The salad bar is always well cared for, but we usually get pizza to go. Love the App, they are always speedy as can be, and they don't skimp on the toppings. At 6:22 October 9, 2020 I tried to pick up 4 pizzas I ordered by phone. My partner picked them up and came to the car and notified me no one was wearing a mask including the manager who refused to wear a mask even when confronted. I went in to return the pizzas and was thrown out of the facility and told I would get a refund. Very sad. I will also report the incident to the public health department and Pizza Hut corporate. read more

The food is pretty much as you would expect from a Pizza Hut. Not bad, not great. But pretty much on par with what you've come to expect from Pizza Hut over the decades. The restaurant itself looks like it was built in the early eighties and hasn't been updated at all oh, but it's kind of cool in a kitschy nostalgic sort of way. The reason for my low star review is that I believe on three occasions now we've ordered pizza and then waited well past the delivery time and not heard anything. Then we call only to be told that the delivery person called out sick and could we please come get our order. The problem is that called should have been made easily 30 minutes earlier and they should have called us instead of us having to call them. The first time it happened we just went and picked it up. But then it was obvious when we got home that the food has been ready for quite some time and just sitting under heat lamps. Pretty inedible. But after this last time, which I'd like I said I believe is the third time, we're done. And given the news that Pizza Hut has filed for bankruptcy, I suspect how incompetently this location was run is probably indicative of the chain as a whole. And the fact that they've got an overall terrible star rating here on Yelp and haven't done anything directed by the situation confirms that. Now if only someone could open up a decent low-priced restaurant here in Wimberley that treated locals the way they deserve to be treated. read more

I was in wimberly and tried to order pizza online. They website was having issues. It states "online orders unavailable due to store closed". First of all it was not closed. I was trying to order a pizza online. It was called the tastefulness or something to that nature. It was 10$. I called the store and explained what was going on. At first they would not even honor the order. I was told they cannot apply a coupon from online to a phone order. I explained in detail what was going on. I even spoke to the manager. The manager also did not want to honor it. I politely asked the the general manager number. That this does need to be addressed and should be honored. THEN they went ahead and honored it. I didn't even get the GM name, the manager placed my order and I picked it up. Why couldn't this just be done initially, ESPECIALLY when they already had calls about online ordering being down. Imagine how many other customers had to pay more than what was online. I felt like the store took aft of customers that day. read more

After an order was 40 minutes late, arrived cold, incorrect pizzas, and the credit card slip was forgotten, I decided to call back and being that I must be such a terrible person paying $30 for cold late food and wanting to correct it. I am handicapped without a car and requested they drive 1 extra mile from where they want to meet for delivery with my $43 order and an extra $10 tip and I got attitude from the driver and the manager Andy about my business not being worth while for them. However, their delivery to my house, 10 minutes or more away is amazingly fast! They have always got our order correct and to my house usually in 25 minutes give or take. My husband and I have ordered from Pizza Hut several times, and we have always been pleased with the pizza and the delivery service that we have received. Until tonight. We ordered a large pepperoni with extra cheese, like we always do, and we were told that it would be arriving at 8:10. Well, at 8:30 we called and we were told that the pizza was in transit. Fine. Great. No problem. My husband did not check he pizza when it arrived, tipped the delivery guy as usual, and brought it into then house. Well, not only was it burned, it was CHARRED! So, I called CODY, "the manager," and complained, asking for another pizza. He told me that it would be a 2 hour wait, and that he would credit us for the next time. No, that was not acceptable. So, we got in the car, drove to their location, and showed CODY the charred pizza, asking him if he would eat it. He said "yes" because the pizza was in the "spectrum" of color. CODY was doubly arrogant in person. I asked him if he had a card so that we could contact the owner of the franchise, and he told me "no," that I could find the owner online. Well, guess what? I decided to order a pizza as I received an ad in the mail that says any pan pizza, any size, any toppings $10. No limits, expires April 2 2011. I called to order one and asked for 7 toppings. I was told I could only order a pizza with 5 toppings max for the $10. The ad does not mention a limit. I asked the manager and he told me they limit to five toppings and "corporate will not allow us to add more than 5" I asked for the local general mgr phone number but he could not give it to me. He told me to take the online survey...... Papa Johns has a special which will allow up to 7 toppings and even says to in the ad. I think this is false advertising and that Pizza Hut is fooling the public with this ad. I told the mgr that for the cost of two toppings $2, that Pizza Hut has lost a customer for life. I love this place. when I want to save on the tip and delivery fee I do carry out and am always greeted warmly and they make sure I have everything I need. The reviews complaining about wait times I see are all from Friday nights. Honestly, what do you expect? The one time I did get a wrong order I called to let them know there might have been a mix up and they generously offered to correct my order but the one I got smelled so good and now I order it every time! The drivers are always so polite and I know most of them are high school or college students and I'm happy to know that my gratuity is going to be spent making their futures brighter, or at least a little easier. I've ordered PH numerous times in the 6 different locations I have lived in thus far. None come close to the level of "suck" this location exemplifies. THIRD order in a row over the past 2 months they got wrong. I called the store manager after my wife came home with the "product" tonight (a mushroom and spinach that looked like it was cooked for another customer earlier in the day with handful of spinach thrown on it, two personal pizzas tossed into a medium pizza box with the pieces all tossed around, and a meat pizza COVERED in a spicy sauce that was meant for the crust. Gross.) Manager was more interested in directing conversation towards what I did wrong (which was nothing. Correction: Attempting to do business at this location for a third time was what I did wrong.) This manager then became condescending, at one point calling me by my full name as if I was a student in his classroom misbehaving. I see all of the complaints on here and wonder, "Who owns this place?" Does the franchise owner not care? Or is this corporate store, too far out for regional managers to care about? C'mon Papa Johns--time to open a franchise in Wimberley and put this place out-of-business! My daughter has bought many pizzas from Pizza Hut in Wimberley when she has had friends over and they typically spend $50 or more. Last night she decided to order pizza for herself and her five year old son. They waited over an hour before she called Pizza Hut and was told they had no record of the order. She told them she has a screen shot of the order and confirmation and delivery time. The Manger said we have no record but we will make you another pizza now but she heard a girl in the background tell them to spit in it. My daughter told them to forget the pizza as she would not take food from any place that will threaten to spit in the food. She then drove to Pizza Hut and took her son to show them whose food they would be spitting in. The Manager said that problem had been taken care of and that employee was sent home but another girl was standing behind him smirking. That behavior is outrageous for a business. I have heard so many complaints about Pizza Hut around our community but nothing to this extent. The staff at Pizza Hut should be replaced. If a Manger can say he sent an employee home for threatening to spit in food instead of firing her. The mistake was theirs and my daughter had proof of the order with their confirmation. So, rather than apologizing and owning the mistake, they decided to behave like the bad mannered children they are. I know this is a small community and its hard to find people to work there other than teenagers. I have nothing against teens working and most are very reliable. It appears as if Pizza Hut in Wimberley has not been taught business or professional ethics and manners. I will be contacting the corporate office and speaking directly with a Branch Manger. I will also contact the Health department. They may not have been serious about spitting in my Grandson's food but I have a feeling they were very serious as the attitude when my daughter spoke to them in person did not improve.
