    Seasonal salad

Was so hungry the last time we went in, we forgot to take pictures of the pizza. This pizza is so yummy but their salads are also so good you almost forget you're eating a salad. They usually rotate a seasonal selection of salads so you know what you're getting is fresh and in season. For pizza, it's always so hard to just choose one or two kinds. But no matter what you decide on, you won't be disappointed. Personally, I'm a one pizza per person kinda gal, but these are for sure shareable and the ambiance is very relaxed and the staff is very nice and willing to make recommendations. A great staple in this area!

I can't say that I see the hype. True brick oven pizza that comes out hot and ready to go. The pizza is a little bit bigger than a standard medium pizza but thin crust for sure. I ordered the Pretty Pepperoni with bacon, and regular pretty pepperoni and and Margherita. They all took about 10 mintues. The pizza didn't blow me away but I think it's totally on par with the area. The customer service is great! The cashier was really personable and walked us through the menu.

Really yummy and well thought out pizza menu. We were surprised that they were divided into 3 (red, green and white pies) and took full advantage of the fact that you could have a half pie so we can try all the unique combinations. Of the green pies topped with kale, we wished it was fired a bit longer so it was crispy but the flavors were there, our table favored The Penelope side since it had a variety of flavors going on. Overall favorite was The Lucy, wouldn't expect the sweet potato topping but the salty sweet flavor pairing was really nice! This is an elevated pizza spot but they are doing all the right things that make the pizza tasting experience special and not too mundane.

Hey friends! I loveeeeee pizza, especially traditional brick oven pizza. I ordered the Cheese Please. It was so delicious. My favorite part about brick oven pizza is the crunchy crust. The cheese was perfectly melted and the sauce was just enough. -Customer service was amazing! I ordered to go but chose to dine in last minute and an employee came over with a glass of water. So thoughtful. -Paid street parking In front of the restaurant. -Order was about $18 with tax. -Restaurant was clean and well stocked. -Pet friendly on the patio. I'll be back soon to check out their weekday specials. Hope you enjoy! With love, The Picky Pescatarian

Never ordered from here but it was fire! Only wish the pizza came in a larger size but that might just be me being greedy lol We got it for delivery but I guess because of the commute it was cold when it arrived. Didn't take away from the fact that it still looked great and tasted good I'd definitely recommend trying this place out for sure.

We were stuck between two options and we were told we were able to have half of two different options. I was so happy to hear that since we were able to try two of their different pizzas for one. It was absolutely delicious! The pizza is on the thinner side but still delicious with lots of flavor. The strawberry basil lemonade was so fresh and was a great refreshing drink. The lady helping was so helpful and nice!

Top notch Pizza, probably the best in DC with Stellina being a very very close second. Great atmosphere filled with great people working there. Although it was a very small place it had a super comfortable vibe to it. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a couple cocktails that were absolutely amazing. It's definitely a beer focused place but the cocktails did not disappoint. Pizza came out quick, and 100% cooked to perfection. Highly recommended, just a solid place cooking up some amazing pizza. Go for the pizza, stay for the atmosphere and service!!!

We keep our pies simple. Cheese, pepperoni, basil (if we're feeling adventurous). If the pizza maker uses quality ingredients, toppings are unnecessary. Timber gets this, delivering (literally) a quality pie crust, sauce, and cheese. Yes, they check all the boxes and we enjoyed our "boring" pizza very much.

great service and patient staff took me a little while to choose what i wanted a very sold pizza spot definitely recommend to check them out

The pizza super amazing, the space was small but cozy and staff were friendly and helpful!

I can't say enough good things about how delicious Timber Pizza's gluten-free crust is. I think I asked the server 5 times if they had mistakenly given me regular crust! I had half Bentley (with slow roasted pork) and half the Lot. I love that you can do half and half even with complex ingredients. The indoor space is small but I sat at the bar and had an absolutely lovely time. I cannot wait to go back!

The day we visited, they had a margherita pizza and a veggie (mozzarella, Italian dandelions, sun-dried tomatoes, whipped goat chevre & hot honey). I'm still not sure what an Italian dandelion is, but it tasted great. But my favorite was the soft-serve, Honey Cardamon Lemon with Pistachios. Inventive and yummy! FYI, you can order the soft-serve when you order your pizza, but pick it up at the end of your meal so it doesn't melt. The food tastes great, but most of all, it's local and family-owned. Definitely in my standard rotation of pizza places. You should definitely get out to Takoma Park and try Red Hound!

Took about 30 minutes for our two pizzas to come out and we enjoyed being outside in the back where they have a few simple picnic tables set up. Expect lots of people on a Friday evening but well worth the wait!

That month I had started Uber driving, was in this area of DC, had heard good things about Wiseguy, and decided to eat here. Although I don't like paying to park just to simply eat a meal, I sometimes will make an exception for convenience and/or if it's a place I really want to go. But for the most part, I'll go to restaurant where they have free parking or at least I can find free parking near the restaurant. I remembered getting a parking spot very close and feel like I feed the meter like 50 cents in 2014 parking prices for a quick 30 minute meal. They have all kinds of varieties of slices from the standard toppings or just cheese to fancy ones. Although the pizza is fairly thin, but average for New York style pizza. I tried Andy's Pizza 11 years later in 2025, and while it was solid although not as good as Wiseguy, my real complaint with Andy's was that the pizza is very thin, where I was hungry very soon later; so a much worse value as pricing is comparable to Wiseguy. Wiseguy slices are big, and the pizza is top notch New York style. I went to this location a couple of more times after my initial August 2014 visit as I loved the pizza. Then, they opened up other locations. I went to Navy Yard one at least twice, once after a Nationals baseball game after a disappointing loss for my 4th favorite baseball team, Texas Rangers. Sorry Nats fans, but Nats are in my bottom 10 teams. I also went to Rosslyn & Pentagon City location, where parking isn't quite as bad. They even had a Wheaton Mall food court location, which I got to experience once, but they sadly closed. Every experience with Wiseguy has been positive.

No looking around for a waiter! I was really impressed with their attentiveness. The hospitality is truly impeccable. When I gave feedback that the caesar salad was way too salty, the manager understood precisely what had gone wrong and instantly replaced it. I would have liked two meatballs rather than one, which would have felt generous, but this was not intended to be a meal, after all. We also ordered the corn and jalapeno fritters (which were probably fabulous when they were originally conceived but not currently being executed well) and for dessert a fantastic zabaglioni. Little Coco's is casual but stylish, a fun place to go, as is to be expected at all of Jackie Greenbaum's spots. Aperitivo Hour is M-F from 5-7. Highly recommend!

When we first walked in, the cashier immediately apologized for the long wait times, thanked everyone for their patience, and let us know they were incredibly short staffed with only two people working. Because the tiny interior was already packed, we decided to leave and do some sightseeing first. However, seeing how good the pizza looked we knew we had to come back later that afternoon. There's no negative details in my review. Nothing but positive things and a small recommendation. 1. Staff and Service I really appreciated the cashier's honesty about running behind right off the bat. That allowed us to make an informed choice rather than get frustrated by a long wait. More businesses could learn from this! 2. Restaurant's Layout The inside is a bit tight and busy, but it's located in a smaller older building, so they have no other options. Since they can't expand the inside adding an outdoor pub height counter for eating, a bench or some seating out front would be a great way to give waiting patrons a place to sit. Also a place to eat. 3. The Pizza -The Veggie Pizza: My nephew and I both ordered this, and the slices were massive you'll see in my pics! They were honestly the largest slices I have ever seen! I love pizza and have eaten it in New York and Chicago, and my slice here held its own. It was loaded with a huge variety of vegetables. I requested to put mine through the oven twice to get the veggies warm and cooked because I noticed my nephew's slice looked like a warm salad on crust. So happy I did because it was delicious! The jalapeños were intensely spicy which is on me, since I'm a bit of a lightweight with spice! -The Meat Options: My son got the pepperoni and thought it was really good, and my husband got a supreme slice which he also said was good . 4. Price and pizza size- they're more expensive than a typical slice, but once you see those big ole slices in my pics you'll understand why. They can't even fit on a plate. They had to serve them to you in an actual pizza box! After reading my long review you're trying to find out if I would go back huh? Absolutely! If I ever in the area or stay at the Hilton DC again, I would definitely walk right on over and get a slice. You can feed a family of three on one slice! Adult and two small children!
