    My Receipt

On 10-11-2022 I stopped at this Pizza Hut on my way home. I got one large pizza with two toppings. I picked it up fifteen min. Latter I payed cash. Got a receipt. Then before I left I asked for two ranch dips they charged me 3.79 for two dips. I know that was wrong so I went to my car to get my phone. I showed the cashier that the dips only cost 89 cents each with tax 90 cents . She gave me the line I can't give you the money back even if I over charged you I will give you five dollars credit on you phone number. I said I just wanted what she over charged back. She refused. Her name wasCallie #039630

Each menu item is influenced by a different country from around the world. After reading the menu you can place your order at a kiosk or go to the counter. The card reader asks you to add a tip before you receive your order. My wife and I both enjoyed our menu selections. You will appreciate the quality of the ingredients. Our order arrived fairly quickly. For two entrees and two drinks you can expect to pay over $40. This is a little pricey when you consider that you are eating out of a paper bowl with plastic utensils in a fast food restaurant.

Each dish is from a different country, and I think they have a few specials that are more traditional plates. I love west African and Caribbean food, and Reno is severely lacking in both of these options, so it was very welcome to see some options from these locations. I got a rice bowl with Senegalese Mafffe. The food came out fast, and was very good, just the right amount of spice, and killer flavors. The pricing is very fair ($12 for a high quality dish). The portions were a little small, but that's probably a good thing. My biggest complaint is that it has scratched an itch I forgot I had, and now I want a more full fleged West African food experience.

There are a couple places to sit indoors and outdoors, we opted to sit outside. Our cashier, Alex was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. I opted for a bacon cheeseburger protein style and regular size of tater tots. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious and the tater tots tasted fresh and were crunchy. The prices are affordable and I look forward to returning when I'm in the area.

She is always cleaning and keeping busy. One time it was just my husband and I. She had no one else to attend to so she keeps herself busy by cleaning the most random things, but again that's how to keep a place looking nice by staying on top of the little things. If I was the owner I would be proud to have her as my employee. Now on to the food. It's next to canes so it's hard to not compare the tenders and bread. Canes has better bread but that's it. This place has good tenders, hot dogs and burgers. They also have shakes and some other items. I have tried most items on the menu and the only thing I didn't care for was the toast. Everything else has been delicious and fresh tasting. The quality of burger is so much better the a lot I have tried.

I glanced at yelp to see what the rating was and it was high so we ordered. It's somewhat my fault, I should have gone through the reviews on yelp which are mostly positive because of the ice cream- not the food. Hot dogs - Costco beef hot dogs in soggy bun. Go directly to Costco and get it for $1.50 instead. Grilled cheese- I realize we ordered takeout but this is the soggiest grilled cheese I've ever eaten. The cheese was rubber and the bread was like wet cardboard. Hamburgers- the patties were mid. Hard to tell if they were Costco beef patties but they probably were. They were also soggy and smothered in a watery copy of McD Big Mac sauce. Fries- ordered crispy and got frozen fries from a bag that were super soggy. Chili cheese fries- same as the fries above but added canned chili and canned cheese. Onion rings- previously frozen maybe Oneida onion rings from a bag. Cheaper to buy and make yourself. Corn dog- my daughter liked it but she likes the corn dogs that come in the freezer section at Safeway which this is exactly like. To sum it up- if you're getting any food, I'd go elsewhere. I'm sure the ice cream is good though given the other reviews. Maybe in person the French fries wouldn't be so soggy they disintegrate in your hands. The food was gross and overpriced for being what it was - resold frozen food items and Costco hot dogs. I thought this was like old school drive in diner food but it's not. Super disappointed as I ended up not eating any of it because it was just gross. Again, partially my fault for not reading the reviews on yelp and not just see a good rating and assume the food would be ok.

The service was friendly and their timing was accurate (it was just about 10 minutes for 2 taco plates that each included 3 tacos each with rice and beans). Price was reasonable too. It was $15 for the taco plate (3 tacos, rice, beans) and that included a can of soda. Beans were very soft and certainly made with delicious lard. Rice was soft and fluffy and light in flavor (but in a good way-- it balanced the plate really well). Red salsa was like a mild/medium and was more hot than the green salsa (the green salsa had a mild heat). We tried the avocado salsa too; I could see that being amazing on a quesadilla. The avocado salsa also has some mild heat to it. The taco truck itself is fine but the area doesn't have the best ambiance (we saw a number of people out on foot at night in the nearby parking lots looking like they were possibly on drugs-- and this was when it was under 30 degrees out with some residual snow and ice on the ground from the recent storm). Nevertheless, the "ambiance" won't deter us from returning again-- and I must say as someone who previously lived in So Cal THESE were the kind of carne asada tacos my taste buds have been searching for in Reno.

Who doesn't love In-N-Out Burger?…read more I remember anytime we drove to California, we had to stop in Auburn, no matter how long the line was just to get our burger fix. It was a must every single time. Now look at us, we've got three locations in Reno, one on the way, and even one in Sparks. Back then, we paid about $7.95 for two full meals. Now it's closer to $16--and we're sharing fries and a drink That said, the quality is still fantastic for fast food, and honestly, the price is still pretty reasonable. The staff really know what they're doing too. They've got a system to keep things moving, but let's be real, it's still usually a 20-30 minute wait in the drive-thru when it's busy. I always wonder... would it be faster to go inside? Honestly, I don't think so! Whether you're inside or outside, it's worth the wait the moment you take that first bite of a freshly made burger or those hand-cut fries. And don't forget the milkshakes-lthey're so good! A double cheeseburger with fries and a milkshake. The burger was okay. A very average burger with nothing special about it but nothing bad either. The fries were pretty mediocre, pretty small and a bit flat in taste. The milkshake was the same as the burger. Good but nothing special Overall this was a perfectly acceptable place with good food, but not much more. Especially the menu which is hilariously tiny. Burgers, fries and drinks, that's it.
