Pizza J- What can't you do?!!! Always a fan favorite- love this place! Solid and friendly service and great ambiance with some fun games to play as well! Get ANY of their pizzas, wings, and their fantastic cocktails! I LOVE THIS PLACE AND HAVE BEEN EVEN MORE IMPRESSED ON MY LAST TWO VISITS!

Pizza options were delicious......the server recommended getting half of one flavor and half of another....... Appreciate that!!!! The service was great.....I went and it was a bit busy there were no parking available so had to park on the side street.... The sangria was very tasty......

Some really really delicious pizza going on over here. Pizza J is a spot my vegan friend recommended, for good reason! I absolutely loved everything we had, but the seitan wing things were my favorite. stellar job. The vegan buffalo chicken pizza was a showstopper. Service was friendly (if not overly friendly) and we had a great time. The place itself is cool. Arcade-y, neon, smells incredible, I would love to be back. I wish they were closer to Boston!!!

Consistently one of my fave pizza joints in Providence. Fun Atmosphere, and spacious, and has pinball! Cmon!! Pinball, people!! How great is that ? The pizza here is pretty large and always expertly made kind of in the NY style but with its own twist. My faves are the Roni( classic pepperoni pie) and the Strutter (sausage, onion and red pepper). Last time I was there I changed it up and got the King Tidal (bacon, pineapple and scallion) and it was killer. Also don't sleep on their wings. They are smoked instead of just fried and are out of this world. Cocktails here are no slouch either. Which you might not be expecting from a pizzeria. I recommend the bicycle operator. They also have a pretty extensive beer and cider list, if that is more to your liking. All in all, Pizza J is a must try pizzeria in a city that has a ton of great pizza places.

I loveeeee pizza j! We get pizza every year here for pi day! My friends who have gluten allergies and soy/dairy allergies can get stuff from here which is a big win. The pizza is really good. The ambiance is fun too. It's not your average pizza place! It's got art, neon signs, pinball machines and more! The service is great too. I'm always happy here!

I LOVE PIZZA J!!! My go-to pizza spot in PVD! The inside of the restaurant is so cool and I love all of the games and posters inside. Service is always amazing and they give the best recommendations when I can't decide. I'm here a few times a month and it never disappoints!

Fantastic pizza spot that has trivia nights, pinball machines, and just a really fun vibe. Our server was so knowledgeable about the menu and all the ingredients, and helped us make any modifications we needed for our food allergies. They also have an entire vegan menu, and we were very appreciative about how accommodating and accessible they were. We split some garlic fries (with a sub of vegan aioli) and one pizza (love that they could do half and half). We got a half of the Strutter (sausage and peppers) and half of the Neurotic Sasquatch (BBQ chicken), and both were fantastic. Really happy with our dinner here, and would love to try more pizzas!

A great time. Kids loved the arcade games - can't beach the lunch special for pizza for two slices and a soda for $9!! Kids loved the pizza. My daughter tried the vegan chicken- she was ok about it. The chicken Sando- not pictured - was excellent!

Always the best thing crust pizza here. We also love their fries. Fun atmosphere, lots to do with the kids and fun loving adults. Great beer selection. Service is always perfect, attentive and super friendly!

I swear everything the owner touches is awesome! Came here for Lord of the Wings and wow what a great SMOKED wing! Yes that's right! Juicy full of flavor, fresh! One of the only smoked wings I've had in the challenge and definitely one that would be hard to beat. But the pizza WOW! Huge pie, thin crispy no flop! I could have eaten the whole thing on my own embarrassingly enough. Full of toppings definitely a popular spot! The waiter was so kind and hospitable, if every restaurant had him there would never be a complaint on service. Love the quirks of the place! The pinball machines and arcade vibes but also the old school music and classics on the projector. Highly recommend checking out this spot

This place was a great find. Pinball machines, to the music, to bob ross on the tv (happy trees= happy me) The pizza half Rita and half Good Carma so good. The garlic fries out of this world and the garlic knots amazing. The service was awesome, Jona the bartender so helpful and knowledgeable. Gave us recommendations for more local favorites, that I plan to check out. The whole vibe was great, busy on Monday, what does that tell ya. I will be back to try more of the selections.

Is this a kid friendly spot?

Having…read morebeen around since 1960, this place had seen better days by the '80s when I was in high school, and apparently continued that downward trend for a while. But someone clearly invested wisely in bringing this Rhode Island institution into the modern era. The updates are impressive and practical. Everything runs smoothly - from the quick ball returns and pin setups to the modern scoring system. They've switched to hourly rates instead of per-string pricing, which makes a lot of sense with their efficient setup. Their Monday-Friday special ($20 for an hour of bowling plus shoe rental) is a great deal - and thanks to how quickly everything runs, you can easily fit three strings into that hour, as we discovered when we overbooked for two! The facility itself is super clean, including the bathrooms (always a telling sign). They've covered all the bases for refreshments with both a proper bar/food setup and vending machines. The counter staff is friendly, parking is plentiful, and the whole operation runs like a well-oiled ball return machine. It's great to see a family entertainment spot that's both well-maintained and affordable. Lang's has managed to preserve its community bowling alley character while giving customers all the modern conveniences they expect. Perfect for family time or a fun afternoon with friends.

The woman who assisted me was such fun to chat with and made some recommendations based on my interests. Definitely more books here I plan to return for. They even have a small area out the door (in the center of the building) to sit and read if you have time, or can't wait to begin your new book. Seriously, I have passed this shop half a dozen times and didn't realize what I was missing until I read their write up in Rhode Island Monthly magazine. Very glad I did!
