I went to pizza inn on National Parks Hwy today. When we walked in, the floors were dirty. When we went up to the buffet to get food, it all looked like it had been out for a couple hours. The service was terrible. The waitress came and gave us our refills. However, she didnt grab the stack of plates that were piling up. When we went to pay, it took 3-4 minutes to even be helped. They were all standing around talking and looked at us if we were interrupting. I noticed as i was walking to the restroom that the changing station for children is outside of the restrooms. Thats not a very logical place to have that. Especially since it is within feet from where people eat. Will never eat at this location again!! read more

This is for pizza in North in carlsbad ordered a medium Pizza back in March 10th of 2025 they messed up the toppings I told him to withhold the cheese they put the cheese on there. Since I live in loving 14 mi away I just called back and see if they could honor me another Pizza. Manager put me in the system and I had a pizza on there free of charge. We ordered a large extravaganza and that pizza on April 3rd within a month and they would not honor my pizza. Picked up a pepperoni pizza to go and it was fabulous! Food was hot and plenty of cheese. Enjoyed by teens and adults alike.

I thought they went out of business 20 years ago. Went for the nostalgia of it. It was just like I remembered it. Honestly, the thin crust wasn't half bad and the 'beef topping' was the exact same as 30 years ago. Surprisingly positive experience but definitely middle of the road pizza. read more

I'm not sure why the reviews for here are so unfavorable. We went in right at lunch time for the buffet. Yes it is an old building but everything is clean. Employees were all wearing mask and when eating at buffet you're given gloves and your own spatula for pizza. Most of the pizza was fresh and those that weren't very fresh were being switched out as they became ready. Very friendly and attentive waitress came by several times to clear plates and ask if we needed refills. I would highly recommend. read more

Well they were a little busy tonight I can in for the buffet the always had fresh pizza and many people had the salad bar. It was quite so people could talk and I requested a pizza and they fixed it and it was great. The floor was clean and the tables were clean and when people was leaving they came out and cleaned up and took care of the customers. I was well satisfied. read more

I can't believe I'm giving a pizza place a five-star rating, but here it is... We went on a night that they were having a "Buffet Night." Regardless, we ordered our own choice pizza. I am here only temporarily, then going back to Houston, Texas in the fall. I come from the suburbs, where you can order ANYTHING your heart desires, and the restaurants and food are great. My wife and kids noticed we had a problem with 2 of the pizzas I ordered. When I called I was transfered to the manager Marisa, I explained a funny taste coming from the crust. She immediately started investigating and found the problem. It was nothing major, it was simply a cook grabbing the wrong crust to soon before it had completed rising. Which i know from cooking can give it a funky taste. Melissa apologized and gave us a coupon to re order our entire meal. I explained she didn't have to but she insisted. Plus, our strange server couldn't be found when we wanted to get the check and leave--she was on a smoke break Nice. Our first time for delivery and to eat here. I am giving them 4 stars due to the customer service. We had an issue with what we ordered. I called to let them know and they were Johnny on the spot with trying to fix it! I appreciate really good customer service and because if it we will order again. I had the Ham and pineapple on thin crust. It was good. The crust is like a cracker crust. Issue was I wanted bacon and extra cheese and extra pineapple. But they didn't include the add ins but I was charged for them. My husband got the Meaty Max with the Italian crust. He said it was very good. Again customer service is the key here. We ate at pizza inn after a long day outdoors. When we entered, we were seated quickly. Our server brought our drinks quickly, and we chose the buffet. The pizza on the buffet was old, but some more edible than others. We ordered 2 pizzas to be made fresh for the buffet. our server brought us 4 slices of each ordered, and then put the rest at the buffet. Pretty good pizza when fresh. Also, they have many pizza crusts to choose from. And specialty pizzas aswell. They had freshly made dessert pizzas coming out one after another. My husband and kids loved them. The restaurant itself is very dingy, and dirty looking. But our service was excellent! !! The service alone will have us back! And we will order fresh pizzas too. read more

From some of the reviews I was expecting this to be a lot worse. While at first glance I wasn't overly impressed with looking at the buffet, I took a chance and had a couple small slices. It actually wasn't bad, although the crust edge was a little dry, but I don't eat those normally anyway, so no loss there. Dessert pizza was good - lot of cinnamon flavor. Seats are in definite need of updating. Just about every bench has a lot of torn fabric. Also had to hunt down our waitress to get a refill on our drinks. Passing through town, we arrived at 5:15, and the dining room was full of dirty tables. Supposedly, a large party had just left and there was no time to clean the tables before we arrived. There is a very limited beer menu, and the only option for dinner that we were offered was a buffet. While we ate, we observed the waitress stand at a neighboring table and proceed to peel, slice, and eat a whole cucumber instead of cleaning tables. Decent service. Pizza was horrible ive had better pizza from the frozen food section of walmart. The crust was really bland and felt stale. The sauce and cheese was the same on every pizza only a little difference with each slice. The coke i ordered was flat and the dessert trays were empty for about 26 min while i was there, until i asked the waitress and she had the cooks put some on. To top it off a pregnant waitress came by the buffet and while staring at the kitchen she started jostling her hand around the carrot tray on the salad bar and since she wasnt looking she touched about every carrot in the cup with her bare hand, picked one up and ate it. The price was amazing. 7 of us ate for 35$. But none of us were thrilled despite eating a variety of items. The buffet was eventually stocked with hot pizza but it didn't taste any better than the old cold stuff. My sandwich was ok but nothing to write home about.
