Synopsis - Great pizza and great variety! We've been to Mellow Mushroom a couple times now. The food is always delicious and make up for the fact that the prices are a bit higher than other pizza restaurants. I would also say that you often times get a much wider variety here than you would anywhere else. As we ended up ordering at lunchtime, our order was delayed a little bit. But the server was extremely kind about the delay and made it all worth it. It is definitely a spot. Stopped in today after going to iSmash at The Factory - parking lot was packed. I forgot just how small this restaurant is - even with the outdoor seating. We ordered the bruschetta appetizer, it was pretty sad. 5 really tiny pieces of bread and pretty meh. We ordered combo pizza - 1/2 holy shiitake and half white. The pizza is good, main issue is pretty slow service. Took quite a while to get our food. $55 for lunch before tip is pretty pricey. read more

We've eaten there for dinner and have also had deliveries and take out here. Atmosphere is good, always have had good service, and their pizza has been good nearly every time we've ordered. We had one pizza ordered dine in and it was not as good as usual but that was some time ago. That pizza was soggy. But we gave them another chance and the pizzas since have been very good. Everything everywhere dining has gotten rather expensive. We do not go out as often as a result. read more

This was the first time we dined in at Mellow Mushroom - we usually order pick-up. It was a GREAT experience, starting with Dwayne, our server who was chill and laser-focused. He was wicked busy ("in the weeds" was the term we used back when I was waiting tables) and we marveled at his attention with each table, and the speed with which the drinks and apps came. The menu lists the Spicy Mango Maragarita, but I'm not a mango fan and asked if I could get a non-mango spicy 'rita - Dwayne assured me that I could get ANY margarita spicy - a great relief and a very tasty spicy drink! The bone-in chicken wings were perfectly seasoned and the side of sweet Thai chili jived perfectly wth the spicy margarita - and Dwayne's spirted presentation was fun! (see pic). The tailored Mighty Meaty pizza (pesto base baked crisply w/ black olives, garlic, topped w/ diced raw onions - the pic can only try to capture the deliciousness visually - ya gotta try this combination y'all! Worst service ever! Waited an hour and a half for our pizza only for a manager to come tell us they delivered our pizza to the wrong table and wanted us to stay while they made another one for us. Went for family dinner with two toddlers to this location and of course they loved the vibrant colors and whimsical decorations. Our server was Nate and not sure if he was nervous or just new. He did not get our order correct even after he repeated it back to us we made some corrections and it still did not come out correctly. We ordered the mac and cheese with apples for the kids , half order of the steak and cheese hoagie for me and a half half pizza for my husband. I was told that I could not substitute a side salad for the tater tots that came with my meal. That was the first time hearing that maybe new rules or just this location. Nate tried his best and we really appreciated him. I gave a 3 star because we all had stomach aches not even 20 minutes from leaving the establishment and the only common thing we all had was some of the mighty meat /funky q pizza. Been to multiple mellow mushrooms around the state. *pizza fantastic and cooked properly. * to go order and the front desk worker (presumably manager) brought it out and opened the box in front of me to make sure it was in order. It was. That attention to detail was superb. *taste - fantastic. Half and half: *restaurant allows you to order two style of pizza for a single pie!!! Best of both worlds. Did I want an entire deluxe? No. An entire white pizza? No. But I can have both on the left and right side? YEAH. It's genius and I'm surprised other restaurants haven't copied their idea. read more

I had a small thin and crispy pepperoni pizza for take out. I arrived before the ready time given on the app and it was ready early. Yes! Although I was in take out mode, I had time to check out the dining area. To me, it has a sort of San Francisco 1960's hippie vibe. Love it. To celebrate the start to our weekend we dropped in for a late dinner tonight while in the area. This place has more mushrooms than Super Mario. An adorable patio to dine outside and plenty of dining room. This restaurant is adorable and a hippie's paradise. It's super psychedelic and zen. The menu is huge and there is something for everyone to enjoy. Our waiter was Sunshine and she was awesome. We decided on the Pretzel bites with beer cheese for a app. You must try it ! We couldn't stop eating. For entrees my daughter had the Small Buffalo chicken pizza and I had the small house pie. Small is a understatement! The serving sizes are humongous ! Not a great experience. Ordered a pair of pizzas for the table. Food took 45 minutes to be delivered. One was ice cold, the other lukewarm. Manager re-made the cold one (10 minutes). We ate the other. Would have been pretty tasty if it was hot. We were comped the ice-cold one and the replacement. After my last visit I was weary to return. But after speaking with the manager here, I decided to give it another try. I know right now everywhere is short staffed.... Tonight we went for pizza. And had a much better experience. The wings were absolutely 1000% better. We got a cheese Pizza, The house special, and then another one that I'm not sure of the name. I think it's the wild Havana? Everything this time was so good. Our waitress you could tell was stressed. We observed that she had checking and saving a lot of tables. At least seven or eight. Atleast half the tables were dirty (food, drinks, etc) and the floor was also littered with random garbage around tables. The ugly: We were seated directly next to kitchen and noticed none of the cooks were wearing beard covers (one cooks beard was very long). First visit. Ordered online & picked up curbside. Ordered 2 pizza & cheese bread special, and I was not impressed...AT ALL. The pizza sauce was salty on both pizzas & the cheese bread was DRYYYYYYY!! I needed that salty side of tomato sauce just to get that 1 bite down. My friend raves about this place from going to a different one. I was better off going to Dominoes or something. At least the cheese bread wouldn't have almost choked me to death. The service was ok & the online ordering was easy. I may try it again if someone else pays for it again. This is a classic. Service is great, we got seated right away and our food came within 30 minutes. The crust is the shwaest thing ever. The pizza was good. But the service was not what I expected. 1. Was told would have a 15 min wait. When longer, I checked and my name had been scratched of the wait list. ?? 2. My drink order was incorrect, it took very long time to get what I order, even though the drink station was just beside our table. 3. I received my bill and paid with a credit card. I did not receive a copy, I had to hail down our server again to get a transaction copy. The biggest mistake I made was not getting pizza from here. We got takeout but the place had a few customers when I arrived. The first thing I noticed was the music was cutting in and out which made it very annoying and unpleasant. The music genre was perfect but it seemed it was attached to someone's phone and they keep losing connection. Let's get to the food. The family got the pretzel bites which are always good and I went with the Steak and Cheese Hoagie. The sandwich came with lettuce and tomato besides the traditional steak, cheese, peppers and onions. The lettuce was almost wilted and soggy by the time I got home. They also took the entire leaf of romaine so some parts were super thick and the other parts were the wilted which made it nasty. It does not come with fries which is weird so I settled for chips. I doubt I'll get this ever again and would only recommend the pizza. I would have given 5 stars but it takes a lot of work to muck up a steak and cheese. read more

Not bad, but definitely not life changing... ordered online with a 50 minute pick up time I was nearby so I stopped 40 minutes after I placed my order -hoping to bring home hot food. My order was sitting by the door nice and cold. Which was fine for the salad but the pie and bread had to go back into the oven at home after a long 9 minute drive. They ask for phone number, opt in to text messages, get your email address but in no way let you know your order is done and sitting by the door? The food is acceptable. The pizzas are not great but the salads are ok. The service though is awful. Prepare to wait forever for your order and prepare for it definitely to be wrong. So far, in the last year 6/6 orders have been incorrect (mostly all missing items). It's really freaking annoying to be missing something and realize when your home. I was a first-time customer on 7/30/24. I placed an online pickup oder and was told it would be 25 minutes. I arrived and was told it would be about 10 more minutes. I waited in my car and went back in and was told it would be another 15 minutes because the kitchen was really backed up (on a Tuesday ???). Came in for a quick lunch with my daughter. They have a good lunch deal: one 1-topping slice with a salad for $5.99. The salad was fresh and had a good mix of greens (not just a bowl of iceberg). Pizza slices were large and tasted ok. Bathrooms were extremely clean! The staff had amazing customer service. The host was handling a bunch of stuff and still kept his cool and smiled. This is my first visit at this location and my second visit to Mellow Mushroom. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and 3 soft drinks. All for $28.55. The pizza was good. Taylor was our server. She was nice. One of the menus had a hair in it. And one of the chairs has a bunch of cheese all over it. This location has really gone downhill in the last year. The crust used to be buttered and had grated parmesan all over it, just like every other Mellow Mushroom I've ever been to. Now it just doesn't come that way any more. After a couple of instances of this, I specifically asked about it and they said that they still do it, so I requested that they make sure that my pizza came that way. I got it and I still don't think it was buttered and the parmesan was lousy powdered "spaghetti cheese". In addition, the toppings have gotten pretty skimpy and the pizza always seems to be slightly underdone. I don't know if these changes have happened to all the locations -- this is the only one I've been to since this started happening -- but I've started getting pizza elsewhere. read more
