Corn dog respectfully was doused in ketchup by my significant other but she did reserve a small area towards the butt that was free from preserved tomatoes and sugar. In that price I found perfection. Tasty batter with a plump frank underneath kissing my buds and tingling my throat as it made its way down into my stomach. The fries were equally as tasty. Fried to perfection sprinkled with some Parmesan that absolutely paired wonderfully with the corn dog. All in all, service was good. Food did not take long to get to us. My husband and I shared the chicken strips with fries and I can honestly say that I was blown away by their fry cutting technique, which were large, wide spirals, completely coated in seasoning. The cut gave the fries the wedge cut texture without all of the skin. We adults really enjoyed the chicken strips, and with only two plates between the four of us, we walked away full and happy.

Chick-N-My-Waffle, thin chicken breast with a crispy peppery breading. The waffle was moist with a crisp outside to make the perfect sandwich. A drizzle of the maple syrup topped the sandwich. I went with a 5pc chicken strip meal which came with fries, an order of onion rings, and a beef empanada. Yeah this was my meal for the entire day. Despite the size, my order was turned out promptly. The chicken strips were huge by comparison to other trucks. The serving of fries was generous and perfectly cooked. They had a variety of sauces including BBQ, ranch, honey mustard, and spicy. I sampled all four. I found myself completely cleaning out my cup of honey mustard which complimented the strips quite well. The basket of onion rings was large for the price. The empanada was fair in size. The good...I really felt like I got my money's worth. The 5pc meal was huge for the price. I recommend the 3pc option unless you're really hungry. The strips themselves were great and the sauce variety made for a good meal. The bad...The empanada was absolutely average. It filled my stomach but it didn't "wow" me. Both the empanada and the onion rings needed to be shaken out a bit more from the fryer as they were really greasy (more than what I'd normally expect). One of my big appeals with this truck is their serving sizes. Just based off what I ordered, it would be quite easy to split items between a friend or coworker. Toppings range from $0.50-$1. They even have white sauce and pesto sauce options. The pizzas are personalized however you want and are run through an oven which cooks them in 5-6 minutes. They even featured a special of the day which was an Italian sausage with sweet peppers on a roll for only $5. To sample more for a proper review I sacrificed my waistline. The pizza was tasty and perfectly cooked. The toppings were fresh. The Italian sausage was a full link (rather than slices) which just enough marinara to make it gooey but without dripping everywhere or making the roll super soggy. The couple running the truck were very friendly and made sure to point out napkins and shaker toppings when I picked up my order. The good...The food was great and reasonably priced. I genuinely felt like they wanted it to be "my" pizza. The options were about me not what they were offering. Even when taking the sandwich order I was asked about all the parts to ensure what I wanted. Nice! The bad...This is one of those cases where there really wasn't a bad. However believing in balance I really have to get nitty to come up with one. While the variety of toppings were excellent, I'm more of a pricing based on quantities of toppings (1, 2, 3, etc...) versus per topping. As I said...this is nitpicking. After being disappointed with another waffle at a local breakfast eatery I decided to give this one a try at Food Truck Fridays. We wanted something sweet and the only other option was an icecream truck, plus the line was short and moving fast. The tiny trailer is manned by a friendly father and young son duo I think. Son takes the order and cash and father makes and hands out the waffles. Smells were delightful and I was pleased to note they were making the waffles fresh, not reheating them like other establishments I've visited. Prices were very fair at $3.50 for a waffle, .50cents for chocolate/caramel syrup/ or fruit preserves, and $5 for a waffle with scoop of icecream and topping. I think Liege waffles are sweet enough on their own. after a brief wait I was handed the hot little waffle in a paper sleeve and I did ask for a dusting of powdered sugar. I was happy to see the glossy crusty blobs of carmelized sugar that are hallmark for this type of waffle and it appears they used real belgian sugar crystals, not the smaller swedish ones. hot, sweet, yeasty, and delicious. A nice treat for the summer weekends! update: I had a nice conversation with the father and he explained they do bake them ahead of time and reheat/recrisp them in the waffle irons on site. The quality is still very good. one other note to potential customers is that the line tends to stack up a little bit after you place your order. It's torturous to stand and wait while smelling the warm sweet scent wafting out of the trailer, but it's worth the wait!

When I got my food, the interaction was minimal--just a quick question about the receipt. I don't recall them even saying "Thank you". The vibe felt off, especially since it wasn't busy. My experience could have been improved with even a small amount of business-initiated interaction. I'm grateful that I got to try this place with Yelp's help.
