absolutely delicious! The pizza is on the thinner side but still delicious with lots of flavor. The strawberry basil lemonade was so fresh and was a great refreshing drink. The lady helping was so helpful and nice!

Top notch Pizza, probably the best in DC with Stellina being a very very close second. Great atmosphere filled with great people working there. Although it was a very small place it had a super comfortable vibe to it. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a couple cocktails that were absolutely amazing. It's definitely a beer focused place but the cocktails did not disappoint. Pizza came out quick, and 100% cooked to perfection. Highly recommended, just a solid place cooking up some amazing pizza. Go for the pizza, stay for the atmosphere and service!!!

We keep our pies simple. Cheese, pepperoni, basil (if we're feeling adventurous). If the pizza maker uses quality ingredients, toppings are unnecessary. Timber gets this, delivering (literally) a quality pie crust, sauce, and cheese. Yes, they check all the boxes and we enjoyed our "boring" pizza very much.

The pizza super amazing, the space was small but cozy and staff were friendly and helpful!

I can't say enough good things about how delicious Timber Pizza's gluten-free crust is. I think I asked the server 5 times if they had mistakenly given me regular crust! I had half Bentley (with slow roasted pork) and half the Lot. I love that you can do half and half even with complex ingredients. The indoor space is small but I sat at the bar and had an absolutely lovely time. I cannot wait to go back!

I intentionally ventured into DC to try this place. It's a quaint neighborhood place. There's outside seating and a few spaces inside. The music was great. You order then you sit. Service was quick. I had the pulled pork empañadas which were served with some amazing sauce. The empañadas were made from the pizza dough which made them chewy. The prickly pear lemonade was super tasty. I just wish I had more lemonade and less ice. My pizza was the Pretty in Pepperoni. I would have liked more cheese and pepperoni on mine. I enjoyed to chewiness of the crust as well as the flavor of it. All in all it was a nice experience. The parking was rough.

Our favorite pizza spot in DC. The staff is always friendly when we dine in (bar seats are always the best) -- even sharing the playlist with us one time! And I love love love that they have a seasonable menu + the year-round favorites for pizza and salads (Bentley, Penelope, etc.). You can usually share one pizza and salad with 2 people, but you really should get two, and the empanadas. Not a huge fan of the butternut squash flavor, but the pork ones are fire. Would love for them to start a rewards program, and/or pizza-making classes - could be fun.

"Have you tried Red Hound Pizza? They have Sicilian pizza and softserve ice cream." Say no more!…read more This place is amazing - their menu changes based on the season's best ingredients and everything is sourced locally. The day we visited, they had a margherita pizza and a veggie (mozzarella, Italian dandelions, sun-dried tomatoes, whipped goat chevre & hot honey). I'm still not sure what an Italian dandelion is, but it tasted great. But my favorite was the soft-serve, Honey Cardamon Lemon with Pistachios. Inventive and yummy! FYI, you can order the soft-serve when you order your pizza, but pick it up at the end of your meal so it doesn't melt. The food tastes great, but most of all, it's local and family-owned. Definitely in my standard rotation of pizza places. You should definitely get out to Takoma Park and try Red Hound!

We tried the veggie and meat pizzas and agreed the veggie was the tastiest. Also had the soft serve and a slice of cake. Not as exceptional as the pizza but still yummy. Very nice staff. Took about 30 minutes for our two pizzas to come out and we enjoyed being outside in the back where they have a few simple picnic tables set up. Expect lots of people on a Friday evening but well worth the wait!

That evening I had a hankering for negronis, and true to the bottomless offer, they kept them coming! No sooner than I had taken the last sip of one drink than the next one appeared. No looking around for a waiter! I was really impressed with their attentiveness. The hospitality is truly impeccable. When I gave feedback that the caesar salad was way too salty, the manager understood precisely what had gone wrong and instantly replaced it. I would have liked two meatballs rather than one, which would have felt generous, but this was not intended to be a meal, after all. We also ordered the corn and jalapeno fritters (which were probably fabulous when they were originally conceived but not currently being executed well) and for dessert a fantastic zabaglioni. Little Coco's is casual but stylish, a fun place to go, as is to be expected at all of Jackie Greenbaum's spots. Aperitivo Hour is M-F from 5-7. Highly recommend!

Space -there is a front space which is more casual, grab a drink or bite and order from register. There are couches, low tops, communal table. Few outdoor seats in the front too. It's a great neighborhood spot for friends, families, and everybody in between.

When we first walked in, the cashier immediately apologized for the long wait times, thanked everyone for their patience, and let us know they were incredibly short staffed with only two people working. Because the tiny interior was already packed, we decided to leave and do some sightseeing first. However, seeing how good the pizza looked we knew we had to come back later that afternoon. There's no negative details in my review. Nothing but positive things and a small recommendation. 1. Staff and Service I really appreciated the cashier's honesty about running behind right off the bat. That allowed us to make an informed choice rather than get frustrated by a long wait. More businesses could learn from this! 2. Restaurant's Layout The inside is a bit tight and busy, but it's located in a smaller older building, so they have no other options. Since they can't expand the inside adding an outdoor pub height counter for eating, a bench or some seating out front would be a great way to give waiting patrons a place to sit. Also a place to eat. 3. The Pizza -The Veggie Pizza: My nephew and I both ordered this, and the slices were massive you'll see in my pics! They were honestly the largest slices I have ever seen! I love pizza and have eaten it in New York and Chicago, and my slice here held its own. It was loaded with a huge variety of vegetables. I requested to put mine through the oven twice to get the veggies warm and cooked because I noticed my nephew's slice looked like a warm salad on crust. So happy I did because it was delicious! The jalapeños were intensely spicy which is on me, since I'm a bit of a lightweight with spice! -The Meat Options: My son got the pepperoni and thought it was really good, and my husband got a supreme slice which he also said was good . 4. Price and pizza size- they're more expensive than a typical slice, but once you see those big ole slices in my pics you'll understand why. They can't even fit on a plate. They had to serve them to you in an actual pizza box! After reading my long review you're trying to find out if I would go back huh? Absolutely! If I ever in the area or stay at the Hilton DC again, I would definitely walk right on over and get a slice. You can feed a family of three on one slice! Adult and two small children!
